Standing very conspicuously on the hill, Eurus tired to maintain his usual casual look. This proved to be somewhat difficult as he was bent at a 90 degree angle at the waist, holding the lower half of a body as it tipped forward through a portal.
Yeah, you know...everyday stuff. Whatever. Eurus tried to flick his head in his practiced way to show off an impressive hair flip, but this too was ineffective due to the fact that he was currently staring at the grass, his shaggy hair obscuring his vision of the rest of the world.

He heard a voice calling out a line from Star Trek. That's weird....wait, no, it was her. Was it? Of course it was, unless there was a second girl in portal limbo hanging out on the lawn.

Bracing himself on his less sore leg, Eurus did his best to pull the girl out of the portal. His awkward position, however, plus the fact that he'd never exactly been the type to work out....well, it was hard work. He paused for a moment, gathered up his limited remaining strength, and gave one forceful tug. The girl successful toppled out. Unfortunately, Eurus also toppled. And it wasn't even an impressive topple. It could have been a graceful descent; a couple of backward somersaults ending with a lithe back flip, and Eurus landing on his feet. Or a heart-pumping near-death experience; careening dangerously down the hill to meet certain doom.
But nope. Eurus flopped awkwardly down the hill at a ridiculously slow speed, painfully aware of every second as it past and yet completely incapable of stopping himself through some freak combination of inertia and dizziness. He finally came to rest next to a bench, sprawled out in an unseemly position on his back and smiling bitterly at the sky.

He just couldn't have nice things, could he?

[[His fall didn't come across quite as funny as it did in my mind. But that's alright. I have my memories. Also, he's coming across as completely unimpressive in this rp. Haha, an off day I guess.]]

Ana felt the pull, it wasn't confortable, but it needed to be done, she couldn't just fall head first down a tree, now could she? After she was out, haveing been pulled backwards so that she was lying on her back, she looked for the person who had been her lifeline while dimly noting that her legs were now under her back and it was quite uncomfortable. She caught sight of him as he made his clumsy way down the hill and smiled, partially because it was funny, and partially because of all the blood in her head making her giddy.

Sitting up, Ana closed the portal so it would stop pulling on her strength. She then wearily got up, slowly, slowly, use your leg as a prop to get up, and turned around. She noticed Rich-girl on her laptop, the cat still next to her, snobby, just like the cat next to her, Ana could see that now. Upon completeing her half-turn, she slowly made her way down the hill, careful not to fall and face still flushed from hanging upside-down.

"Do you need some assistance?!" There was amusement in her voice as she came up to the boy who had come to a stop against the bench. "Thanks for helping me by the way. Name's Ana." At this she held out a hand, purposefully ignoring the snobby rich girl in close proximity to her.

((:< Awww, how'd you know that Beatrice was a snob? She hasn't been too awful yet.))

Beatrice was then, amused. As the boy topples down, she gives him a quick look-over. Good looking. Always smiling. Awful taste in clothing and women, apparently. He gaze changes to to the girl as she snaps her laptop shut. Weird. Weird. Weirdo. Beatrice looks between the two before her eyes stop on the boy.

"Ooh, that was quite a tumble!" She leans over, offering a hand as well. "I'm Beatrice." She waits, a cute smile on her face, to see whose hand he would take. If he didn't take her, Beatrice would dismiss it as a man who doesn't know that the world is beauty, not any of the on-the-inside crap.

Beatrice learned that the hard way. When it came down to the bare, vulnerable wire, everyone didn't care who you were. If you were rich, you were taken, if you weren't, you were out of everything.

Guess where Beatrice was?

Eurus looked up at the two girls above him. Hmm…better.
They were both holding out their hands, and he paused for a moment, considering. He then before reached out with both of his hands, each one clasping one of theirs.

“Hi, I’m Eurus,” he said. He lifted himself up with their help, then struck a casual pose. His hands in his pockets, he flicked his shaggy hair to the side. “It’s all good. Not exactly my first tumble.” He figured this was better than going with ‘why didn’t you call timber when you knew I’d fall for you?’ Neither of the them seemed the type to go for that.

“Oh, and uh, no problem”, he added, turning to smile at Ana. “I’m always ready to help someone in need. Especially when they apparently have the power to send me to another dimension.” Now for a nice little chuckle, not too much. Nailed it. This was going much better now. Eurus just needed to keep his feet firmly on the ground, and things would be fine.

((Gah, my bad. Sooooo busy.)

Ana pulled slightly to help the boy, now known as Eurus, up. If this was a contest, it ended in a draw. She thought dimly. She didn't really care either way, what with the promise everyone made. No one could go past friend mode, it always ended badly. Poor Alvyna.

Ana, still being a little unsteady, put a hand on the bench to steady herself a little. Her face was still flushed a little from hanging, and she still had a blood-rushing-to-your-head goofy grin on her face. She could only hope he didn't read this wrong. "There seems to be a lot of falling going on around here lately." Oops, something else for him to take the wrong way. He did seem to be flirting, and she couldn't afford to have him think the wrong thing about her, but she always seemed to say the wrong thing to convey what she wanted.

"Ah, helping people is nice." Ana tried to tone down her smile to something less I-just-had-cactus-juice-and-am-totally-stoned-right-now, but she couldn't tell if she was succeeding or not. "And I can totally send you anywhere. Anywhere I've seen anyway. So don't make me send you to Tokyo."

(Yes I just referenced cactus juice a la Sokka from ATLA... Watch The Desert episode if you don't get it.)

Beatrice lets go of the boy's hand after letting it linger there for just the right amount of time. She smiles between the two, sitting back down. Letting the cat crawl into her lap, she winces and pets it slowly. It purrs loudly, and she smiles, almost reflecting the mood. If she played it right, she could play this off quite nicely. "

"I'm Beatrice." she says quietly after Weirdo was done talking. She slowly sticks her hand out for him to shake, managing to look curious and shy at the same time (although she was neither). It was a special skill of hers that she refined at the peak of social elegance.

"Nice to meet you, Eurus, and..?" She turns to Weirdo, hand still held out for the boy to shake, or even better, kiss.

They're all Weirdos here. just different names and faces. I'm just stuck here right in the middle of all of them. Oh, well, maybe I'll find someone as refined as I am.
