Alette drank some of her water as she watched the start of the game with quite a bit of interest. KirMir did not seem to need to confer with their regalia before answering their questions and indeed had not told them what types of things they might select for the topic. It would be fun to guess along in her head as Tam asked their questions.
Kir continued apparently not focusing on the game at all, though in reality it was all one mind so they were both watching for threats and playing the game at once. Mir handled the talking for the game's first round. Tam had asked whether it was an animal and Mir had responded that
"it is not." Their mind had not gone to living creatures when they made their selection. Perhaps because they did not have a great deal of interaction with nature or animals.
However the next question had been whether it was a place or not. Mir had nodded and confirmed in a very simple tone,
"Yes." It definitely had fit the definition of a place. They noticed as Tam glanced over at the nightclub they stood outside and gave a small smile as they had been tempted to select their current location as one that might be difficult to guess. Their place was indeed outside and they gave another simple
"yes" to that question.
Anyone who knew KirMir would have known they didn't do a lot of things outdoors unless they were going to or from somewhere. Part of living most of their life on space stations meant that the outdoors were vaguely unsettling. They noted that such a thing could be used against someone though. If they played against Alette or Aria it could throw them off since both were fairly familiar with their daily movements and what things bothered them by that point.
They smiled again as the next two questions came in. Mir softly answered
"no" and
"no" to each of them. A place without trees, outside and not in the city would be a difficult one to figure out. They felt like they were doing fairly well so far. The place they had chosen was deceptively difficult to guess.
Alette glanced over at Aria and nodded towards Kir. With a return nod the older girl walked over to whisper to him that they could relax a little bit. Alette and Aria would keep an eye on things if they wanted to focus more on the game. Kir gave a small smile and thanked her before also nodding at Alette. They shifted their focus more on Marta than Tam though.
"You seem like a reliable partner for them. A good pairing," they said. It wasn't really a question but it seemed complimentary rather than accusatory. They had said it was fine for them to work together and they had meant it.
Aria smiled at Tam as they drank the water. She didn't know whether they needed it or not but at least it wasn't going to waste.
