At least, this school had a student lounge for those that lived there, though he was definitely still within his passive and shy attitude towards this whole situation. It can kind of turn your whole world upside down to have to suddenly without reason, relocate your entire life, friends family and all. He really wished this book had not chosen him, but he couldn’t turn back time, at least not yet, with all of the weird secrets that this book has presented him with. He at least has learned enough to know that he is in fact the only reader of this book currently due to it’s true nature, just thinking about that fact makes him feel a little bit on the crazy side. Yet, here he was among others that were equally as special as he was in some way or another, he would have to get use to that, after all he was just a book wielded fool at this point. Someone else might find that funny but for him, it was an undeniable truth of his life.

Speaking of truths, Alex, took his time, in recognizing all that he could of the student’s lounge as he arrived. Finding some place on his own to sit, was his best bet for the moment, and while he was at it, he was tired of holding on to this heavy book, even if he could set it in his backpack, it was like holding on to a semi-useful weight, 24/7, even something more that the young Alexander did not sign up for, he was stuck it seemed. Depressed with what he has lost, and what he might never obtain. The way he held himself in pain and sadness, could be recognized by anyone that approached him.

As per usual, Hal had work to do. Not because he had left it to the last minute and needed to complete it quickly to meet deadlines but just to do work because that was what he enjoyed. Or at least, he told himself that he enjoyed working. Doing his work a few weeks in advance meant that he had more time to get more of a grasp over new concepts. Always wanting to get the best results, Hal always tried his best at everything he did.

However, living that way had always been so exhausting; a fact that he tried to avoid. After spending time with Sam and the gang, that seemed a lot more fun (and terrifying) than completing homework but he hated to let people down. If he didn't complete his work, his grades would drop and his mother would be disappointed.

Carrying a pile of some books, Hal placed them down on a table before realising there was another person in the student lounge. Despite not actually living in the academy, Hal found that the lounge was a better place to study than the crowded library. He gave a smile to the boy. "Hello," he began as he sat down, noticing the book the boy had. "Are you reading anything interesting?"
