JIANG ZHENG QING
Zheng Qing didn't think it was very nice to assume his dormlets had challenged mental faculties, so he didn't, but when Kueria called him "Zheng laoshi" again, he sighed in his head. And then, an interesting tidbit of information -- so she hadn't been a bird originally, and she'd actually had a life outside of birdhood? Interesting. Memories she couldn't seem to unlock, of a past life... Qing wondered if she was suffering from one too many knocks on the head, or if she had a magical memory problem. Perhaps something was preventing her from getting them back.

Suddenly, the sunset didn't seem quite so interesting. Kueria's situation had piqued Qing's curiosity.

But he smiled nonetheless, especially when she mentioned singing. One of his kids, Wen, sang too -- and she sang beautifully. He wondered if Kueria was anywhere near that standard; from what he'd gotten of Wen's information, she was a literal, bonafide god of music -- just a very young one. If Wen had been mortal, it would have made no difference -- she was as young as some of his other kids here.

"I like to sleep. Sing for me?" He asked, laughing lightly.

Kueria would never pass up an opportunity to sing, be it on stage or simply to a friend. Well, in this case, she wasn't sure if her teacher could classify as her friend but it was good enough - no, it was more than enough.

Straightening the arch of her back, she shifted herself such that her center of mass was directly above her bottom as she prepped herself for a few short moments. Tilting her head ever so slightly, she said a quick "Kueria will sing now! She hopes Zheng laoshi will enjoy it!" Alas, at this point the girl had already long forgotten the right pronunciation to his name.

Kueria started off with a light hum, like the gentle touch of the first spring zephyr. Eventually, she felt instincts slowly override the fragments of her thoughts as she begun to sing. The girl first sang about the sea. From shallow lappings of the low tide and the predominance of the high tide to the humid yet refreshing gusts of seabreeze. Slowly but surely, the song morphed into one of a forest. A flourishing land where the canopy stretched to the edge of the horizon, where birds of paradise frolicked amongst idling clouds, and where folk waltzed with the passing winds. Then, her language began to metamorphize into one that was lost after the revolutions of time. The girl continued to sing, blissfully obvious of the solemn origins of her song as she let her power bring forth waves of euphoria to all who heard her.

As her voice died down, she peered toward the teacher, bobbing her head in anticipation for his critique.
