Jaden listened intently as he started speaking, not wanting to miss a word of this. He was Nero's brother?! Oh, wow. She hadn't seen that one coming. She did wonder what this little prophecy was, though, and decided she would ask when he was finished speaking. She blinked when he looked away, but said nothing about him doing so.

When he mentioned that Nero wanted to kill the innocent, her icy blue eyes narrowed, and she bit the inside of her lip. Exactly what she hated. "So apparently he's a power-hungry spoiled brat..." she hissed quietly, feeling a bit bad for interrupting, but then again, the statement had been more to herself than to him.

As he looked back at her, she forced that look out of her eyes, though there was still a serious look on her face. The minute he was done, she decided to ask what she had wanted to earlier. "What's this 'prophecy of the end of darkness'?" she asked.

Aeta looked into her eyes. "One will come to power who will be able to destroy darkness and end the Xenoranth, and be able to bring the end of Atziluth about. Atziluth was one of the original four worlds that became so contaminated it fell from the sky into darkness upon this earth. The theory is someone with power, like someone from this academy, will rise to an unimaginable power and be undefeatable by the emissaries of Daath. I dont know who is truly meant to, all I know is I have a good chance to be the chosen one of this prophecy." He kissed her again, and held her close to him. "But for now lets forget pain and let ourselves be swallowed up by happiness to be together...."

Again, when he began to explain, Jaden listened to him completely. She was about to ask who or what Atziluth was, but refrained from interrupting again. And, besides, he had just answered that in the next sentence. As he said he had a good chance of being chosen for the prophecy, she held his hand tighter, bad things immediately going through her head. What if someone happened to him? What if he thought it was him, but it wasn't, and he got hurt? She gulped, shaking her head in an attempt to push the thought away. It didn't really work, though, unfortunately.

She smiled when he kissed her again, and allowed him to cold her close, having absolutely no reason to protest this. She merely nodded when he mentioned them forgetting pain and to let them be happy, but before that, she had to say one last thing. "I just have to say one thing, then we can forget about it for now," she told him. "No matter what happens, whether you're the one chosen or not, I'll help you. Like I've said before, you don't have to worry about keeping me safe — I know how to handle myself. Plus, when I'm around you, I gain more control over my powers, for some reason." The girl offered him a smile, doubting he would accept any help from her, but believing she could try and persuade him to allow her to do so.

Her face then brightened, since she was obviously done with what she had to say. "Alright... I have absolutely NO idea what to talk about or what we should do..." she said with a laugh. She had tried to think of something, but, nothing had come to mind.

Aeta smiled, then stood up and spun around. "They've begun their attack once more...We aren't safe here......We have to get out of here!"

Aeta fell back, a dagger sticking out of his shoulder. "Aahhh!" He transfigured himself into Aeteiras and jumped up, holding his Buster sword. "Stay back Jaden...I cant completely control Aeteiras, and I dont want him to decide you're a target, too..." He turned to his opponent, Gevurah, who held a sword in either hand, and had six more floating around him at ready.

"You're lucky, monster...I've never drawn all of my swords before...You get to face my full wrath...And the power of Daath, as well!" He threw a dagger, which Aeta blasted back with a flare of thunder from his palm. "I dont think so, Gevurah!" He growled, moving forward. Oh, how nice it would be for Zaine to rear his ugly mug and help me out! He dodged another dagger, but was suddenly hit in the leg by another throwing knife.

Aeta ran forward, swinging his mighty buster, which was blocked by three swords and thrown out of his hand and across the room by three others, which caused him to go flying another direction, landing hard on an empty table. "Aahhh!"

Jaden's eyes went wide when she saw the dagger sticking out of Aeta's shoulder, and immediately stood up, her fingers burning with the acid she was forcing herself to keep inside. She knew Aeta wouldn't let her help, plus, she didn't know what she was up against. The fourteen-year-old wasn't surprised when he told her to stay back, and did so, though it was apparent that she really didn't want to. The look on her face said it all.

The burning became a bit stronger as she watched the fight, eyeing Gevurah with a look of contempt. He probably works for Nero... that spoiled brat can't do anything himself, has to have all his little henchmen help him out, just because he doesn't want anyone to try and stop him... she thought to herself. She was tempted to go find and fight Nero by herself, but knew she most likely wouldn't last in a fight like that. Besides, she would most likely never be allowed.

She began to chew on the inside of her lip, worried about Aeta. She didn't think he could fight this alone, seeing as how he had gotten hit in the shoulder, leg, and had now been thrown back against a table. She didn't know for how much longer she could stay to the side and merely watch... it didn't seem right to let him fight alone.

"Do not fret, little girl...I do not intend to kill him, nor mortally wound him...I merely intend to remind him that he is nothing, and that he cannot defeat his brother at his current state. You must think of Nero a coward, a child, weak and unable to do anything...But he is not a mere child...He is more powerful than Daath himself....He just doesnt like to use his powers. Just wait, you'll underestimate him and find Aeta dead and you with no one to love...Unless you actually accept that there are only two people to truly fear in this world, Nero and myself." Gevurah laughed, and walked over to Aeta. "Get up. Get up and prove your worth to me!"

"Do not fret, little girl...I do not intend to kill him, nor mortally wound him...I merely intend to remind him that he is nothing, and that he cannot defeat his brother at his current state...."

Jaden rolled her eyes. So, who's side was this guy on? Was he trying to frighten Aeta into making him believe that he couldn't succeed in battling Nero, or was he trying to encourage the boy to work harder? Either way, she supposed it didn't really matter. She still felt the same, deep hatred for him as she did for Nero and the rest of his little workers.

".... You must think of Nero a coward, a child, weak and unable to do anything...But he is not a mere child...He is more powerful than Daath himself....He just doesnt like to use his powers...."

And this was what the young female found need to reply to. "So he has other people do his work?" she asked, her voice almost hissing. "Has other people try and murder those at this academy so that no one can stop him? Whether he likes to use his powers or not, he shouldn't have others be doing work he should do himself." She sighed, turning her eyes away for just a moment before looking back at him.

".... Just wait, you'll underestimate him and find Aeta dead and you with no one to love...Unless you actually accept that there are only two people to truly fear in this world, Nero and myself."

"I never said I underestimated him," the girl said. "I just believe him to be a coward, seeing as he does none of this himself. I never said he wasn't strong." She paused, deciding not to say what she had been about to next. When he mentioned Aeta being dead, she just shook her head, knowing she would never let anyone kill him. Even if it cost her her own life, she wouldn't allow him to die. She rolled her eyes again when he mentioned being only afraid of him and Nero. She wasn't really afraid of anything, other than Aeta's death. She would never admit this, though.

Her eyes narrowed when he told Aeta to get up and prove his worth, but she said nothing about it.
