Eben walked onto the mountains, he wanted to see what the place looked like far up here. Maybe he'd run into a dragon like his cousin Trephas, but he frowned, doubting he would, and sort of wish he won't because, he didn't want to end up dragon food, like Trephas, Eben had no way of protection, except his dagger.

He went on wondering, he wondered if dragons had the same things as most in books about dragons, and it made him frown again, but he's eyes never changed, they stayed the same boring self, even if he was curious. His eyes, were plain.

He ran a hand through his hair, making it messy. Though he didn't care, he had a bad night anyway, and day, the memories were gonna drive him crazy one day. His power never gives him a break.

Kamberlyn took a deep breath. The view from the mountains, in her oppinion, was gorgeous. She twisted a lock of hair around her finger.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone. She became alert, studying him for a moment. He seemed harmless enough, but appearances were decieving.

As he walked he looked up, noticing the girl. He stared at her a moment, not even thinking about who she might be, or not. He silently cursed, and tried to block out his powers. It was as if a hand was reaching out, trying to grab her memories, but he tried to pull it back, not wanting the memories.

He looked down at where he was walking. When near the girl, he walked past her, then stopped, and stared out over the land, thinking it to be quite beautiful. He wondered if he should go higher, might be fun, but he stayed where he was.

Kamberlyn watched him as he walked past her. She walked a little farther too, taking in the scenery. "It's lovely isn't it?" She said in a soft tone of voice, twisting a jet black curl around her finger.

When she spoke, he looked around at her. He watched a moment, then nodded. "Yes, it is lovely." He said, calmly, and looked out over it again.

"I'm Eben Bane." He said, introducing who he was.

Kamberlyn nodded with a slight smile. "I'm Kamberlyn. Kamberlyng Augustana, if you want the full thing." She replied. She carefully sat down and pulled her knees up to her chin.

He looked at her once more, in a mere glance. He tried to keep his power under control, but it was very hard to do so. "I have to say, that is a very nice name." He said.

Kamberlyn's smile grew slightly. "Thank you." She replied. It was one of her most favorite names out of anything she'd used so far. "I rather like it myself." She added.

Eben smiled, and looked over at her a moment, then out towards the beautiful land before him.

"So, do you come here often?" He asked, his face quite emotionless.

Kamberlyn shook her head. "No. No, this is the first time I've been up here. But it's quite lovely. I think I'll start coming up here more often." She said. "How about you?"
