Nat nodded as Julian spoke. "I still have a list of donors from the last event, plus a list of benefactors of the MCSS," she informed him.

"It might be a good place to start, and we can add names of those that might be potentially interested in something like this like Malara Tor or one of the other design houses on the island," she suggested as she grabbed a pen and a notebook from her handbag to make a few notes on all they had discussed.

"Well look at that we have a good place to start then, we got a location, a theme , people to invite, and a lot of stuff to set up." Julian pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it to look for some numbers. "I got some folk and I can call too. You know, the other families out in Romania? I can give them or my sister a call. I'm sure the council wouldn't mind lending a helping hand."

"That'd be great," Natasha exclaimed as she wrote down Julian's ideas in Cyrillic her leather notebook personal agenda. She was still, after all these years, most comfortable using Russian for a lot of everyday things.

"Your sister?" Natasha said as she stopped writing for a moment and looked directly at Julian. "I don't think I have ever met her." She said, now intrigued to know more about her.

"Oh, yeah my sister." Julian kinda assumed Nat already knew about his family so he was a bit confused. He actually wasn't sure if he ever brought any family stuff up with her. He just assumed most vampire folk new about his family...considering their history.
"I thought I told you about her, Well I'm not the only child. In fact, I have a twin sister and a younger brother. They both live in romania though."

He paused for a moment and started looking through his phone. "My sister is also technically the coven leader. Well, we both are. Co-coven leaders." Julian faced his phone screen towards Nat so she could get a view of a photo of him, his sister, his younger brother, and his mom. "That's just the immediate family. My family is pretty big. Well most are married in or married off and explaining the family tree would be a bit hectic. I'm also related to some members of the other families in the coven."

"You have mentioned her, and your brother in passing," Natasha told Julian. "But not in any great detail," she said as she looked at the picture of his family and smiled. She could see the family resemblance. Julian obviously got his good looks from his mother.

"I love knowing there are vampires that can procreate and have families," she admitted as she looked up from the phone to look directly at Julian. "Until I met you though, I never knew that such a thing even existed," she confessed, having been turned by a vampire and left to fend by herself, relying then only on the lore that existed to understand what she had become.

"That is correct. Not all vampires are turned and dead." Julian nodded.

"Well originally, my grandfather was once human. He was turned." At that moment all the smiling and grinning was gone from his face. Julian's eyes seemed to turn red briefly as he stared, not at Nat, but as if he was staring through her. "As much as I enjoy giving history lessons, that is one very long and tiring one to discuss. Especially here."

And then in mere moments he was smiling and grinning like his usual self again. "There are many vampires who are able to have families and that's just counting the tradiotional way. One can view being turned by a vampire and being brought into their coven is another way of having family."

"I like that idea, Julian, " Natasha admitted with a warm smile. "I really like the idea that the Vasile coven is my family now," she told him truthfully.

"You know... The only other place I felt truly valued and accepted completely was, strangely enough, in Catherine's court," she told him, referring to her past when she was a lady-in-waiting under Catherine the Great.

"I'm glad you enjoy it. I worked hard to make the Vasile Coven a welcoming place for people like us." He smiled as he was clearly taking in pride of the Vasile Coven. Hearing stuff like what Natasha said only proved what he was doing with the coven was good. It also just boosted his ego. "I'm also glad that you consider us your family."

"Catherine The Great, huh?" Julian tapped a finger against the table as he looked at Natasha curiously. "Well I know of her but I never was able to get the chance to meet her. What was her court like?"

"Catherine's court was great," Natasha said with a wry grin, very aware of the irony of the statement. "There was always something going on ... group hunts, parties or dinners, stories and games to keep us busy during the long winters. Catherine always tried to keep us engaged. She was very much of the mind that idle hands led to boredom, and boredom often gave way to unnecessary drama."

"I wish you could have met her Julian," Natasha confessed as she thought back to her days at court. "She was not only smart, resourceful and beautiful, she knew how to keep the court intrigue to a minimum."

"I realise now people thought her ruthless and cunning because she did what she needed to do to stay in power. Though I suspect it was because she was a woman in a man's world," she said as she played with her goblet, remembering how eloquent and fascinating Catherine had seemed and how much Natasha had enjoyed waiting on her.

Catherine didn't sound like too bad of a person from what Natasha said. It sounded more like someone she enjoyed being around and probably missed.

Julian suddenly looked a tad distant. "She did what she needed to do?" Those words made him think about the stuff he did that probably fell into the ruthless side of things. What he did to his father, grandfather, and their court wasn't exactly the kindest thing possible. "Hmm, It could be a mix of both things but people will just go with what they wrote about her....and the people who wrote about her was most likely men."
