Damien was sitting on one of the couches in the lounge, reading. Tristan, as usual, was bothering him, but the eighteen-year-old was trying not to let it bother him. The fact that he hadn't even gotten a phone call from his parents for his birthday was slightly upsetting as well. It was all to be expected, though, so he really shouldn't have gotten his hopes up.

Tristan was still bruised up from a past encounter where he had broken a few bones, so he couldn't be on the outside a lot. Even so, he was just as annoying — if not more so — as he always was.

I wonder where Brielle is, Tristan stated.

An eyebrow rose somewhat. "Since when do you even care about her?" he asked.

There was hesitation for a moment. I... I don't! Am I not allowed to wonder?

Damien just rolled his eyes, laughed, and continued reading, wondering himself where she was.

Brielle had finally managed to quiet the baby down, just as she reached the school. She started looking for Damien. She looked through the whole school, including the roof. Of course the last place where she looked, the lounge, was where he was at.

She rolled her eyes as she walked over to him. "Hey, Damien. Guess what I found in the forbidden area?" She said, as though he couldn't see the baby in her arms.

"Hey, Damien. Guess what I found in the forbidden area?"

Talk about coincidence, Tristan said.

Damien looked up and turned to Brielle, blinking when he saw the child in her arms. That was rather strange. He didn't answer the question for a while, wondering where she had found a baby. Then it clicked. "There was a baby in the forbidden area?!" he asked, shocked. That wasn't very responsible of the parents to do.

Brielle nodded and sat down. "Isn't that horrible?! Who'd do that to an innocent child?" She rocked the baby back and forth gently. "And he's so adorable..."

Damien nodded. "Yeah, that's really cruel," he said. Then again, neither of them knew the situation. But, really, the thing that happened around here weren't normal, so how could they even think to guess that an evil witch killed the father and the mother had died in birth?

He bit his lip. "So what are you gonna do? Can you keep him?"

NO! Don't keep him! Babies are PURE EVIL!! Tristan urged, hoping Brielle might side with him even if she couldn't hear him.

Damien rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything to him.

Brielle looked at the baby thoughtfully for a few minutes. "Yeah, I think I'm going to." She was silent for a moment. "Oh my. That means I'm like, a mother." She said, her lip quivering. She wasn't sure that she was exactly ready for that sort of responsibility.

Does that mean that we're...

"FATHERS?!"
FATHERS?!

They were both panicking. Damien's face paled and he was tempted to stand up and start running in circles, since, well, it was the only fun thing one could do when they were panicked. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down, hoping she wouldn't think much of the random outburst of the single word.

"Well, ya know, if you need help... I... I'm here..." he stated, giving a nervous smile.

Tristan snorted. Smooth.

"Shut up..." he muttered.

The baby had started to fall asleep, but when Damien burst out with 'FATHERS!?' he woke up and started crying. Brielle rocked him gently back to sleep.

She guessed that Tristan had been teasing Damien or something when he said 'shut up' and that he wasn't talking to her. "Yeah, that would be good. I don't know much about babies."

Damien covered his mouth and his face went red when the baby woke up and started crying. He felt rather bad now for waking the precious little thing. "S-Sorry..." he said.

"I obviously don't know much about kids either..." he said, making sure to keep his voice really, really quiet. "What are we going to name him?"

He then realized that he had kind of slipped in his words. "You, I mean. What are you going to name him?"

Tristan just laughed. You're making it way too obvious that you like herrrrrr!!

Brielle's cheeks turned slightly pinkish when he said 'we'. "I don't know. He sort of seems like a Peter to me. Like, the name just came to me." She replied. "Or maybe I've seen Narnia too many times."
