@Nightstripe has stepped down from being a cbox ranger, and we wish him all the best.
As a result of this, and in anticipation of the new chat system, we're once again taking ranger applications.
If you're interested, please fill out the following form and send it to Kyros! The qualification are as follows: Must be 16+ and be a member for at least 4 months.

The Clubs page in the claims forum has been revamped significantly, clearing out old clubs and adding several new ones. You can find a full listing for the clubs here.
It's worth noting that club leaders are expected to arrange activities for the clubs. This means plotting with your fellow members and getting threads going. If you have a character who is currently the leader of the club, please try and get some plotting going. Club leaders who aren't doing anything with their leadership may find themselves demoted at some point in the future.

In case you haven't noticed, the Plots section has been revamped! Check out our FAQ page to learn all about the different areas and how they work. If you noticed a thread of yours is in the wrong place, please let a staff member know!
October Events
If you participate in one of the Halloween events, you can earn the Halloweener Medal!
(ICC events do not count)
It's time for another ICC event! Starlight Academy is supporting Supernatural Awareness Week with a costume party held in city hall! You can find this event October 15th-16th in the ICC, which will be canon for the duration of the event.
The Haunted Corn Maze is our second canon ICC event of the month, taking place October 22nd-23rd. The corn maze hides mysterious treasure, but also prevents anyone who enters from leaving. Check it out here.
And our first non-ICC event of the month... Trick or Treat! Local businesses will be handing out freebies to trick or treaters. Local businesses are encouraged to make their own threads, and you can find both the form and more info over here.
Our second event of the month is the Masquerade, held annually in the academy's grand ballroom. Participants are encouraged to dress up and disguise themselves, and this event allows anonymous posting to keep up the mystery! You can read more about the event here.
All anonymous posts must be approved by moderators, so if your post doesn't appear right away, no worries!
The Show and Tell event was the winner of our Event Idea Drive contest, and we're excited to see what everyone is coming up with. Signups are happening now, and the event itself will run in November. You can find more information over here.

Post Spree
Starlight Academy will be having another post spree! This event will run October 8th from 12AM to 11:59PM in pacific time. Anyone who participates will be eligible for the participation medal, and the winner will get the special Posting Spree Medal. You can find more information here.
