Mew nodded. It would be horrible to hear what someone thinks of you. "I wouldn't want to hear what people think of me. It beats rumors through" she said, sadness in her eyes. "Does the foil hat work for you? How does it work to block thoughts out" she said, mind racing for answers. That's the intelligent side of Mew. Always needing answers to something. Mew was going to look this stuff up later about her powers and others. She idly wondered if the library had books like that. "Do you know if the library has books on powers and how to control them or just information" she said.

<div align=center>William nodded, confirming that the foil hat did indeed work for the most part. He didn't hear thoughts when he was sleeping either, and therefore tended to spend an awful lot of his time sleeping, which was probably why he always looked just a little bit sick and malnourished. Too much time was spent sleeping, and very little time was spent eating. Food wasn't something that crossed William's mind often, he didn't have much of an appetite and tended to live off candy and cake, which was probably incredibly bad for him. "I don't really know how it works, I guess it just keeps stuff in and keeps stuff out."

William didn't know the answer to her next question, he didn't go to the library very often, there was always too many people there and it made him nervous to be in there for prolonged periods of time. "I expect they do." He answered, William generally trailed around after Gabe most of the time, he was more like a shadow than anything else to that boy, he made him feel warm and safe and that made him happy. Bill certainly would go absolutely no where near the librarian, because frankly, he was absolutely terrified of him.</div>

Mew nodded. She tilted her head. "Do you want me to look up ways to prevent thoughts from getting into your head? Surely there are ways" she said, plus she was curious. She heard of telepathy but knew next to nothing about it. Plus she never really believed that someone could have that power. She sighed. "You must want a break from thoughts. I promise to look up that stuff. I want to help you out. I just feel like its the right thing to do plus I don't think anyone offered" she said. The poor boy must have headaches all the time.

<div align=center>William thought that was nice of her to offer, no one had really offered to help him with it before. Gabriel had made fleeting comments about it before, as had Micheal, but no help had ever really been offered. He supposed he didn't talk about how bad it got with either of them, you should with Gabe at least. He told himself with a frown, but Gabe was always so concerned about him and always freaked out so much whenever he thought something was wrong. "That would be nice of you... No one has offered to help me before." Meditation helped a lot, he found. So did sleeping. William hadn't been sleeping as much as usual recently, though, he'd been cursed with bad dreams right now, he didn't really know where they had come from.

William did have headaches a lot of the time, he didn't really like taking tablets to stop it either, tablets and Bill didn't mix very well, Gabe had pinned him down countless times to force them down his throat, though William had just ended up being sick all over the other boy so the joke was on him, really. William would take liquid medicines, but unfortunately that was a struggle as well. "Have you made any friends yet? You can talk to my friends if you like."</div>

Mew smiled. "I can't believe that no one would help you before. I have no friends actually. Your my first friend" she said. Mew was glad that she ran into William. The two of them seemed to become friends fast. She was wondering if it was just him or if all the kids where like that here. "I would like it if we could talk and become friends. I would like to make some friends here since I can't see my old friends anymore" she said. Mew was happy that she made a friend.

<div align=center>William was happy to be her first friend! He wasn't altogether that good at making friends, so he was proud of himself. He'd probably run off and tell Gabe about it, who'd pat him on the head and pretend to be interested. William didn't really care if his interest was fake though, it was the attention he liked. Besides, sometimes it was genuine. It always made William excited when it was genuine. "I don't really talk about it to my friends very much... Although sometimes I try and help Gabe control himself.." William paused for a moment, wondering if he should continue. He went with yes. "He can make electric... But he isn't really very good at it and it goes wrong a lot." William still sported rather nasty burn marks on his forearms from a certain incident that had happened a few weeks ago, Mew wouldn't have been able to see them though, they were covered by both sleeves and bandages.

William thought it was sad that she couldn't see her old friends anymore, he couldn't either, but they probably wouldn't want to talk to him now. That was okay, though, he'd met other people, albeit not all that many, but he felt comfortable with the people he knew, and that was enough.</div>

Mew tapped her nose. She may not know Gabe but it sounded like he needed help to control lighting. "Maybe I could find ways to control his lighting in the library. I can check it out. We can't have him running around not being able to control lighting. Lighting is a powerful element and very dangerous if not properly controlled" she said. She saw her friend die because of lighting. Mew didn't like the thought of someone not being able to control lighting. "Nobody got seriously hurt did they" she asked, nervously.

<div align=center>Mew was absolutely right. William was just a little wary around Gabriel from time to time, sometimes when he cuddled him he could feel static and it made the hair on his arms stand up. William didn't really mind though, he thought it was a small price to pay for his friend's affection. Nobody got seriously hurt, did they? Mew had asked, William giggled nervously, and ran a hand through his chestnut locks, they were wavy, unruly today, he'd washed it and hadn't dried it properly. "Well, uh... Seriously hurt.. I wouldn't..." He laughed again, clearing his throat and dropping a hand to the end of one sleeve.

He rolled them both up to his elbows, his arms were bound up in tight, white coloured bandages, hiding most of his skin, the rest was hidden beneath the rest of his sleeve, though the bandages didn't seem to go up that far. "He didn't mean to, uh.." The boy blushed a little, "we were um... Well I... It doesn't matter what we were doing.." He stammered, the colour on his cheeks darkening a little more. It had been an accident, William had assured Gabe it would heal just fine, but deep down he wasn't all that sure. He wasn't going to tell him if it scarred, anyway. He'd never forgive himself.</div>

Mew looked at William with concern. It sounded like he got hit with lighting. "Well I'm still researching. Your friend has a very powerful and deadly power. I would hate to see anything happen to anyone because he can't control his power" she said. She started playing with her hair. The thought of someone controlling lighting scared her. Mew also knew through if this boy could control it she wouldn't have to worry about meeting him. "Do you think I could meet your friend" asked Mew, curiously.

<div align=center>William had never thought about Gabe's power before, it was incredibly powerful, but he supposed his powers were if he used them in a certain way. Unfortunately if William ever hurt anyone with his powers, it would probably do him the exact amount of harm. Gabe wasn't dangerous by all means though, he wasn't stupid enough to let go of the control in normal situations, sparks generally tended to fly when he got angry or over excited, it was the second that had happened in the situation William had been in, poor Gabe had ended up overloading all the electrics in his room in the process. Lucky there was no fire.

William nodded, "he wouldn't mind... He isn't scary." William didn't think he was scary anyway, and if William thought that then he probably wasn't. He was friendly and Bill liked him. "He's really nice to me." Gabriel was a little bit older than him, though their relationship worked fine, he looked after William, as well as other things. William probably needed to be looked after by another person, he wasn't really very good at life, despite almost being an adult. That thought scared him though, he didn't want to grow up.</div>
