The Sun normally didn't bother Mochi, but right now it was irritating her tired eyes. She was fighting the urge not to yawn or melt as they went outside. She really needed to take care of herself more. Jouka noticed this and behaved as an umbrella for the two Fashion Club members. The futakuchi-onna rubbed her eyes as Lei spoke. The hair laughed and attempted to fist bump the guy.

"HELL YEAH!!!"

A yawn escaped her just as the club question was asked. Her mouth twisted a bit.

"Err, just two or three...."

"MORE LIKE FIVE! She's in Fashion Club, Steak Buddies, Rising Star Idol Club, Dance Club, and Sports Club!"

Ugh, she couldn't even tell a little fib thanks to Jouka.

Lei accepted the fist bump, because it was rad as hell that he could fist bump sentient hair. Nobody else has ever done that before, he thought.

At the topic of Mochi's clubs, Lei listened to her describe the clubs she was in and suddenly felt... really, really exhausted. What was he even doing with his life anymore. Who knew. Seeing that Mochi was evidently tired, it didn't seem like he was the only one feeling that way.

"Dude. What are you, some sort of super human? Where do you find the time to sleep, go out with cute boys and binge watch Netflix? That just does not make sense to me." He waved a hand in front of her face. "I bet you can't even see straight."

"The answer is she doesn't. Lei, PLEASE talk some sense into Momo. She's been running on empty for the past several days! She's even fainted, yet she's insisted on juggling everything!"

"Five clubs isn't that bad..."

"Suuurree they aren't. Nevermind that over half of them require physical activity..."

The truth was Mochi couldn't take anymore of this madness, but she didn't have the nerve to outright say no. She had the terrible habit of pushing herself way too much. She jumped through many loops to please people, and she hurt herself this way. What didn't help was that she still hadn't fully adjusted to coming out of her hermit status. This was her way of forcing herself even more out of her shell, but she was going about it in the totally wrong way. Jouka knew this, and he was trying to sway her otherwise.

Lei shook his head disapprovingly. This was an absolute trainwreck. His bullshit meter was off the charts, and that meant it was time for a friendly intervention. They entered the cafeteria and Lei gestured for her to fall in line behind him.

"Mochi, dying because of school clubs is hardly worth the trouble. Trust me. Eat something, go to sleep, and in the morning, I'm going to pester you into dropping some of your goddamn clubs, all right? And then Jouka and I are going to have dinner, make out under the moonlight and have three kids, probably." Lei ordered two burgers from the counter and led them to a table, gesturing for Mochi to sit across him. "Seriously, Mochi. Why the clubs. Are you just a bitch for pain or something?"

Mochi entered the cafeteria and followed after her friend. They were next to each other in line. She was frustrated with her hair for confessing the truth, but it had to be done for the sake of her health. She was pushing herself too hard, and it was killing her. She tried her best to remain attentive as they communicated. As one could expect, Lei scolded her for her choices. The line went fairly quick, so soon she had burgers for herself and Jouka. Once they sat down at the table, she responded.

"I...I'm just not used to socializing, so I thought school clubs would be a good avenue for that. Each club I joined made sense at the time and reflected an interest of mine. Then it escalated and now I'm in five clubs and ready to collapse."

Jouka devoured his burger with ease. Momo didn't even touch hers yet. She was busy drifting off. The hair lightly slapped her awake. She jumped and blushed a bit.

"Sorry..."

"Sounds like a good plan to me, Lei!"

His voice cackled at the thought of having hair babies. Romance wasn't on his mind, but it seemed like a fun idea. However, Mochi's health came first in the list of importance.

Lei nodded attentively as he wolfed down his burger and moved onto his next one. He wasn't a completely uncivilized philistine so he finished until he swallowed before talking.

"So you joined clubs to feel like you belong, but you know with that shit, they're just..." He waved a hand. "...temporary. You're not going to find friends that way, unless you're perfectly fine with totally fake relationships, to be honest." Brutal but honest. Trademark Feng.

He rested his cheek on his hand and watched her slowly doze off. "Yep. Look at you, already falling apart. Wonder how you're going to juggle that in College."

While Lei was brutal, he was honest. That bluntness would be of great use to the futakuchi-onna. She was just filled with sweetness that she could run into trouble thanks to her naivety. While she wasn't necessarily stupid, she was pretty bad at taking care of herself. That's why Jouka existed to do so. However, sometimes one needs a little push from friends to help spot the right path. Thus once Momo was fully awake, she admitted defeat. Her cheeks blushed lightly at the college comment.

"Yeah, I should quit some of the clubs I'm in. I don't know which ones I should drop though."

She felt obligated towards all of them. Why did she have to be so indecisive? Jouka ate the second burger with ease. She was too tired to eat properly, so he would eat for her. She needed the nutrients.

"Thanks Lei! I like you. You're blunt."

The second mouth grinned.

Lei raised a finger to tell her to wait and pulled out his iPhone, flicking through his buttload of apps. Why did he have an app to track down menstruation cycles...? Never fucking mind. He blew a kiss at Jouka briefly, before opening up his notepad app.

"During times like this, I like to list down all the choices and the pros and cons so I make informed decisions. What clubs can you do without? What clubs are essentially the same? You have five. Let's trim it down to two or three. What are you in again? Steak Buddies, Fashion, Idols, Dance and... something else. Tell me about what you like and don't like about all of these and we'll see what we can take out."

Mochi saw the finger and lightly nodded as Lei pulled out his phone. She began humming to herself to prevent sleepiness. She didn't want to fall asleep on her friend again. That'd be rather rude. She had no way of knowing how many apps were on Lei's phone without looking at the screen herself. Jouka smirked at the kiss and blew a kiss back at the guy. Romance was high apparently, and it was glorious.

Then he went into an explanation of his thought process. She would have to list out her clubs, and from there they would evaluate the pros and cons of each club.

"And be honest, Momo. I will chime in as per the conditions of the curse if you can't articulate your real thoughts."

Jouka was there for the assist. Two large portions of her hair lifted up and crossed each other as if they were arms. Momo cracked a weak smile.

"I'm in Steak Buddies, Fashion Club, Rising Star, Dance, and Sports Club. I definitely want to stay in Steak Buddies and Fashion Club. Jouka would kill me if I left Steak Buddies, and I'm rather into fashion."

"Steeaaaakkk......"

Crap, now her second mouth was craving it. Nevermind that, it was time to settle the too many clubs situation.

"So I guess it's the issue of the third one. Rising Star, Dance, and Sports Club. Rising Star is pretty challenging because I have to dance and sing, so that's learning both the dance routines and the song lyrics. I really get a thrill being up on stage though! It's really satisfying to complete a performance and learn new songs. Dance is pretty fun because I enjoy dancing, but a lot of it tends to be restricted to certain styles. Sports Club...I'm really only in that because I like soccer, but it's very disjointed and all over the place since it's all of the sports in one club. Not to mention soccer is pretty strenuous in comparison to just watching it..."

It was decision time. What would be the most appropriate course of action?

Time to approach this like a butcher with a cleaver. He began listing them all on his phone.

"Steak buddies and Fashion. Gotcha. They don't need a lot of physical activity, anyway, so that's good, but the other ones..." He put a check mark on Steak Buddies and Fashion, rubbing his chin in thought after. "All right, so. Rising Star and Dance together are kind of redundant, and you get enough sports dancing on stage. I suggest you..." He crossed off Dance and Sports. "...Just join the school soccer team and drop Sports and Dance. How does that sound?"
