Sabrina was sitting in the coffee shop sipping her iced coffee waiting for her partner. They were going to be working on a project for Ancient languages and was worth most of their grade, well at least for Sabrina's it was. She always saw projects as the biggest things about school even if they weren't. She sat confidently even though she was nervous, she tugged at the sleeves of her jacket under the table, would her partner be late?

She sighed and shifted as she heard the door open, perhaps she wouldn't be sitting alone for long. That had to be her partner right? She didn't bother turning around instead she took out her materials and stacked them neatly on the table. She was a perfectionist, she knew that and she worked hard not to be, but it was well hard.

She heard the chair scrape against the floor and she looked up. "Hi! Im Sabrina" she said extending her hands excitedly as her partner settled in, perhaps this wouldn't be too bad.

Mal glanced around the coffee shop, this was the agreed upon locale that his partner and he decided to use for their project work. It seemed nice enough, perhaps he'd get himself a drink once they had established some ground work. He had his usual blue jeans and a grey t-shirt on, considering the warmth he had to walk through to get here, his school bag was slung over his left shoulder, filled with miscellaneous papers and a book or two to provide some research help.

Mal looked at the other patrons, just a few people enjoying a coffee, maybe one working on a screenplay, nothing interesting, but he was trying to peg down where his partner was. This would be the first time they met in person, considering the partners were predetermined, and Mal had just enrolled in the class.

He spied a young lady moving school equipment from a bag onto her table, and Malvoes thought that must have been her. He walked over, pulling out his chair that was opposite of Sabrina, and sat down as he was greeted.

Malvoes would smile in return, grasping her hand and giving it a shake, "Hello Sabrina, I'm Malvoes." She seemed rather cheery, he honestly had been dreading this slightly, working with people was never a strong suit in school for him, especially with clashing personalities and the like, but this might go well.
