Private Nature and flying

Giving her stygian curls a few twirls, Raella bashfully glanced up to face the other. "Darling you flatter me, really, but I'm not all that great." Slowly slipping back into her usual flirty demeanor, she then continued: "But thank you, I'm very grateful to hear that, especially coming from someone as attractive as yourself."

The demon listened as Shiro explained her capabilities. Thankfully, she seemed to already be able to take off - that part, while the most natural to learn, was hardest to teach as it mostly relied on instincts. Without wasting any more time, Raella bent her knees ever so slightly as she launched herself into the air. Her wings gave a single flap, pushing her off the ground with a sharp gust of wind. Hovering barely a few meters above Shiro, Raella kept her posture relaxed as she divulged into her teachings. Her voice was audible yet had a soft, passionate touch to it. "Alright, first things first. In order to stay in the air, just make sure you don't tense up too much. Remember to keep flapping your wings at a rhythmic pace to trap the air - it's a lot like treading water actually. When I first started out flying, I found it easier to hover around before I learned how to glide and maneuver myself. Now, enough explanations, flying is all about experimenting." Swooping just a little closer, Raella grandly swept her fingers through the crisp midnight atmosphere in a gesture of invitation.

"Care to join me in the air?"

Raella's eyes widened in amusement as she saw the other unintentionally zoom upward. "Woah steady there, you got it!" the girl quickly exclaimed as she waved her arms in a slow motion. She was a little shocked at how fast Shiro got the hang of staying in control - a small part of her expected the catgirl to tumble out of the sky but thankfully, that didn't happen. Clasping her hands together, Raella's lips curled into a prideful grin. Her voice came off a little louder than she expected, cutting through the silent midnight atmosphere like an arrow slicing through fog.

"Oh my goodness, you did it on your first try! You're a natural!"

Profusely shaking her head, Raella let out a few chuckles of glee. "Darling it is I who should owe you such gratitude, you're an amazingly gifted student! It took me a lot longer to get used to flying when I was younger." Gliding over, the demon once again leaned in just barely too close for comfort. Voice dropping to a lower octave, she fiddled with the straps of the other girl's dress as she laced her words with tease. "Now, repay is a very dangerous word to use. Are you implying that I could request anything?"

Backing away to her original distance, Raella's tone reverted back to its usual whimsical cheeriness as she said a quick "Just kidding!" Once she made sure Shiro could steady herself, she then continued. "Ready to move on to gliding short distances?"

Though Raella was very curious as to what the "simpler thing" could be, she instantly got distracted when Shiro practically dropped from the sky. However, before she could even react, the other already had the situation under control.

accidentally landed in the pond once

"You? In the water?" An amused grin flickered across her face as she stifled a laugh. Doing her best not to imagine a drenched and angry Shiro splashing around the desolate pond, she continued. "My my, a cat in the water. How did that turn out?"

should I just follow you?

Tilting her head upwards, Raella let out a light hum as she contemplated. "Well, I believe it's easier if I followed you instead actually." Lowering her eyelids ever so slightly as her fangs lightly bit her bottom lip, she sparred the other a teasingly provocative glance.

"Feel free to lead me wherever you'd like, my mistress"

"Ah colds do suck. I remember when I was a lot younger and couldn't control illusions to conceal pain and sickness." Losing herself in short daze as she reminisced in her memories, she then continued "man, how do you even put up with being sick? It feels awful."

Spinning vertically to gain a little altitude, Raella followed suit just above the other. "Careful now, I don't have any magical powers to catch you if you fall!" Letting the silence settle between them for a few precious beats, the demon indulged simply feeling the gentle twilight zephyrs.

It's....different than straight up flying,

"Yeah, it definitely is." Taking in a slow inhale, she continued: "flying at night is perhaps one of my favourite past times. It's liberating, really. No deadlines, no expectations, no pressure. You simply exist like a lone star amongst the millions." Raella sparred a wistful glance toward the canvas of midnight skies. "Once you get the hang of flying, perhaps you'd love it as much as I do."

"Oh? Another night to spend with you? I wouldn't miss it for the world." Before she could properly finish her statement, she saw Shiro begin to fall from the sky. Dashing forward, the demon just narrowly missed catching the other. "Oh shit" she rasped as she dumbfoundedly watched her newfound friend plummet to the ground. Once she saw Shiro had morphed into an elegant panther right before impact, Raella let out a sigh of relief.

Landing shortly after, she quickly ran up to Shiro to check if she was alright. After Raella realized that she seemed just fine, she then exclaimed: "Holy shit you can change into a panther that is so cool!"

"any way I can convince you to keep that near crash a secret?"

"Well well well, what can I ask the great Shiro to do?" the girl teased as she slowly circled the other. Letting out a light hum, she then continued: "Well, perhaps you could give me your number."
