Oh good, the quiet one was talking! Cordelia smiled somewhat, hoping maybe that meant that she’d been accepted. “Thank you,” she said, shifting her stance a little awkwardly. “Short for Cordelia.” She shrugged her shoulders. Her name wasn’t too big of a deal for her. “It’s nice to meet you Selia, you too Seth.”

Her eyes widened somewhat. “Hot damn, four? How the hell did you have the patience for that? I would have wanted to shoot myself if I had to play an instrument at that age… did your parents make you or something?” Cordelia would be surprised if it was otherwise.

“So is that why you were up here, just to play?” She cocked her head to the side. “And what about you Selia?”

My, didn't it seem like Selia was doing a lot of sighing... He had to wonder why she seemed so melancholy; even he wasn't this down. He was slowly getting over rejection- very slowly- but he wasn't spending all his time sighing and moping... Still, there had to be a good reason for it, one he assumed she probably didn't want to talk about.

Instead of asking Selia about the reason for her glum mood, he decided to answer Cordelia. "No, they never forced me," he said with a laugh, recollecting how he had practically begged them to let him start taking lessons. He hadn't had to beg too hard, of course; they were both overjoyed.

Ah, but then came the question that everyone seemed to be trying to answer: Why were they here? There was no use beating around the bush, he knew there were other reasons besides wanting to play his instrument. "I came up here to think," he began, sighing a little. "I asked out a very close friend, and... Well, it didn't end so great."

Cordelia, even prettier. She went quiet again once Seth and Cordie started speaking, she looked at Seth when he sad he had been playing since he was four, she couldn't even remember what she had done at that age, but she listened to what they said, interested.

“So is that why you were up here, just to play?” “And what about you Selia?”

Seth said he had come up here to think, and she did hope she hadn't disturbed him earlier, she didn't even fully understand what he meant when he said he had asked a friend out, she was still figuring out friendships, but she shrugged that aside. Then she did shrug, shaking her head a little.

"I don't know why I came here I guess... I had thoug-" She stopped there, wrapping her arms around her tighter, hugging herself, she frowned to herself. "I couldn't sleep." She answered simply, trying to ignore the emptiness she felt, and trying to forget, no not to forget, she would never want to forget him, or anything at that, but right now, she just wanted everything to stop hurting. She looked at Cordelia.

"Did you come up here to think too, Cord...ie?" Selia let a smile slip onto her face again.

"I asked out a very close friend, and... Well, it didn't end so great."

Oh, no, the poor thing. The dejection was embossed in his voice and she stepped forward, resting a hand on his shoulder. She tried to give a smile, but it was tight despite the fact that she genuinely cared and could sympathize. “I know a thing or two about things not ending great,” she offered in soft tone and rested her other hand on her somewhat enlarged stomach. “You’re probably better off without her.”

So he was depressed, Selia was an insomniac tonight, and Cordelia – what had her reason been again? “Oh, thinking works, I guess,” she said. “I do a lot of it these days though. I heard the music and though it’d serve as a distraction buuut clearly not.” She laughed and released Seth’s shoulder at that point, looking between the two of them.

“You guys all right?”

Selia seemed as lost in the world as he did, probably more so, in fact. She just looked so sad, hugging herself so tightly like that... Still, it didn't seem like she was comfortable talking about it, so again he let it rest.

He followed Cordelia's hand to her stomach, getting the message quite clearly. How lucky he was to be a man and not able to be impregnated! The thought of a child with- Ugh, it made his stomach turn. No way in Hell would he want to see that monstrosity.

He had to smile a little at Cord's misconception, though. It was a sad grin, but a grin nonetheless. It was a guilty pleasure of his that he enjoyed informing people of his sexuality, he loved seeing their reactions. "Him," he corrected quietly. "I'm gay," he put out bluntly, before his thoughts drifted. Was he really better off without Nikki?

The answer was all too obvious that he wasn't.

And then came the all-important question that all three of them seemed to be trying to answer.

Am I all right?

He mulled it over in his head a few times before saying, quite honestly, "No, I guess I'm not all right... But I will be, in time." Things had to start looking up soon, and until they did, there was no point in moping around. He'd go find Nikkolai and set things straight tomorrow, that much was certain.

She looked at Seth when he said he was gay, though, she found absolutely nothing wrong with that, she had no reason to not like it. Selia decided not to say anything to that though, finding nothing to even say. When Cordelia asked if they were alright, she wondered about that... was she alright? Being completely without memory of who she was, and not having very good ideas on how to interact with people, and having powers that she knew little about, and somehow knowing how to fight well, and still have absolutely no memory of where she learned.

And then of Dean, feeling something around him but not understanding what. She frowned to herself, letting her arms fall to her sides.

"I'm not... alright either. Unlike Seth, I don't think I ever will be alright." Selia said, shrugging. She ran her hand through her white hair. She wondered how people would act knowing that she had absolutely no memory of her past, but she didn't know if she wanted people to feel bad for her, something told her it would just be annoying, and feeling weak and pitied wasn't one thing she liked much.

Cordelia blinked when he said that he was gay, especially so openly. For a moment she seemed to forget what that word even meant until realization made her nod once in recognition. “Oooh,” she said, “I get it now.” She laughed nervously and flashed an innocent grin. “Sorry. But still, I mean what I say. He probably isn’t worth it. A lot of people aren’t.” There was bitterness in her voice suddenly and she huffed. “You just seem to realize it when it’s way too late and you can’t do a damn…” She stopped herself. She was ranting and rambling and it probably didn’t apply to his situation. “Best thing to do is move on,” she grumbled as a finish.

And then finally the question was being answered. Seth wasn’t all right, but would be ‘in time’; Selia would never be all right; and Cordelia –

Where did she fit into this? With a sweet baby on the way things should have been perfect and bright, she should have been excited to bring a life into the world. It was something she wasn’t ready for, though, and for the first time since this whole thing began, she finally admitted it.

“I don’t think I’m okay either,” she confided. “I’m just scared.”

Cordelia took a deep breath. Her reason was apparent, Seth had told his, and with that in mind she turned to Selia. “What happened to you, dear?”

He was happy that the two girls both seemed to readily accept his little revelation. Not everyone took so kindly to the fact, which is why he usually saved the little tidbit of information until he better knew people. This time, though, there was something he inherently liked and trusted about these two, something that made him comfortable.

He tried to find reason to agree with Cord, he really did, but the rationalization just wasn't happening. Nikki... He was worth it. No matter how much he had to endure, if he could just hold Nikkolai and be near him for a moment- He'd know it was all worth it.

"I had a real bad relationship three years ago," he started, figuring they could all tell their respective tales. "It ended with him going to prison, and me realizing how much of an ass I'd been in that time... I've moved on since then, and when I see Nikki..." he trailed off, gazing up at the moon with a distant look on his face. "When I see him, I get the feeling that... I know it's corny, but I feel like we were made for each other. Trouble is, I don't think he's too into guys," he finished with a slight grin, attempting a joke to lighten the mood.

No matter what happened to himself, he wanted to help these two. Their problems distracted him from his own, and he got some joy out of being able to comfort others.

Cordelia almost seemed to speak for him with her question to Selia. He knew he would never have been able to ask on his own, he'd feel too much like he was prying. Now that Cord had asked, though, he added his own friendly, "We're all in similar boats on the same river here, hun.' Feel like talking along the way?"

She looked at Cordelia when she was speaking about how he isn't worth it, and how she entwine her own problems into it sort of, it all made her head hurt trying to figure this all out. Then Seth told his own little story. The word prison made something inside of her tighten. The idea of being stuff in a cage terrified her for some reason. She thought about what he said when he said that he and this Nikki might be made for each other, and wondered briefly how she felt for the boy she had met, who had asked her if he looked familiar to her, if only she remembered.

“I don’t think I’m okay either,” she confided. “I’m just scared.”

She looked at Cordie, Selia's bluish green eyes seemed to soften almost, and put her hand on the other girls shoulder briefly and smiled slightly, before dropping her hand to her side again, her eyes immediately went a little wide, and she bit her lip when they said those words.

“What happened to you, dear?” Seth even said something.

"I, uh, I have amnesia. I absolutely have no idea of who I may have been since I awoke a couple months ago. Recently I met a boy who asked me if I looked familiar to him, but he doesn't, but I feel as if I should. And there's so many things I know how to do, but can't remember how I learned, and it scares me how I know those things. I can't get anything out of my head, and I don't understand much." She took in a shuddering breath, calming herself.

Cordelia was, with good reason, somewhat shocked when Seth mentioned that his ex had gone to prison. A shudder ran up her spine, if only because his tale – although it had been short and extremely shortened – reminded her of her own. “Leave it to the jackasses to steal your heart, right?” she said with a somewhat wry laugh. There was more she could have said, but she decided against it. Seth’s words about Nikki being the one and only made her smile a little. She’d thought that too. “Aren’t you a little young to think that about him, especially when you aren’t even an item?” she asked.

Amnesia? For a moment, Cordelia contemplated; such a thing sounded absolutely refreshing. It would be nice to forget everything that had occurred in her life, to start over as a blank slate. She realized how it was a problem, though, and reached her hand out to Selia’s shoulder as a sign of comfort like she had done just moments ago to her.

“What was his name?” she asked. “Did he try to explain to you who he was?”
