She swung her legs as she listened to her music, leaning back. "Idiot. Just like Jake and Paolo." Karrah mumbled, talking to herself like usual.

"I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music do you?

It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled King composing Hallelujah."

She sang, as if she had never talked to the boy, mainly because she was now just ignoring him, finding hi ma jerk, for not wanting to talk.

"Idiot. Just like Jake and Paolo."

Lucas rolled his eyes once again. Moron, as if he couldn't hear her. Sure, she may have spoken low, but he had a good enough hearing to hear what she'd said. He sighed and looked down into the water, wondering if he should just fall in and drown. It's not like anyone would care.

When the girl began to sing, Lucas began to listen. By the words she'd sung, he'd recognized the song, since he too had the same song. "Not bad..." Lucas grumbled to himself, listening to how the girl didn't have a horrible voice. It's was okay, but she definitely no pro.

Egh, she was bored. She could call her family, though, they wouldn't like that, they don't really want anything to do with her now that she has powers, though, her sisters would talk to her, merely to tease her about the powers, and how Karrah wasn't like them. No, she won't call, not wanting to chit chat with sisters and brothers who don't care about her, and her parents weren't any better.

She moaned, and laid back on the dock, staring up at the sky, wondering what to do. Now she was listening to Ruby, it was a nice song, and she really liked it, her sisters hate it, it was funny to watch them argue over it sometimes.

He felt uncomfortable for some reason. It was like, he couldn't stand being near the girl because she made him feel weird. And it wasn't necessarily a horrible feeling. He discreetly observed as the girl stopped singing and laid back on the dock.

Lucas cleared his throat and looked back at the ocean, following the glistening light of the moon up until he was laying back on the dock staring up at the stars above him. He rested his hand son his stomach and began making the zodiac signs out of the stars. That always relaxed him.

After a long moment of just looking up at the sky, and stars, she took her headphones off.

"You probably still don't want to talk, do you?" She asked, doubting he would. To tell the truth, she felt bad for the older boy, not really knowing why, maybe just because he just seemed gloomy. She played with some of her hair, twisting it around her finger, and such.

((Sorry, bit small, lol))

"You probably still don't want to talk, do you?"

"So you noticed," Lucas said, still staring up at the stars. Sure, there was some tiny almost unnoticeable part of him that kind of wanted to talk to the girl, but he just couldn't. It was like he just couldn't let go of his past. that was his problem, he just couldn't move on. He had to dwell on how his family treated him and not start all over when he came here. He could've easily done that, but it was too late. Wasn't it?

((S'okay..heha))

"So you noticed,"

Karrah moaned. He was getting annoying, and more boring. She stared up, finding none of it interesting, and her music at the moment didn't keep her interest much either at the moment. She sat up, and sat with her legs criss-crossed.

"Ugh... boring... your boring... the sea is boring, and everything and everyone is boring..." She spoke to herself, making the winds blow violently at one spot of the sea, making some stronger waves.

"Ugh... boring... your boring... the sea is boring, and everything and everyone is boring..."

Lucas groaned...God she was getting annoying. For all he knew, the girl could also be very boring, or she could be very interesting, but he had no idea. Nor did he really care all that much. "No," Lucas said with a sigh. True, there were boring people in the world -he knew several- but not everyone was boring. He himself wasn't boring, he just chose to be because it was the only thing he was really good at; being boring. And pathetic.

Karrah made a whimpering like sound. Annoyed, and bored. "Well, I do suppose there are plenty of things to do, like annoy you a lot, but I already bet I'm doing so, and then theres cleaning my dorm, but that can get boring easily..." She talked on, smirking slightly.

"Whats your name?" She asked, not even caring if he said it or not, she needed something to do, and thinking about just annoying him was her best idea.

Lucas rolled his yes, knowing the girl was annoying him on purpose. He noted the smirk of hers, but he wasn't about to let a dumb girl like her annoy him, even if she already was. He figured he'd just ignore her and she'd stop annoying him, that always worked with his siblings.

"Whats your name?"

His name? Why did she want to know his name? "What do you care?" He mumbled, but after a moment or too he said, "Luke." Hopefully the girl wouldn't decide to find him after they left or something, because the he'd get angry. God, girls were so annoying.
