"A dragon." she repeated, her tone almost that of a purr as the edges of her lips curved in the slightest of smirks. Instinctively grasping at the hilt of her sword, she unsheathed swiftly, fluidly. Shifting her weight to her back foot, she then utilized whatever momentum she had to slice up in a graceful arc to block his attack. For a short moment, she leaned in, her expression portraying no hint of emotion save for a lingering curiosity.

"Fair enough."

Using the power from the block to start her next movement, she pivoted on her back foot, spinning a quarter circle before leaping to her left for a parry. Conforming her body to stay closer to the ground and guarded against his wing attack, she calculated her next possible strike. In a flash of silver against thin air, her sword was brought down again, precision amplified by a quick flick of her wrist as she targeted the middle of his hamstring.

Well that was enough to get Luna to unsheathe her sword. He'd rank the match at about even now. He at least wouldn't worry about holding back too much against her now. She was already moving to attack once again. There was a moment of contemplation as to what to do to counter this. He could probably heal from a wound from this kind of sword in a matter of seconds unless it was enchanted otherwise. He didn't really want to find out.

The air got colder, colder than it was outside, even. Frysta unleashed a burst of his freezing fire around himself. The blue, white flame would numb, and probably form a significant layer of frost over whatever they hit. He sprouted a scaled down version of his tail after doing this. He was contemplating fully transforming, he'd make that call upon seeing what here response to this would be.

As the temperature dropped significantly once again, Luna a sharp gasp escaped her lips. She watched in amazement as blue flames, so prominent yet so mesmerizing immediately surrounded the other. Should she refuse to use magic, the match would be decided that very instant. Shifting her body into light, she allowed herself a moment to stare at the blaze like a housefly at a light before materializing a few meters away, her posture relaxed and the tip of her sword pointing downwards. Silently, she continued to observe the other, taking note of his newly formed tail. In Luna's understanding, tails could prove disadvantages to the other, throwing off their center of gravity, however, it could also be a viable asset and not something to be taken lightly.

Tightening her grip on the hilt of her sword, she bent her knees, steadying herself before she lept off the ground in a blind charge, her blade leading her movement. Sparing a second to focus on the energy surrounding the two, she then manipulated the light by her side to form three shards which rushed toward him.

A light elemental? Something to that effect at any rate. He didn't really have the luxury of standing around giving it much thought. Luna's counter attack was coming. Frysta opted to standing his ground this time, his scales were steel hard. And any injuries he did sustain would heal fairly quick.

The temperature dipped sharply as he inhaled, then exhaled a stream of cold flames from his mouth. It would hurt if she took the hit, probably leave a layer of frost on her and have her fairly numb.

From what she could observe, the other had the ability to heal and quickly for that matter. In that case, her rapier was rendered absolutely useless, no better than if it were made of feathers save for the fact it could fend off his strikes. Once again, she felt the temperature drop to an almost painful low. Last time, a fury of flames were unleashed and she was willing to bet this time would be no different. Feeling the light slip through her fingers, she twisted her body and confirmed herself back into light before materializing behind the other a safe distance away.

Quickly steadying herself once more, she brought her hand up in a swift gesture, her palm facing the other's back. In a moment of concentration, she channeled the flow of energy, plucking at her strings of vigor like a seamstress at a loom and weaving them to form a sphere of blinding light that rushed toward the dragon. Should it make contact with a human, they would have breathed their last. Heck, with enough precision, it could collapse any building on earth but Luna had faith Frysta's scales were strong enough to prevent life-threatening injuries.

Frysta was about to pursue, and continue his assault when he saw her next attack. It was a big one. It was large enough that he opted to shift into his full dragon form. Then brace himself. He could weather this attack without serious injuries. But it did sting, Frysta let out a roar.

Frysta's scales were cold enough that they would cause numbness in a few seconds of direct contact. There were points on his black scales where there were thin layers of frost, as well as the floor around him. He was large, and imposing, and a lot faster than his size let on. He lunged forward and moved to swat Luna with his front leg.

Her first thought was none other than Dragon big... oh shit... Still unsteady from her previous attack, she found little strength for a swift dodge. Instead, she called upon the light, bending them to her will like a puppeteer with his little marionettes. Almost instantly, a shield of light crystalized in front her, internally reflecting rays of artificial cealing lights to give off it’s own gentle glow. Using the impact from the kick, Luna readily took the attack and boosted herself into the air, performing a quick backflip before landing lightly.

To speak true, she was impressed; the other was undoubtedly powerful and a worthy opponent. It seemed she had drawn the long end of the stick for her first duel. Tongue smoothly rolling over her bottom lip in a moment of concentration, her brows furrowed. The adrenaline of a battle was slowly settling in, seeping into her expression as a determined grin slowly emerged from her impassive gaze. From the safe distance, she wrapped her rapier in crystals of light, sharpening it to the best she could. Shifting into light she then disappeared from view before matarilizing in front of the other. In a sharp jump, she attempted the plunge the sword into his scales, drawing a vertical arc from his torso to neck to draw first blood.

Frysta moved back to lessen the blow that this light enfused blade would do to him. He knew there was a good chance it would be able to break through his tough hide. And he was right, it wasn't a deep cut, and it would heal quickly enough. It did hurt though. He growled in response, but didn't show any outward signs of pain. He leapt back, it was time for a counter attack.

He spread his wings and took to the air, breathing a stream of his freezing fire. He'd make a few passes thoroughly spreading the cold flames across the battlefield. Then he landed heavily, cooling his body to unnaturally cold levels. His guard was up, ready for whatever would follow.
