While he wasn't going to make a habit of this, Eli found himself in yet another strange location, potentially even creepier, given the circumstances.

He had lost a bet to some other students, and having to spend the night in the War museum was to be his punishment. Eli can't even remember why he even made the bet in the first place, just that the guy really was able to do a handstand with only three fingers on each hand. The fact the guy probably had a levitation ability kinda rigged it, though.

With the lights turned off, every shadow was threatening, and knowing that real weapons resided within these walls made it only worse. Someone could sneak in and make off with some dangerous stuff. Where were the night watchmen? The movies made museums look like fortresses. So far since his wait in the bathroom, he hadn't even heard a single noise other than the click of his shoes on the marble floor.

At least no-one would bother him while he waits this out. Maybe he could find somewhere to sleep.

There was a crackle of energy from an artifact that had been on display since the opening of this very establishment. The object in question was a simple pendant that was thought to belong to a great knight or king from medieval times in Europe. Through various tests and scrying, there was not a single sign that this little thing held anything that would pose a danger to anyone. But if one were to walk by it now, there would be a very vile and detestable air flowing from this piece of history. The pendant shook and twitched as if a magnet was pulling on it. The magical safeguards against theft triggered, having detected magic involved. The whole building felt a light tremor as all the metal shutters fell to lock it all down. Emergency lights flickered on and an alarm sounded, barely masking the sound of glass shattering. The pendant was on the ground now, quaking in place as the gems on it cracked. Something was trapped inside and it wanted out. There was a loud crack as the gems all shattered into fine dust, which formed into a cloud. Soon, the displays shook from where they hung, getting more violent as seconds passed until they were all ripped out. From the room came the clattering and clanging of metals along with the piercing grating of metal against metal. It all held together somewhat, clumping into a mass of now-ruined museum pieces. As if something was guiding it, the clump of metal burst through a door to access the rest of the museum. It roamed the halls, ripping weapon replicas from their holders and decommissioned equipment into pieces only to add it to the clump. The cameras were witnesses to all this happening. As the anomaly quickly grew, the clump took form, looking more humanoid the more it consumed. A metal maiden now stood at the middle of the WWII exhibit where it fully took form. A black mist surrounded it, leaking out from the imperfections of its form. It let out a shrill shriek with a thousand voices that caused the lenses of the cameras to shatter. The mist spread out, picking up more material and adding it to the now-feminine clump of old war junk, patching up where needed.

((OOC: Really sorry about the delay))

He had finally found a comfortable spot in the Trench recreation when the alarm went off. Darn it, he thought. Something was bound to happen, wasn't it?

Eli climbed out of the trench to find that while He was clearly locked in the Museum, due to the windows now being shuttered, There was clearly something going on in a different section. He could hear metal scraping against metal. Was someone robbing the place?

Tiptoeing as to not be heard, Eli noticed that some of the museum places were no longer there. Why would someone want to steal a firearm that doesn't work? When would there be use for a broken gas mask? This was going to get really confusing.

Following the sound, he found himself hidden behind a doorway, watching as the War Machine Lady shattered glass. Is that armor, or a whole new person? He wondered. Did I just witness birth?

Hovering a feet off the ground, she was finally complete. Heavy breathing could be heard coming from her, distorted by the mask. She looked around the room, now stripped of useful materials. She grew increasingly panicked, her head darting from one side to another. She was trapped here, and she wasn't happy about it. She raised her arm up towards a wall and three of the swords strewn around her body popped out into the air, pointed to her chosen escape route. They all lunged through the air, but bounced off the shutters. She growled angrily as the turret on her shoulder took its turn. It fired a shell that created a fireball upon impact. War was pushed back by the recoil of her turret, and then by the resulting shockwave. She scraped across the floor like a little manikin. On the bright side, the shutter was damaged. Two more shots and she could get out.

"Well, thats not good." Eli muttered to himself. He was looking at possibly the meaning of the word 'dangerous', his face still warm from the heat of the explosion. Probably be a good idea to leave.

For some reason, Eli instead pulled out his phone. Along with the Spidergirl from the forest, he'd now have another dangerous photo subject. "The Newspaper might want it." He figured.

That was if he managed to get without dying, of course. Would his phone still work if he was a ghost? "Might have to look into that."

He didn't realise he had flash on as he took the picture, so a loud click was heard as the room was light up by the light.

War picked herself up with a distorted whine. But to her surprise, there was a flash and immediately thought there was an enemy nearby. She turned and brandished a cutlass she pulled out from her armaments and roared at the figure trying to hide. She held her weapon above her head and levitated a few inches off the ground and lunged herself towards his general direction, kicking the ground to get her forward momentum going. She screamed with a dozen voices all saying the same thing. "DIE!"

Eli could not have messed up more. On reflex, he put his hand up to conceal the flash, but all that succeeded in doing was blocking the camera's view of this being. "What a useful effort that was." He scolded himself.

Speaking of effort, now he had to run from a sword-wielding Metal creature. Eli quickly turned and ran. "I have to find cover." He decided, but where could he hide from something that carried a War turret on its shoulder? There wasn't exactly going to be a working nuclear bunker in this museum.

Regretting not taking the tour, or actually looking at a map, Eli ran blindly. Tring not to hyperventilate, He quickly ducked behind the closest Pillar to process.

So he was in a museum of weapons. The weapons combined to create the War machine, and I accidentally set it off. Now what? Should he send his will to his closest friends?

War missed and crashed into the shutters, embedding her sword into the metal. No matter how hard she pulled, it was stuck. Enraged, she screamed and snapped the blade in half. It was more than enough to take care of one enemy. She listened for the sound of running, which was not that difficult to find. She floated through the rooms, growling. The turret twitched, following her gaze. The enemy was close by, she could feel it. BOOM! A shell exploded in a small exhibit room, whizzing by down the hall before impact. "FIGHT ME!" it screamed. It stopped levitating, preferring walking this time. Each of her footsteps were heavy as one would expect from 200kgs of metallic mass. She wielded her broken cutlass while her gaze quickly was quickly thrown to one place or another. "COWARD!"

"Fight you?" He thought aloud as he heard another explosion. "Not if I wish to live"

Well, at least this will be a night to remember. Between the Sword and the Bullets, He wasn't sure how much longer he could last. He hadn't moved but was breathing quite heavily.

Regardless, he could still hear the War machine's footsteps shaking the ground. How much does it weigh? The irrational part of his mind wondered while the rest of him was shaking in his boots.

Out of pure instinct, he scrambled to his feet and yelled out. "Better a Coward than a Bully!" He had no idea why. Maybe he finally went mad. Regardless, he might be in trouble, given his now direct view of the War machine.

War became more and more agitated as the search continued to be fruitless. Where was this worm?! He could not be allowed to escape! The pain demands blood! And just like that, her prey scampered, running scared with a pathetic taunt thrown at her. With another scream, she chased as four spears materialized behind her. Immediately after taking shape, they whizzed through the air as if shot out like harpoons. The turret had yet to be reloaded, but it continued to point towards War's latest victim. Any moment now it could fire and end all this.
