If Nat could blush profusely she would have. It was high praise to have her old mentor, not only follow her work but be proud of what she had attained in such a short time.

"You sort of gave me the idea, you know," she explained, smiling at him warmly. "I never had a coven or anyone I could truly count on or relate to until I met you," she confessed. "At least not vampire-wise," she added as she sipped at her warm blood.

"I wanted to give others what I really never had," she confessed. Her early life as a vampire had been solitary one. She never had someone who could teach her or guide her, everything she learned had been by trial and error mostly.

"Well I'm glad I was able to be the one that you could count on. I'm happy knowing I was able to help you." Julian had this growing feeling of pride in having been able to help Nat and many more lost vampires like her.
Julian picked up the goblet again and drink some more of the blood out of it.

"Well you know you have all my support and the support of the coven behind." Julian didn't mind continuing to support Nat and The MCSS. There was a lot of good in it for the community. "I can also recommend some of the new vampires I bring in to you and The MCSS. It would definitely help them knowing there are people and places that can help them here."

(Okay, since posts were lost, we can assume Julian and Nat are in agreement with the fashion show idea.)

"That's great news! I knew I could count on you," Natasha gushed, excited now as a million ideas flew through her mind of how Julian and her might put on the fashion show together.

"I was thinking that maybe we could put the show on in November and highlight designers, not only from Manta Carlos, but perhaps from vampires from abroad too?" she suggested to Julian, knowing that there were a few vampires beyond the Veil that were fashionistas and designers.

Julian nodded his head along with Nat's words. Getting both designers from the island and vampires who were designer off island was a excellent idea. "And we could have most of the models be vampired themselves. We could host it at the Vasile Manor too. There's enough space outside for a stage and a runway."

Julian thought about it some more. He usually avoided having events at the manor mostly due to not wanting it to get crowded and having a large mess to clean up later. Plus he didn't want to bother anyone who was staying over at the manor. He was going to ask everyone who was staying beforehand if that was okay. "If not the manor, I'm sure we can find another place. I do like the idea of an outside fashion show under the moonlight."

"Ohh, I like that idea... Maybe we can also advertise in the paper that we are looking for models, especially, vampire models?" she said, adding to his idea.

"You know, we could also use the grounds of the MCSS," she said, explaining then to Julian how she had hired mages to enchant the tents she had rented for the fundraiser she had put on to commemorate the opening of the center.

"It's kind of the perfect place too... a big old church graveyard, well, ex-graveyard. I had the ground de-sanctified," she told him.

"Advertisement is key." Julian nodded. "The quicker we get word out, the more hype we can build up around it. We can get advertisement on local radio, the news, and put up a poster in the community center." Julian added as he waved over the waiter to get their attention.

"The graveyard sounds like a good idea. Especially if we plan it for sometime in October. It would be a great event before Halloween." Once the waiter came over, Julian orderded another drink for himself and another one for Nat if she wanted one.

Natasha accepted the fresh glass of blood and smiled at Julian's ideas, flashing her incisors briefly. "They are all great strategies. We can also have a silent auction maybe?" she said, also thinking it was great to be collaborating again with her old mentor. She had kinda missed this exchange of ideas like they had had when she was mentoring vampires with the Vasile clan.

"You know, I really am excited for this," she told him as the waiter came back with a new glass of blood for each of them.

Julian was enjoying this talk he was having with Natasha. It was fun to plan events like this and was always fun to have ideas to just bounce off each other, especially with Nat. "A silent auction isn't too bad of an idea. We could do that and some of the money made could go to charity, help fund another event, or whatever else we can think of."

"The question now is, is this going to be a formal thing? A more formal event will attract the big spenders. It also might be better to make it known that it is a formal event to avoid any awkwardness of peoole showing up in pajamas." Julian laughed at the thought of that. While he did want the event to be open to the public he also didn't want to whoever to just show up causing problems.
"Or we can do the public show and have a more exclusive show later for the big spenders. We could do invite only and do it somewhere fancy."

"Well, one great big pajama party might be fun as a Christmas idea," Natasha pointed out with a mischievous grin as the idea of them sitting around in silly onesies flashed through her head.

"But you are right," she said as she toyed with her goblet. "We should decide whether we want something strictly formal, or a public event with something more private later on for a select group of big spenders," she said as she considered both ideas.

"Both ideas are good.. though I kinda like the idea of a public event for those that want to enjoy the fashion show, and a private invite-only after-party for the benefactors of the MCSS and other big spenders," she said as she looked at Julian to see what he thought.

"Well then I will have to agree with you. Let's go with that then. A event open to the public and a invite only after party to cater to the rich and pretentious." Julian was fine with setting up two events. He was actually eager about doing two events. That was just more time and fun for him to plan some extravagent fancy rich person party.

Julian finished off the remaining blood in his goblet and then eyed Nat. "So, private party. We have to invite people we know who we can easily sway for support. People who would like to support the community." Inviting people who are known to help with charities were the ones he meant in this case.
