Damien nodded. "Ok," he said. As soon as she said it was going to be fun, he nodded in agreement. "Except we kind of need to go see my parents." He looked away, biting his lip, hoping she wouldn't have a bad reaction to that.

Brielle nodded. "I think I can be brave enough..." She said. She was actually really dreading it, but if Damien wanted her to, she would.
Damien laughed softly, though it was the truth. She was going to need to be as brave as possible if they were going to see his parents. "Good, at least one of us will be brave," he said. Even Tristan would probably get upset over visiting. "Are you sure you don't mind having to meet them?"
Brielle shook her head. "No, of course not." She replied. "When are we going to leave?" She asked.
