Lizzy rolled her eyes. "Riggghhhttt.. You don't harass them.. You just tell them they're evil, can't be trusted, and dangerous." Lizzy in a sarcastic tone. Before grinning at the small angel. "Sounds a lot like harassment to me."

She laughed when Rem said he was nothing like her "Oh please, we're more alike then you think.. I mean, we both have "divine" powers, right?"

“I don’t tell demons anything. I simply stay away from them and occasionally warn someone of the risks when I see them becoming too comfortable around them.”

He huffed. “And so what. Having divine powers doesn’t make us the same. A god can have divine powers, that doesn’t mean I’m just like a god. Even another angel could be vastly different from me.” He wasn’t sure what to do about this, he was just frustrated and felt powerless.

Lizzy stared at Rem for a moment. Just processing what he said. He claimed to "stay away" from demons, yet here he was on an island full of them. She couldn't tell if he was dense, or just stupid. Probably both. "Kinda hard to stay away when the island's full of demons ya know."

Then Rem started discussing how having divine powers still didn't make them alike, and how even though he had divine powers, it didn't make him like a god, and blah blah blah. "Speak for yourself, I have the powers of a god. Some of them at least." She said with a shrug. After all, what other explanation was there? They killed that "god".. thing, and then they got weird powers. No way they weren't connected.

“Oh trust me, I know.” Rem’s tone still made it pretty obvious that he hadn’t calmed down. He was still very annoyed with this jerk. He winced again, completely giving up on getting the halo back for now.

When Lizzy said she had the powers of a god, Rem rolled his eyes. He very much doubted that, but even if she did, he had something to say.

“You have the powers of a god and this is how you use them?” Rem stopped sounding so annoyed for just a moment, taking on his more uppity tone. “What a waste.”

Lizzy frowned and narrowed her eyes at Rem when he asked her if this was how she used the powers of a god. Did he really think he was any position to try to lecture her on how she should use her powers? She was the one in control here. At least, as long as she had his halo. And considering what she'd gone through to get her powers to begin with, she wasn't about to listen to some shitty angel who was trying to tell her what to do with them.

"Listen. I had to kill a god to get these powers. So as far as I'm concerned, I can do whatever I want with them."

Now his expression was just disgusted. “You killed a god for your powers and you think that’s as good a reason as any for using those powers like this?” He winced again before returning to looking at her with that unimpressed look.

“I still just... I don’t get how people like you treat killing a god like something to be proud of.” He shook his head. “Forget it, just give it back, I’m done with whatever this is.”

Lizzy just crossed her arms and smirked. After all, why shouldn't she be proud? Killing a god was no small feat, and it wasn't like Lizzy had done it on her own. It had taken all of them to kill "Mhaazed" or whatever the fuck that thing wanted to be called.

"Well, how many gods have you killed?" Lizzy asked, though she fully believed that Rem hadn't killed any gods on his own. And that meant Lizzy had done something near impossible that Rem hadn't. Something she wouldn't hesitate to try to rub in.

That look of disgust went nowhere as he shook his head. “You aren’t even listening to me. You’re travelling down a horrible path and-“ He winced again then continued. “And you won’t listen to any amount of guidance. If you continue down this path of slaying the holy and hurting the innocent then you’ll become a monster.”

“I am sad to learn that whatever talk the teacher had with you before didn’t work. I hope a second one will do better.” Since this talk was going nowhere, he was going to have to resort to what happened last time and tell a teacher. He began to walk away.

Lizzy just stared at Rem for a second. before narrowing her eyes at him. "I can guarantee you that.. that thing I killed wasn't holy. Far from it. Just because you're a god, it doesn't mean you're holy. Lizzy answered back. Mhazzed had tried to kill Lizzy and her friends several times over, and Lizzy seriously doubted that a "holy" being mudered people in its spare time.

Lizzy whistled at Rem as he began to walk away."Hey! Angel boy! Forgetting something?" she called out, holding up the halo. "Tell you what, I give this back, right now.. And you don't tell the teachers. Deal?

If it wasn’t holy then it probably wasn’t a god. Or at the very least it wasn’t a god by his standards. This island had proven time and time again that perhaps god was a looser term here than it was back on his home world. But whatever the deal was, he wasn’t interested.

Upon hearing Lizzy call out, he stopped walking away and turned back. He sighed at the display he got. Of course as soon as he got the teachers involved, that’s when she wanted to stop this dumb act.

“Fine.” He turned and headed back. This was safer than just relying on a teacher and he really wanted to end his head pain so he was going to agree with her little deal.
