Larisa stared into the steam rising from her cup, questioning if this was really the right thing to do. It was one thing to go through old files and newspaper clippings. Trying to wrap her head around the extensive network her Uncle had set up was dizzying and difficult, though the second lab hadn't had anything useful either. That may have been a dead end, but there was a lot of loose ends to chase down, including this one - the 'delivery' company that had transported 'goods' to and from the lab. Larisa invited the current owner of that company to a meeting, hoping maybe they would know more.
She'd chosen a small cafe near the center of town, busy enough but it was small so most people took their drinks to go. It was a safe place for a business meeting, she knew that for sure.
