Terri for lack of better words was on a date. He was tired Of Skae and her whorish ways. He would not bend over backwards for her. Thats not how it worked, SHE was HIS not the other way around. He had tried to show her that, hed tried to make the whole transition from owning land to simply living on it peaceful for her. Yet she had done nothing but fight him at every turn. Wars happened, Territory was taken over and yet she was still bitter. Though he supposed in her shoes hed be bitter too. Still that didnt excuse her for the way she had been backing all these centuries. He was so fucking fed up with her nonsense.

He wrapped his arm around his companion for the night. Another vampire that had moved from the island, they were so much easier to deal with than humans. Plus they didnt bleed out if he bit to hard..which he tended to do sometimes. Still he couldnt get Skae off his mind. He had gaurds trail her from far away but he didnt say anything to her. The money, the gifts, all things that equated to his presence stopped. He secretly paid her rent but made it seem like his parents did that.
He was just about to walk up to the circus when he sensed her. His arms never leaving the girl's shoulders as he turned around

Skae was slipping through the crowds; she was dressed in an old cloak - crimson in colour. The woman's red locks were curled, delicately placed atop her head. She wore a dark lace dress underneath her crimson cloak, her hands twisting little rings; most of them gold in colour. The dress reached to her thighs, and while most girls would have added tights, Skae had not.

She tilted her head back, nostrils flaring as she studied Terri with the strange 'pire in his arms. She was removing her cloak when he turned around to look for her - and her words left her mouth before she was aware they were leaving her; "You like her filthy blood, M'lord?"

A pale finger pressed to her lips as she shook her head, turning abruptly to start walking away, her cloak tossed onto the ground, forgotten. In truth, though she was Terri's responsibility, his parents were the ones who would decide her fate - should she go on a killing spree. And they did not like her from the get-go. They claimed she was too reckless; which... Skae was.

She had gone from ruling to being owned.

Terri hadnt expected her to say that, looking at the girl and then back at Skae he slipped girl fifty dollars and told her to go but their tickets and find seats. He knew Skae was his responsibility, He was supposed to be teaching her how to act like nobility so she could be on his parents court. Of course she fought him at every turn but he was up for the challenge. He didnt want her to die for some reason. He had claimed her, the moment his parents added her land to their kingdom.

He picked up the cloack and followed after her, taking her hand and leading her to somewhere private near by. "why are you being so dramatic, You call me Terri any other time. Also Maybe i didnt want that girl to know about Prince Terri." He said tossing her the cloak and stuffing his hands in his pockets. He wanted to get back to his date, he didnt have time for the girl in front of him...at least not anymore.

Skae stared at the man, his skin was so... she closed her eyes and inhaled. The simple touch of holding her hand had sent her skin tingling. Skae had not been touched by another since the day he had walked out on her, and not contacted her since.

She releases his hands when he stuffs them into his pockets, biting her lip gently. She muttered, "Because. I'm the one you should be here with." She's taken a step back from him, resting against one of the tents that they had gone behind of. "Besides, she'd have found out. They only want you for the status." Which was what his family thought she wanted.

The cloak is clutched tightly in one hand, her red eyes scanning his features. "I've missed you, Terri." She whispered the words, biting her lower lip. She had never told the man she loved him - she'd always fought him, simply because she enjoyed the fight. Those words were as close as she had come to saying the three words she had never uttered.

Terri glared at her "Oh yeah didnt seem to want to do anything with me when we talked in the ballroom. Or the numerous times you stood up me up." He said his purple eyes glowing with anger. She was his, she belong to him and yet she let others touch her, have her. Did she not understand that she was breaking the rules, that she eas contradicting herself.

"So what, are you any better?? How many men have I killed because you were using them for their money?? How many times have my parents raided other land because the king was flirting with you, kissing you and I wanted them destoryed? Did you belong with me then?? Or were you someone elses?" He wanted to concede and forgive her but he couldnt. She had to learn.

"You wouldnt have had to missed me if you acted the way you were supposed to. You wouldnt be stuck with me if you would act proper. You have no clue why my parents like you. Youre so young and foolish." He said shaking his head, he refused to look at her. Why did she have to so this. He set her free, he was going to tell her parents to give her space. However she was being stubborn.

Skae stood there, flinching with each word. She bit her lip roughly - drawing blood from the place her fangs met with her flesh. She shifted her weight as she replied quietly, "I... I was afraid if I was the way you wanted me to be - that you'd get bored." She'd been so afraid he'd leave her if she became the perfect Princess his parents expected of her.

She glared at him quietly, shaking her head gently. "If you want that filth, go ahead. I don't care. Don't need you." But she did. She started to turn away from him - she did not want him to see the tears gathering in her eyes. She glared at him silently, mumbling, "Go away, Terri. I'm a big girl - if you don't want me, just say it."

It almost killed her to utter such harsh words.

Terri rolled his eyes "So you decided to fight me tooth and nail? Yeah that make sense" He was pretty sure she knew how ridciouls that sounded. She couldve just said something. He knew what his parents were like, how selfish and old fashion they were.

"You mean like me getting bored with trying to be there for you only to have you throw it in my face? What did you think would happen, that I would continue to chase after you even though youre already mine? I refuse to hurt you to prove that you belong to me. What more do you want from me? I try so hard to give you things youre used to and you throw it in my face. Im not jepordizing my repuation for you skae.

"Okay" was all he said before he turned around and walked off. She was getting off that easily and as much as it pained him to walk off. She needed to know how horrible he could be. She needed to realize that he had been nice to her all these years. Maybe not as nice as he couldve been but nicer than his parents were, than any of his family.

When he actually walks off - she had not expected him too - she sank to the ground. She was seated against that tent, staring after his retreating form - and then, the tears did spill. She cursed internally. She never cried.

The blood trails down her face would be hard enough to get off her skin - much less hide should he turn back around. But by this point, she did not care. She simply hid behind her fiery locks, glaring after him in some sort of mixture of anger and sadness.

Why would he just walk away? He didn't love her, did he? She was just his toy - his pet.

Terri was a horrible person, thing, creature. He knew that he was awful and he didnt try to hide it. He could be charming, he could promise someone the world and try and give it to them but that was rare. It was rare that he even stopped for a crying person unless it was a child. Even if she was 23 physically vampire wise she was still young, he understood how reckless they could be.

Still that was no excuse for what she had done. He quietly walked back to her, saying nothing as he watched her cry. He leaned against the pole of the tent. He wasnt sure how long he stood their listening to her cry before he sighed and spoke up.

"didnt you just tell me you were a big girl and you didnt care if i left to be with Hannah?" He said from his spot next to her. She had said it not him, she had made the scene not him. It wasn't his fault if she could follow through with it.

When he spoke, she shook her head. "Don't... I don't want you to go." She's tilted her head back to stare at him, inhaling the scent of her own blood. "I don't... don't want to share you. I can behave..." She mumbles the words, hugging her legs against her chest.

She was like a child. She had been spoiled like one for so long.
