Lucas ignored her comment, since it was mainly to herself if anything. Everyone cared about a lot of things, even him. But he doubted that she cared about him.

"Well, nice to meet you, Luke! I'm Karrah."

The boy mentally rolled his eyes, and tried for a small even sarcastic smile, but it just wasn't there. He couldn't do it. Instead he said, "Nice to meet you too," in his typical low, slightly sarcastic tone. He still couldn't understand why she enjoyed annoying him so much. Karrah was just like his siblings...only nicer.
