There were balloons everywhere, white and pink and yellow and bright happy colors all around. Zaine stood by an altar, rather nervous, waiting for everyone else to show up. He looked up at a tower, and noticed that Nero, Malkuth, Shekhinah, and Gevurah were all around, watching. It was obvious that they were here merely to attend and watch, deciding to not try and kill anyone today.

Mery went up to the roof with Nicki's help. She half smiled. "I love weddings." She told Nicki. She bent down and picked up her furry white dog so that he wouldn't try to run away and bother anyone that was there.

She couldn't believe that her best friend was getting married.

Nicolas helped Mery up to the roof, seeing as how she wouldn't have been able to get up here herself. He smiled when she told him that he loved weddings, and nodded in agreement. "Me too... even though I haven't been to too many weddings," he said. He looked around, having forgotten how Mery knew the people getting married. "I forgot again... who do you know here?" he asked her quietly.

Damien walked onto the roof. It was a miracle; one could actually see his face for once, seeing as how he had been able to keep his hair out of the way. He looked around, and noticed Shekhinah and a few other people out of the corner of his eye. He couldn't forget them, seeing as how he had almost been killed by the one with the axe before, now could he?

He turned his eyes away and walked over to where Zaine was standing, seeing as how he was the best man. Surprisingly, Tristan wasn't being annoying today, and to be quite honest, it was somewhat odd. However, the young man ignored this fact, trying to enjoy it while it lasted. As soon as he got to where the groom was standing, he offered a smile, going to where he was supposed to stand. "You excited?" he asked him.

Zaine nodded. "Yeah, I'm really anxious.." He looked over at the entrance to the roof and saw Aeta coming towards him. Aeta smiled. "I wonder where Jaden is..She was supposed to meet me up here for you and Nariko's wedding..."

Percy came to the roof he smiled, "Weddings, I love weddings, the couples, the cake, the balloons, the couples." He looked at the people watching a bit towards the back of the roof not wanting to make a scene. He loved to watch the bride and groom's nervousness and the usually passionate kiss after they said I do. He looked at them he loved stalking couples, he practically attended every wedding known whether he was seen or not.

He always lurked in the shadows at weddings, but today seeing the rather not huge crowd he was more noticable. He wore a black suit with a white shirt he wasn't one to wear white but at weddings he did. The sun was something he was a bit worried about so he wore a sharp looking hat which kept the sunlight off his neck and face and put his hands in his pockets so he was untouched by the sun.

He watched them as they had the nervous groom at the front, he wondered if he'd ever be able to feel that himself one day. He watched his attention locked on the happenings.

Shasta huffed as she climbed up the last stairs up to the roof. She was bored and it was time for an adventure!
Of course she hadn't realized just how MANY stairs there were!
You...are..SO...exercising...more...to...today.... she said to herself between gasps of air.
And also of course her idea of an "adventure" outfit was aqua leggings, a black skirt, and aqua top, and black converse all stars with a black shawl draped over her skinny shoulders.
So now, not only was she winded, she was COLD.
She finally reached the top of the stairs, allowing a few moments to catch her breath and then threw the door open.
Her eyes adjusted quite quickly and she realized that there was a ceremony going on...a...a...WEDDING?!

Balloons everywhere, guests, and what appeared to be a groom and best man... Her eyes turned purple. EMBARASSED!
Uh...uh...I'm sorry. I didn't realize there was a um...wedding...going on right now. Oh boy, I'll just leave. she said and turned around really fast but her hair flew in front of her eyes from the wind blowing causing momentary disorientation. And a rather ungraceful stumble.
Great.
Now I'm blushing
AND
my eyes are purple.
What the heck is going on anyway?!
This is a school!
For kids!
SINCE WHEN DID KIDS GET MARRIED?!

As it were, she stumbled into another uninvited guest. He was of the same feeling of her, but he showed it much better. He was healing well, dealing with his cobwebs, and when she stumbled into him, he caught her with the strong arms of a pirate. He didn't let go of her, looking down into her blushing face. "I'll let you in on a secret." he whispered, just loud enough for her to hear, "I had no idea that there was a wedding, but rather than stumble away, pretend that you belong here." His grin was borderline cocky, as it always was, and his face clean shaven for once. His brown eyes glittered with amusement, but his words were gentle and sincere.

He turned her around, holding her gently but firmly by the shoulders and guiding her towards the empty seats. "I'm Danger, by the way." he spoke into her ear, again, just loud enough for her to hear, lips barely moving.

Shasta was surprised when her stumble put her into the arms of a boy.
Rather than even more embarassment washing over her she was relieved. She SO did not want to take a tumble down those stairs.
She listened to him took a deep breath, and let him guide her. By them time he had introduced himself her eyes were the same steely gray.
Hello, Danger. she said whispering to him also,
My name is Shasta, thank you for rescuing me. I don't know anyone here, thus causing embarassment. When I get embarassed I tend to loose equilibrium. she said offering up an explanation even though he hadn't asked for one. She just hoped he wouldn't merely abandon her now that he'd saved her from embarassment and quite possibly broken bones.

Nicolas looked around as more people came up there. Well, either some of them were here accidentally, or there were more guests invited than he thought there were. He said nothing to any of them though, not really paying attention, and looked back to Mery.

~

"Yeah, I'm really anxious.."

Damien nodded in understanding. He turned his head when he saw Aeta arrive, and offered a smile in greeting, though he didn't say anything, seeing as how he was talking to Zaine. He noticed a few more people arriving, one who seemed as if he didn't want to be noticed, and one who had accidentally come here. The young man shook his head when another male came and brought her back. Well, this was going to be fine.

Jaden ran up the stairs, groaning. She was more than frustrated right now. The dress she had wanted to wear to this thing had been too small on her, so she wound up just wearing a nice pair of pants and a black shirt, and she didn't know if that would be accepted or not. Then, of course, it had been too hard to do something nice wit her hair, so she just had to leave it down. Maybe it wasn't a big deal, but she had cut the timing way too close. And there just had to be so many steps...

She finally got to the roof, and looked around, breathing deeply. She walked quickly to where Zaine, Aeta, and Damien were, and let out a sigh of relief. "Ok. I'm here. Now I have to go again in a few minutes, because I need to help Nariko get ready," she said. "Those stairs are literally going to kill someone some day... there's way too many of them!"

Of course, she hadn't been there to see Shasta almost fall down the steps.

Danger didn't ditch her once he'd gotten her seated, and simply sat down next to her. He was smirking when she finished her explaination. He didn't really care, but hey, whatever, that's life. "Yeah. I know what you mean." he spoke, his voice lilted in it's strange accent. Except, he really didn't. Sure, he knew what it was like not to know people, but when you're a pirate, and travel all over the world, you just learn to cope. But ah well. He was good at being sincere. Even when he wasn't.

He adjusted his fingerless gloves absently, practiced eyes scanning the other occupants of the roof. 'Well this should be interesting.' he pondered to himself, checking to be sure his guard was up. It was rather obvious that he didn't really fit here, but he was ok with that. After all, pirates had a tendancy to show up anywhere uninvited. He was used to it.
