Samael wasn't aware that his sister had come home that morning until he had bumped into her in the bathroom. Hey, watch where you're going idiot! were thus the first words she had said to him in months. And don't even try pull that 'You know I can't actually see' crap that you usually throw back at people. I very well know how much you can or cannot see, brother. she said, huffing as he stepped aside so she could exit the bathroom. And I mean that literary. she added, sticking her tongue at him.

In his defence, there have been people moving all around the house that morning, as the Aiden's stuff that Draven couldn't bring with himself immediately has finally arrived and was now being moved into the Anastasia's old room. Thus, nobody could really blame him for not noticing another small body coming into all of that mess. Nobody, that is, except for his sister.

Is it really safe for you to be here? was the first thing that came to his mind as it cleared from the initial shock of actually seeing her at home. Yeah, I think I caught something weird in today's power classes, so I'm fine for the day. she said, waving her hand dismissively. Her power worked on a period of 24 hours, which meant that once she had caught something, aka someone's powers, she couldn't get rid of them for at least a day, making it thus sure for her to be around other power users, and mainly, her brother.

Ah, good. Samael finally relaxed, laughing as he pulled her little sister into a hug. Egh, let go of me you idiot! the fifteen year old protested loudly, trying to pull herself out from her brother's embrace. Who said that you could hug me?!

Since when do I need a permission to hug you? he asked, still chuckling until he finally gave in and let her go. What are you doing here anyway? he asked, as they moved into the hallway, stepping to the side to let one of the workers pass by them, nodding his head as he entered what Samael guessed was a baby room now.

My class is going on some sort of trip tomorrow, so I came home to say bye. she said as she curiously poked her head through the door of the room that was previously hers, wanting to see what has became of it now. Besides, I wanted to meet that famous boyfriend of yours, considering that his kid is moving into my room and all. she said, as she looked around the room for anybody holding a kid. Cause I honestly can't believe you're dating anybody, let alone a guy with a kid! she said, laughing herself now as she turned back to look at her brother, curiosity obvious in her eyes. Samael, of course, couldn't see any of that, and simply smiled sheepishly at her comment. Yeah, well, it... Draven's not there if you're looking for him. he changed the topic in the end, not sure what else he could say to his sister.

No? Well, where is he then?

He's...

A childish squealing laughter could be heard from the next room over to the one you would expect it to be coming from; Samael’s room. While the rest of Aiden’s belongings were being moved into Samael’s sister’s old room, Draven had been entertaining him. He would have helped move his stuff but there were already enough people here for that and so instead of pawning his kid off to Samael or his parents in order to do that, Draven was being a good father and taking responsibility for Aiden. Having just woken up from a nap, both Aiden and Draven were now wide awake with the latter currently tickling the other and blowing on his belly to get him laugh. Yes, not only was Aiden put down for an afternoon nap but Draven had taken one with him; being exhausted after having been woken up several times that night, Draven had fallen asleep on Samael’s…now Samael and Draven’s bed with Aiden sleeping on his chest. The laughter only heightened in pitch and became more throaty and hysterical by the moment until it died down into a happy giggle. Unknown to the fact that Samael’s sister was here, Draven came walking out of the room in not the most decent of ways seeing as he was only wearing a pair of sweatpants, his hair was a complete ‘bed head’ mess and he was shirtless. Though the giggling little boy in his arms helped to ease the roughness of his appearance and once he they had both weaved past the people moving Aiden’s stuff, it was made known that the boyfriend Draven had been looking for wasn’t alone.

“Thought I heard ya talkin’ to someone out here.” He commented, giving a nod of ‘hello’ to Samael’s sister and taking his spot at Samael’s side and wrapping one arm around his waist. Aiden, non-surprisingly immediately became shy, burying his face in the crook of Draven’s neck as he had come to do around most strangers. It seemed he was doing a little better around Samael and his parents but he wasn’t too fond of the people walking in and out of the place and of course, a new face caused him to shy away. To be completely honest, Draven couldn’t wait for the people to leave so Aiden wouldn’t be so nervous. After all a laughing child was much preferable to an upset one. That and he wouldn’t mind the chance to put Aiden down in his new room to play or something so he could make out with Samael.

“So…ya must be Samael’s sister, right?” He’s heard a bit about her but hadn’t had the chance to meet her and could only guess by the color of her hair and other similarities to Samael that she was his sister.

In your room? the girl asked as a loud childish laughter suddenly erupted from her brother's room. They were taking a nap. the older sibling said defensively, pinned down by the weight of his sister's gaze, even though he couldn't really see it. Yeah, sure. she scoffed, smiling mischievously. In truth, she loved her brother to bits, and was as protective of him as a fifteen year old girl can be protective of a nineteen year old male, but that didn't mean she couldn't tease him until he was as red as his hair about things such as his love, and other kinds, of life.

However, just as she was about to say something else, a tall, dark-haired person came out of her brother's room and suddenly all of her focus was on him. He seemed rough, his hair a dark mess and for some reason shirtless chest covered in too many tattoos for her to count, however, a child in his arms didn't seemed to be complaining about being held by him in any way. I see he has already made himself at home here. Anastasia said with a cheeky grin on her face as Draven gave her a nod universally translated as 'hello' and took his place by her brother.

The said brother leaning into Draven's body immediately, almost without thinking, as the man wrapped a hand around his waist. Yeah, that's Anastasia. he said, trying to glare at his sister as much as he could, to warn her that she should behave. Draven, Anastasia, Anastasia, Draven. he said, introducing them to each other. The kid's name is Aiden.

Well, glad to meat you, brat. she said, addressing the baby shying away from her in her brother's boyfriend's arms. You will be taking over my room, you know. Better take good care of it. she said, still looking at the child, but making no move towards him, aware that the kid was probably scared of a new face. And that also goes for you, bed head. she than added in a stern voice not so much different from her father's except perhaps in depth and colour. You take care of my brother, or I'll swear I'll find the nasties power I can pick up on the Academy and blow you to pieces. she said, finishing her threat with a small huff.

Beside Draven, Samael simply sighed, shaking his head, as he resisted the urge to try and smack either himself or his sister on the head.

Sorry about that.

Those deep blue eyes of Draven’s only narrowed down on Samael’s sister as she referred to his son as a brat. Though knowing it probably wasn’t meant to be hurtful in anyway, Draven was protective of his kid and didn’t like the way she was speaking to him and more so disliked the way she was speaking to Draven himself. Mostly though, he was quick to annoy lately because he hadn’t shifted in a while considering he’s been taking care of all the mess that came with finding out he has a kid to begin with and also moving what small amount of belongings he has from his dorm to here and dealing with all the anxiety and whatnot that it all created. All of that stress accompanied by not having shifted lately made it difficult for him not to become snappy and to take things the wrong way and right now Samael’s sister was easily pushing his buttons when he normally would have just brushed it all off. Right now that wolf-ish side of him was clawing at the back of his mind and it wanted out. He could hold off for a few more days though his attitude would only increasingly become worse and he was already feeling rather uncomfortable but he needed to get Aiden settled down and things worked out here first. He didn’t exactly want to be around Aiden and even Samael when he was prone to outbursts and even more stupidity than usual but he also didn’t want to simply take off and leave them to deal with all of this when it was his problem and something he needed to take responsibility for. Tomorrow or the day off he’d go out to the woods to let that side of him free for a while but for now he would have to deal with it and that was something he knew he could handle, especially with the child in his arms and his boyfriend by his side helping to remind him to stay calm.

“That aint somethin’ ya gotta worry yer pretty little head ‘bout, princess.” He gave a snarky remark anyhow, resisting the urge to add a wolf-ish growl in there or say something even more rude or stupid as well. He did have much resistance though as he opened his mouth again to do just that. “I’ll be sure to take care ah yer brother here real good.” He cracked a sly smirk before pulling Samael even closer and moving in to plant a kiss on his lips. Why? Because he was both annoyed and almost territorial over his two boys and subconsciously felt the need to show dominance over that fact. It was stupid and childish but he’s always had issues with dominance and needed to be ‘top dog’ in order to be comfortable with a situation and confident with himself. It’s not something he fully realized though and was a result of having grown up the way he had.

If you think that that is going to make me squirm, sorry, I've seen worse. the short-haired red head said with a small smile on her face as she watched the taller boy plant a kiss straight to her brother's lips, the said brother leaning into it at first, before remembering that not only was his sister present, but that there was also a child there, in his boyfriend's arms, along with about a dozen workers fixing up the said child's room who really didn't need to see a full blown make out between their employer's son and his, for some reason, overly irritated boyfriend.

He still allowed Draven's lips to linger on his for a moment longer, simply because he hadn't kissed the other man properly in quite some time thanks to the kid, and his parents, being around them constantly during the last few days, until he finally managed to push him away in the end. Will you please behave? he asked, a bit of anger still present in his voice, even though in reality he didn't really mind the kiss all that much. Her I can understand he said, glaring at his sister who simply stuck out her tongue at him once again , she's fifteen, but could you please control yourself? Looking closer at his boyfriend's emotions though, Samael noticed how irritated he was, which was far more than the situation of meeting one's younger sister asked for, and thus proceeded to try and calm the raven head down by placing a hand on his chest and softening his voice as he spoke again. Please?

Gah, you two are gross. Anastasia suddenly said, covering her eyes and tilting her head back, presumably so she wouldn't have to look at the two of them, a small blush clearly visible on her cheeks for some reason. And there I thought you have seen worse? Samael asked, titling his head and rising his eyebrow at her as he chuckled, his hand still carefully placed on his boyfriend's chest.

As far as make out sessions go? his sister answers, still looking away. Sure. You two are just grossly sweet she said, removing her hand so she could glare at her brother and his boyfriend once again. So I'm gonna go downstairs and see what mom has made for lunch and you two proceed to...goo over each other or whatever. she said as she proceeded to make her way to the stairs by coming between them, bumping in the process, both of them on the shoulders.

Hey, mom... Samael heard her yelling from the top of the stairs already. Sighing a bit, he then chuckled again before turning towards Draven again. Like I said, sorry about that. She acts like that sometimes, even though she is younger. Not unlike you... he smirked, comparing the protectiveness of his boyfriend to that of his little short haired sister.

Being pushed away and reprimanded by his boyfriend for how childish he was acting seemed to snap Draven out of it a bit and he immediately began to feel a little stupid for his immaturity. Here he was with a child in his arms, his child of which he was supposed to teach right from wrong and to raise and be responsible for and yet he was acting out without responsibility for is actions. He bit his tongue and kept quiet as the Samael and his sister talked, and didn’t speak up again until after she had left.

“What a great first impression I must.” He sighed, removing his arm from around Samael’s waist to run a hand through his own hair. “I’m sorry.” He apologized, obviously not too happy with how that went. He was supposed to be moving in with Samael and his family and they were generous enough to offer him a chance to do so and he was making an ass of himself in front of Samael’s sister. Yeah. Great job Draven, way to get in on their good side.

“I just….well I aint shifted recently so I’m on edge, ok?” He explained, hoping the red head would understand. After all they’ve gone through this once or twice before so it wasn’t something new really. Besides, being temperamental was a normal thing for the hellhound, how well he handled it though was all a matter of how well he could keep his wolf-ish instincts under control. Going so long without shifting and being under stress greatly decreased that control and right now he had to be constantly aware of his instincts and making an effort to keep them under wraps in order to not shift randomly or do something incredibly stupid and probably dangerous.

“…But dun compare me to yer little sister….that’s just weird.” He added in with something of a playful smile as he tried to lighten the mood a bit. He did understand what Samael meant however; he had siblings at one point too. So, taking a moment to breath and not act out on impulse, he couldn’t really blame her for saying what she did and shouldn’t really take offence of it.

Samael didn't really understand the constant need to shift of which Draven always talked about when he was especially irritated as he couldn't really feel it, it being a need, not an emotion, and as such, not something that carried through their Connection...which, when he thought about that now, was definitely more than a month old, and still very much alive. Almost all of his other ones have ended like clockwork, the minute the thirtieth day since the connection was started ended, but the one between him and Draven still showed no signs of that, of really any signs of weakening at all. He didn't really mind it, though, as it let him peak into his boyfriend's head at the times like these, making it easier for him to deal with the sudden changes of moods and deep irritation Draven sometimes seemed to feel. The fact that Draven couldn't feel his emotions in return still sometimes felt like cheating, but he was willing to live with that bit of guilt if it help them not fight as often as they probably would without it.

It's okay. he said, laughing, as he reached for Draven's face, tracing lightly his boyfriend's cheek with his fingers. She likes you. Trust me. he said, thinking back on how his sister had acted. You would know if she didn't like you. No different from him, or his father, Anastasia was very direct, and sometimes very brash as well. She knows at least ten way to make the fact that she doesn't like someone very clear. he added once again, just to make sure that Draven would believe me.

I'll try. Samael said, laughing, as Draven warned him not to compare him to Anastasia. I can't help it if you two are similar though. he smirked, passing Draven as he headed for the stairs himself. I'm going down too, though you should probably put on a shirt before following us.

“Yeah, let’s just hope we don’t see any of them anytime soon.” Draven commented under his breath but with a light laugh as he did, shaking head at the next of Samael’s commented and muttering ‘are not’ under his breath. At the mention of the fact that he was still shirtless, his grin widened as he realized he had forgotten to throw a clean shirt on after Aiden effectively dirtied it when he was feeding him. As shy of a kid he was in contrast to his father, he was just about as messy as Draven is. “We’ll be down in a bit.” He called after Samael, heading back toward their room. The rest of the day hadn’t been so bad really and Samael’s sister turned out to be alright…for a teen girl that is. Maybe moving in with Samael and his family wouldn’t be so difficult to get used to. After all, it already practically felt like home and that was the thought Draven wound up falling asleep with that night, with his arms wrapped around Samael. Waking up was another story however.

Typically Draven was one to sleep in at every chance he got and wasn’t one to wake up easily, having to be woken by Samael half the time in order to leave so he could get to class on time. However, he found himself automatically waking up at an early six o’clock this morning. Not that he snapped wide awake but that his body told him to get up and he was attentive though his eyes were still shut and he rolled over, wanting to fall back asleep. Now that he was conscious though, he was beginning to notice something odd. It was like a static-y input almost that seemed to become stronger as his mind became more awake. Only it wasn’t static, there was no sound and it wasn’t like watching a static-y tv as his eyes weren’t even open. Where the hell was this coming from? And what was it even?

He gave a yawn but his curiosity and confusion outweighed his sleepiness and he opened his eyes. Or at least he was sure he did; it felt like he did but nothing changed really. That odd input was a little stronger now but he still wasn’t quite sure what it was. He closed his eyes and reopened them, expected for the world to come into view as it normally did but there still no change which promptly had him rubbing at his eyes and blinking over and over as if those acts would wake his sight up. No amount of rubbing and blinking made a difference however and that’s when he began to panic. He sat up suddenly, now fully awake, eyes wide and searching their surroundings in attempt to see them. It didn’t seem to matter however, which way he looked because he wasn’t seeing anything and whatever this input is…that seemed like he was seeing didn’t change based on where his eyes were directed. He wasn’t seeing anything…..why wasn’t he seeing anything?!

“S-samael?” He called out, groping around for his boyfriend because looking around for him didn’t seem to do him any good. It was as though he was surrounded by a fluid static-y like the fuzz of a tv. Only more like lines than dots and it’s was confusing and admittedly quite frightening.

Draven? Samael muttered in a muffled voice, his mind still very much half asleep, drawn from his stupor simply because he could feel that there was panic in his boyfriend's voice... he could feel...suddenly, his eyes snapped awake. He couldn't feel what Draven was feeling. Draven! he said, sitting up immediately as he opened his eyes on reflex, only to close them down again that very moment for he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Taking a deep breath he tried to calm himself down while in the same time reaching for a hand that was obviously reaching for his as well...only to find it to small to be Draven's. It felt...it felt much more like his own hand. What...What's going on? he asked in a shake voice that he could now definitely recognize as Draven's only the words were his, the words were what he was going to say.

Still too afraid to open his eyes, Samael turned his head towards the warmth of another body that he knew was there, noticing that he was turning his head to the left even though he knew the had fallen asleep on the right side of the bed, as always. And while it was possible that he had somehow changed places with Draven while he was asleep, there was no way to miss the fact that there was no heavy feeling of his hair falling down his back, tangled into the mess that it always was in the morning. His hands shaking, he carefully reached for his head, finding there a familiar mop of hair; familiar because he had drawn his fingers through it more times than he could remember right now...while he was kissing Draven. It shouldn't have been on his head, under his fingers...

Draven? he called for his boyfriend again in a small, scared voice, a tone that really didn't fit well with the deep tone of his current throat, as he slowly opened his eyes, already knowing what he was going to see for apart of the absence of his hair, he had also noticed the absence of the lines in front of his eyes. Draven, I think... he said, his eyes finally opened, his mind suddenly feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information his brain had suddenly received. I think something really weird has happened. Samael said in a shaky voice, feeling like he was about to cry...

“Ya think?” Draven snapped in response, his voice more shaky than angry however as he desperately grabbed for the hand that found his. Only…this hand was rougher than the one he was used to holding onto and he nearly pulled away but he didn’t when something odd happened. That confusing static-y input seemed to become even clearer than it had before and he could make out a human figure amongst the mess of ….whatever this stuff was. Not being used to this and overwhelmed by it, he wasn’t able to differ between the bed sheets and the other person in them earlier. It was still very overwhelming and through the movement of….the lines? He couldn’t really tell what was what but simply touching…Samael? Seemed to make it easier. He still wasn’t quite sure what he was seeing as he was used to color and visual textures to tell the difference between one object to the next but with all these fluid lines his depth perception was off and it wasn’t registering in his mind the same way it did in Samael’s, for unknowing to Draven, he was seeing the way Samael normally does.

“I can’t fuckin’ see, well not really and there’s…this crap everywhere.” He voiced his concerns, obviously confused and flustered. That’s when it dawned on him though, that his voice didn’t sound like his and Samael’s voice didn’t sound like Samael’s. His own was softer and calmer and Samael’s was gritty and low…like how Draven’s voice was supposed to be. He fell silent for a moment, groping his way up Samael’s new body to find his face because he was still trying to figure out just how this person looked considering that however much more clear this sketchy ‘vision’ was now, he was still having difficulty deciphering individual features from the rest of everything else as there was no color or shadow to help with that. Feeling along ‘Samael’s’ jaw bone, over his lips, nose, eyebrows and piercings put the pieces together however. The body sitting next to him wasn’t Samael’s but Draven’s own and the one he was now in wasn’t his but Samael’s…..which was something he had figured out by feeling his own hair and face and then putting together the input he was now getting in replacement of sight.

“Can ya see?” Was the next thing he said and in was in a much calmer tone than the one before as, even though he didn't realize it, he found it easier to calm his frustration than usual. Though not being able to actually see himself was freaky and he was still shaken up over the whole ordeal, the idea that Samael could after spending his entire life experiencing the world without true right, was admittedly a little exciting. Though, he also for some reason felt like crying and almost had a hard time not to considering he wasn’t used to feeling other’s emotions much less most of his own. “Ya can, can’t ya?” He asked again, reaching out to cup his face in his hands, although hesitant about it at first. “’Cause if I’m right ‘bout this ya should, right?”
