Malicia was blissfully unaware of what was going on with Rowan. She really believed that he wasn't going to do anything drastic to deal with his problems. Especially not with the way things were going between the two of them. She was happy about that, too, even if she was worried about what his friends would think. She tried to tell herself that she was just worrying herself for no reason.​

She was entirely wrong. About both.​

She still hadn't really met Lizzy yet, but she knew she was one of Rowan's friends. It probably would have been better if the two of them had met under different circumstances, but as fate would have it the two of them just happened to come across one another right after Rowan's ritual. Mal still had no idea what had happened.​

Believe it or not, Lizzy was actually looking for Mal. She didn't know that much about the demon, outside of her having something to do with wishes.

What she did know, was that Rowan either didn't know who she was. Hell, it seemed like he didn't remember anyone from the Eldritch Bunch. But he did seem to remember Mal. And Lizzy had a sneaking suspicion that some how she had something to do with the ritual.

Finally spotting the small red demon, Lizzy would make her way over towards her. "Hey! Spikes! I wanna talk to you." She called out with a smirk.

Malicia was still optimistic when she first heard her. Even though the tone and the smirk gave her some pause, she knew that those kinds of things were difficult to read sometimes. She just responded with a smile, waving.​

"Yup, that's me." Lizzy said, looking Mal over. She seemed oddly energetic for her appearance, and what had happened. It was like she didn't even know, or care what had happened to Rowan. Probably both.

"Hmmm.. Spikes, Impy, or Red. I can't pick which one I like better~" She said in a sing song tone as she walked up to Mal. "Now, Red. What the fuck did you do to Rowan?" There was a clear anger to her voice. She knew Mal knew something. She had to.

"What do you mean?" She was taken aback by the sudden aggression from Lizzy. What did she do to Rowan? What was she even talking about? Had something happened to him? She tried to make her confusion clear, but she couldn't stop herself from sounding even more suspicious.​

Lizzy narrowed her eyes at that. If Mal was trying to deflect, that was perhaps the weakest excuse she could've come up with.

"You know, I thought you were smarter then that.." Lizzy said with a smirk, stepping closer towards her. She was trying to keep the distance between them small. She was in her element right now, and she knew she had to keep the pressure up.

"Rule one of bullshitting. Never try to bullshit a bullshitter. Now, I'll ask again. What the fuck did you do to Rowan? I find it really hard to believe he went to those two first." She snapped at Mal, referring to Alt and Index, although she said it as if it was an insult.

"Someone clearly had to talk him into it." Lizzy said, tapping a finger against her chin. "Now, I wonder who that could be, Red? It couldn't be the very obviously evil demon in front of me. Right?" She asked, leaning in closer.

Her eye widened and she stepped back further, panic starting to set in. Which two? Where was Rowan? What was going on? Someone had talked him into something? She started to pull things together more and more.​

"No, no, not again.." She said. "I told him not to go to anyone else!" She cried. She meant that she'd asked Rowan not to do anything drastic like trying to make a deal with somebody. It sounded like she was upset someone had gotten to him first.​

Lizzy froze at that. She honestly hadn't expected Mal to cave so quickly, it almost took away part of the fun. "Not again? What do you mean not again? What was Rowan trying to do!?"

"And for that matter, how the hell do we fix whatever he was trying to do? Cause' it obviously didn't work." The notebook Rowan had left behind was less then useful, but Mal seemed to have the answers Lizzy needed.

Fix it? No. No, no, no. What did that mean? Was he hurt? Mal's panic only grew as she started to look around. She was feeling desperate. She was looking suspicious.​

"What do you mean fix it? Is Rowan okay? Lizzy, please, you have to take me to him if he's hurt!" She said frantically. She hadn't even had a clue that he was even thinking about something like this, and now she was being told it had gone wrong and being blamed for it. It was too much.​

Lizzy shook her head and laughed. "Now, why would I do that? So you can just make it worse? No. Not until you tell me what's going on." There was no way Mal couldn't already know what was happening, not with the way that she was acting.

"Now, I'm giving you a chance to just tell me, Red. But if you reallllly want to do this the hard way, I'm fine with that." Lizzy said, her smirk coming back. She may have still been on probation for the Hector incident, but if she had to use her powers to get her friend back, she would.
