Ember was baffled. What was up with him? First, his voice changes to a freaky deep tone and his eyes turn red and now he was asking how long it had been since the Japanese Civil War? She thought for a moment, trying to remember exactly when the war happened. "It's been over 2 and a half centuries since the Japanese Civil War. What is up with you?"

His eyes flare out wide in shock at how long he'd been imprisoned. "I-Impossible!" He turns to see the horse standing beside him, slightly afraid. It seemed even those in this time had some kind of fear of his eyes. He smiles spreads across his face, "Very well..You have outlived your use.." he says maliciously and draws his sword. Using his impossible speed he dashes at the girl and brings up his sword and freezes in mid-air. "What?! No! I will not give you back control!!" he shouts loudly. Suddenly he drops to the ground again, his sword falling a few feet from his body.
Ember was now more confused and nervous than scared. It was like Kyoshiro wasn't even Kyoshiro..like there was a body switch of something. She tried not to think like that because it would make her even more confused. How could it be impossible, time doesn't stand still or anything, it's always moving. Kyoshiro was just confusing her more and more. The second he started charging after her with his sword, she was ready to dodge it or even counter it, but then he froze. There sure was something going on, like there were two people inside Kyoshiro's body. "What the heck is wrong with you?!"
Rising up again, Kyoshiro's eyes return to normal. He has a scared look on his face as he looks at Ember, "Did he do anything to harm you?" he asks her quickly, feeling the presence within him haunting. "I can explain..I had no idea myself..but I guess I know what's with my weird birthmark now.." he said quietly. He slowly pulls off the glove on his hand and revealed the mark of the two swords going through the heart. It looked more like a tattoo though with its colors. He sighs, "I apparently have the soul of a Samurai from two centuries ago living inside of me.." he says quietly and shakes his head.
Ember watched as Kyoshiro's eye's returned to normal. Ember wanted to just make a run for it, but she didn't/ "No...he-or you- didn't.." She decided to wait and at least hear him out, see what he had to say. He showed her a strange birthmark on his hand. It looked more like a tattoo in Ember's opinion. He explained to her that he had the soul of a Samurai in him. Now that just freaked and weirded Ember out. But she didn't leave, instead she just stood there, not knowing what exactly to do.
Kyoshiro shakes his head and sighs, "I know..I find it as ridiculous as you do, but why would I lie about it?" he says to her quietly, "From what I gathered he was the most feared man in the war, Demon Eyes Kyo they called him. He killed a 1000 men by himself in one battle. However his power was sealed away and his tomb had the same mark my hand did." He glances over at her, knowing that she probably thought he was insane, however he didn't care. He slides the glove back over his hand and turns his gaze over to the door. "You may leave if you want..I won't keep you here.."
Ember listened carefully to Kyoshiro. When he finsihed, her first thought was in fact: Good god he's insane, but she didn't actually say that. After processing the information, part of her actually believed him, no amtter how crazy it sounded. The entire school was crazy anyway. "No...I think I'll stay..."
Kyoshiro sighs quietly to himself, hoping Kyo doesn't decide to re-emerge and do something to her, "Well..Alright..if you're sure.." he says quietly before turning to the horse next to him. He begins feeling sort of awkward with her because of the whole affair and begins wishing it hadn't happened. "So..what are your powers?" he asks her quietly.
Kyoshiro asked her about her own power. She stuck out her hand and gave him a thumbs up before setting it on fire. "I can control fire..nothing special." She said simply with a shrug. It was true, being a pyro wasn't very special, or uncommon for that matter. Ember stuck her foot in the dirt, kicking it around before asking, "So...does this, Kyo-or whatever his name is- just take over, or do you know when he's going to?"
"He can only take over when I'm in danger I think. I'm not sure what it was this time, I suppose he just finally found enough power to peek out and find out where he was. Thank god I took over in time thought.." he says trailing off slowly. He leans casually against the side of one of the stalls closing his eyes, "Soo...fire..that's more interesting than what I got.." he says with a laugh.
