Cheeto was the first to respond, nodding a few times and still swept up in Ai's kindness. "Y-Yeah, we're both going to college there." She gave a small, awkward giggle, smiling a bit more as she continued. "Well, I tend to do more of the work since me and Dorito here can share thoughts. Makes homework and exams way easier." Dorito, on the other hand, was focusing way more on the back area, her mind racing at Ai's words. "You eat here for free, and you extended your tab to us... We can eat here for free whenever we want?!" She almost jumped up to her feet with that realization, looking at Ai with wide eyes and a growing grin.

Cheeto sighed when her sister said that, seeming to droop at Dorito's realization and resting her forehead on the counter. "Dorito please..." Dorito, on the other hand, leaned back and smiled. "Well, that's settled." She extended a hand to Ai, her smile growing warmer and more pleasant. "I'm Dorito Lovis, and this here's my sister Cheeto. Nice to meet you, friend!"

"Oh!? College? I d-didn't expect t-that. I assumed t-that with y-your heights that t-the two of y-you were in h-high school like m-me. sorry..." Ai blushed furiously at finding this out. Assuming things of people made for embarrassing situations. When one of them explained about their power Ai looked between the too of them. "That's amazing! I-it would help so much when studying."

Before Ai could ask more about their power the other one, Dorito apparently, asked if they were now able to eat at Di Niushi's for free from now on. Ai blushed again but she spoke up. "U-unfortunately I t-think that will o-only happen if I was h-here as well..."

The first one sighed than looked to Dorito with their head on the counter. But it seemed that they had moved on from normal conversation to introductions. "N-nice to meet the two of you. I-I am Ai Shenxiao. I w-was curious though, w-with the two of y-you in College... w-what do you two study?"

Cheeto opened her mouth, about to respond to the question of what classes she and her sister took, but Dorito cut her off with a dismissive "It's not important, what matters is we're on top of 'em and got free time for stuff like this." Cheeto lowered her head a bit, feeling a bit put off by her sister's interjection, but recovered quickly enough, chiming in when Dorito finished. "W-well, what really matters is that it was great to meet you, Ai." Dorito nodded as Cheeto spoke, then changed the subject once again.

"Anything in particular you wanna ask us? I mean, if we're gunna be your friends then Cheets and me should let you know whatever you want." Cheeto simply nodded, smiling at Ai and turning in her seat slightly, facing Ai a bit more as well.

Ai was looking at Cheeto when Dorito spoke up interrupting their sister. Confused Ai kept shifting her gaze first to one and then to the other goblin sister. When Dorito asked if there was anything that she wanted to know now that they were going to be Ai's friends. "Oh um... I guess I'm really c-c-curious where you t-two came from... b-before the island I-I-I mean..." Ai was blushing slightly, was it rude to ask someone where they came from? There hadn't ever really been anyone that visited the village so Ai didn't know if this was okay or not. "A... and if y-you have s-special powers too."

Cheeto answered first, always quick to bring up her old home. "We're from Germany, the Black Forest." She suddenly seemed less shy, more confident, as she spoke. "Our hometown doesn't really have a name, just close enough to the surface for stuff to filter down from tourists, far enough that humans never see it, you know?" With a brief pause, Cheeto fished out her cell phone and brought up a poorly lit picture. The two sisters, much younger, had taken a selfie showing an intersection. It was a knot of caves lit by low burning torches, the smoke in the air exaggerated by the smoke. The two girls had almost framed themselves out of what was obviously their first picture, but it showed a stream of sunlight in the distance as well as some other goblins in rustic attire milling about behind them.

"I miss the place, the smell of the trees especially, but Manta Carlos has been like a dream come true as well..." Cheeto looked back at the picture for a few seconds, smiling to herself. Dorito, however, chimed in quickly, almost cutting Cheeto off as she jumped in to answer Ai's second question as soon as she could. "I gots mind powers! Wanna see me control someone's brain?" Cheeto suddenly looked up in shock as she realized what was about to happen, reaching out and grabbing onto Dorito. "D-Don't do it! Don't cause a scene!" Dorito merely laughed, squirming and wrassling with her sister before looking back to Ai. "Cheeto can do weird stuff with light too, like... I think she can level the island if she wanted to! Ack!" Cheeto forced Dorito into a headlock, letting out a strange, raspy snarl. "D-Don't say it like that! I would never..." Her words were drowned out by Dorito's laughing as both of them looked like they were about to spill out of their seats and onto the floor.

Ai investigated the picture they showed her eagerly, these two were going to be her friends whether she wanted them to or not it seemed. Though she did want them to be her friends, not many people were close to her height. But even though the picture was of poor quality it was full of their enthusiasm as Ai would put it. She was still examing the picture when Cheeto jumped to answer her questions.

"C-control s-s-someone's mind? I-isn't that d-dangerous?" Ai was a little worried. She hadn't needed to pay much attention to some of the mental power lectures that the school offered as her own powers were very much non-mental for effecting other people. So this was new ground for Ai in a big way. Though she wasn't much farther along than the thought of the danger to the person Cheeto would influence and Cheeto herself when she than said that Doritio had the potential to wipe out the island. "R-really!?" Ai wasn't so much scared as a sort of mix between terrified and impressed.

Though as their sibling wrestle was starting to get a little more serious Ai heard Di Niushi coming back with the goblins' food. "Burgers for the loud ruckus rousers over here. Enjoy, and don't hurt each other to badly or I'll pound that rule into your heads myself." The large minotaur put the plates down infront of Cheeto and Dorito before going about the rest of his buisness. Hopeing that would calm the two siblings down Ai decided to ask another question. "U-um... Cheeto... what do y-you m-mean by 'controling s-someone's m-mind'?"

Cheeto looked at Dorito with a bit of concern, as though she was worried about what her twin sister might do, but she looked back to Ai and gave a reassuring smile. "It's not total mind control... She can whisper into people's minds, trick them into thinking they're having the ideas she's giving them." Dorito cut in, her voice oozing with barely contained joy and pride regarding her powers. "Or scream. I can be as loud as I want and the louder I get, the harder it is for people to resist." Cheeto took note of the concern on Ai's expression, wanting to reassure her as quickly as possible. "W-Well, she doesn't use her powers all that much, since it's not polite. Right, Dorito?" Dorito nodded slowly, but kept a smirk on her face.

"And don't worry about Cheeto..." Dorito began, rocking on her stool and looking at her food, tilting her head and examining it with growing interest. "I don't think I've seen her use her powers seriously... Except when she tried to stop that Tsunami." Cheeto instantly shuddered, her hands moving to her arms as she held herself, the bite of the cold air and the all to deliberate malignant force of that storm still clawing at her. "Y-Yeah. I'm... harmless."

Ai's head was whipping back and forth between the two siblings as they talked. Once they were done Ai nodded. "I-It sounds l-like you w-want to help people. T-that makes you a g-good person." She leaned over to hug Cheeto as she saw the little goblin hug herself. Ai broke the hug a short time later and blushed at how sudden that might have been for the other girl. Panicking a little Ai looked over to Dorito.

"So w-with y-your p-power you're a-able talk to p-people in their h-head?" She fidgeted a little as she was trying to think of what to say. "Um, c-could you d-do that to m-me? I am c-curious a-as to h-how it f-feels" Ai was blushing a little harder trying to think of something else to say. But she couldn't come up with anything more.

Cheeto regained her composure quickly, the hug from Ai seeming to help but the little goblin remained quiet and watched as Ai made her request of Dorito. It was at that point, though, that Cheeto seemed to grow quite fearful once gain. Dorito, on the other hand, simply leaned in towards Ai slightly, giving an all too pleased smile. "Hmmmmmm... Would you like the whisper, or would you like something a bit stronger?"

Dorito picked at her food as she spoke, though it was not clear if she was testing the proverbial waters or savouring her meal. By comparison, Cheeto fidgeted nervously, watching her sister out of the corner of her eye as she turned to her own food, taking small, self conscious bites. It was clear to her that Dorito would take this as an opportunity to cause some degree of mischief, but she was unsure of just how far her sister would take things with their new friend.

Dorito leaned in closer to Ai even as the goblin girl was picking over her food. Cheeto was eating slowly. Ai was curious if she had gotten herself to far into the depths to swim and was going to find herself sinking. "Um... I-I guess a w-whisper? I-I'm not sure w-what that means ent-tirely." Ai looked between the two sisters trying to comprehend what it was that she was getting herself into at the moment.
