He thought a moment. What was his favorite book? He's read so many, he doesn't quite know. He loves history type books, but most find those boring, unlike him. He couldn't deny that the Lord of the Ring books were interesting, Tear had made him read those.

He shrugged. "I don't really have a favorite, I like history books... but then again... the Lord of the Ring are neat books..." He shrugged.

Kamberlyn nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, they are. I especially like The Two Towers." She told him. It was always a little hazardous to get her started on a topic she really liked.

He smiled. "Yes, that one does seem to be a good one..." He merely said, looking out over the land again, eyes dulling a bit, but it was normal, for him anyway, for always have a dull look in his eyes.

"My cousin, Tear, is obsessed in those books, she had made me read all the books."

Kamberlyn turned her head to look out over the land as well. "Tear; that's a nice name. Are you two close?" She asked.

"I guess you could say were close, after all, she is also here at the academy." He said, leaning back a little. Then the sharp pain returned, and he put his hand to his forehead again.

"I am gonna have t--" He broke off, looking forward, for once, and emotion flashed in his gray eyes. Terror. His powers broke out, though, this time revealing his cousins, Fury's, two years ago, when he was captured, and experimented on. It was terrifying to Eben. He was alarmingly pale, as the memory went on in his head.

"That's nice. I'd like to meet her sometime." Kamberlyn said. She turned quickly when he trailed off. "Eben, Eben, are you alright?" She asked concernedly.

"Eben, Eben, are you alright?"

He took in a deep shuddering breath once it ended in a matter of seconds, and he glanced at the girl. "I... I don't know... my powers are... very unstable..." He said quietly.

"I... I don't know... my powers are... very unstable..."

Kamberlyn frowned slightly, wondering if he was going to get sick or something. "Shall we go back to the school?" She asked.

Eben shook his head ever so slightly. "Theres no need, nothing helps, no pills can cure the headache, and no one can wipe the power away. The only thing that can help is give in to the power, but, I doubt you'd want me to know your past and secrets." He said. His head felt like it was about to explode! The power wanted loose, but he couldn't give in, he didn't want to, last time he almost did, it was frightening.

Kamberlyn's jaw dropped slightl. She quickly closed her mouth and pursed her lips. He was right; she did not want him knowing her past, and her secrets. "If I leave, will it stop?" She asked.
