Tomo snickered a bit and made herself comfortable on top of Tadashi. She was starting to feel sleepy. Being stressed and miserable was exhausting. But before that she licked Tadashi a bit and purred.
"You're the best, bro. An' I will only say this this one time."

"I thought ya already knew I was outta my mind. Don' I make it obvious?"
Tomo chuckled a little and yawned.
"An' ya gotta point with the best pillow in the world. An' it's all mine."
Tomo started to nod a bit and she closed her eyes, her breathing slowing down a little bit.

Tadashi didn't mind the licking. Under all the emotions, all the worries and cares of being a person, they both were still cats. They would always be cats. Tadashi gave a happy cat grin when she said he was the best. He nudged her with his head, "You don't have to say it, I know I am." Whether he actually believed that was unimportant.

"Yes, my crazy sister. Way more caring and loving than she pretends to be." As he noticed her yawning he let his voice get quieter. "Yep, all yours right now. Enjoy, sis." As she started to fall asleep Tadashi had the urge to do the same. It was one of the things he was best at- falling asleep. However he pushed that away for the time being and just lay there listening carefully for anyone approaching. It wasn't very often that he was in a position to protect Tomo and he wasn't going to fail when she needed him. However long she needed, he was going to stay right there and be her pillow.
