New Character (16 year old student) needs friends

This is a quick and dirty want ad. Basically, I'm split on if she should be with the 9th grade girls (Going into 10th later this month) or 10th grade girls (going into 11th later this month). That said, she's been on the island and going to SA her whole life, so she'd likely have a decent social circle of other kids (probably girls, but she's not terribly picky).

Naoko is friendly, hard working, and has a serious case of resting bitch face. Her parents have powers, but she has none herself, a subject she's fairly sensitive about. She's really never known a life outside the island, so she's fairly curious about what life is like for mundanes, which makes it easy for her to approach people who came in late rather than being born there.

Oooh, I think I'm settled on 10th grade, which would be Cedar. From what I remember of Cedars backstory, she was recently brought back from the dead, yeah?

Was she on Manta Carlos before, or would Naoko have only met her recently?
