Appearance Description: Matty is a young tomboy like girl who stature is athletic and her size short at around 4'9 at her tallest, she has red eyes and pink hair which is short to medium in length while her skin is pale. She wears boy-centric clothes most of the time ranging from shorts to pants along with shirts and tank tops, the only time she wore skirts was when she was at her school which required uniforms and the occasional formal event. Though she has rocked a men's suit more then once, but sometimes she may feel the need to doll up especially if a boys involved.
Personality Description:
Matty is a nice girl who’s always kind to animals, and likes playing silly or sporty games with the children in her neighbourhood. At heart she's a tomboy that loves a competition and especially loves playing basketball, though a tomboy she still wears skirts but mostly her uniform and rarely frilly stuff. Preferring form fitting or sportswear as her fashion choices, but will dress up for the right occasions. Matty does okay at school though she's no genius she gets by, and being on the school team allows her to play basketball often.
She dreams of one day hitting the big leagues or even going to the Olympics, her team has won several tournaments and even travelled to other countries in international high school leagues. This has given her even more love for the sport, and the cultures of the world whose only difference is circumstantial by her belief. When on the court Matty is always focused on the game, never wavering and using her bursting confidence to win and encourage her team which is called the Yellow jackets. In her spare time Matty likes to hang with her friends or go hiking in the woods near her home, other times she's practicing her B Ball in front of her house or the court in her neighbourhood.

VEGEMITE EMISSION/CONTROL
Matty has the strange ability to emit and control the spreadable substance known as Vegemite, having gotten a special one of a kind jar from a friend in Australia. Matty consumed the lone jar over the course of two weeks, enjoying the taste with her toast and bread.
This special Vegemite rewrote Matty's DNA giving her control and emission of said substance, she still has issue using it when she's highly emotional. She can emit Vegemite to excessive degrees, and control it at will and even sometimes making crude shapes. She can harden and or sharpen it to the strength of steel, use it like a shield, burst, balls etc.
She can emit a fair amount of Vegemite, when in control she can produce enough to fill a large pond. But when lost in emotional control she can emit up to a small lake, in the amount that comes out but if she's able to be claimed down the emitting will stop.
PENNY DROP
Using Pennies or Quarters Matty can send one of these coins off like a high speed projectile, that can rebound off most surfaces and increase in speed. It originally goes off like a medium calibre pistol, through rebounding it can get to the force of cannon.
The coins themselves don't wear down when rebounding, as they're surrounded by a strange energy. It bounces off of most artifices but generally goes through organic materials, though if one can grab it then its force is diminished or removed. Matty can only do this with Penies and or Quarters, she even makes sure to have some on her at all times just encase.
Biography:
Matty was born in the cold state of Minnesota to a middle class family, the only child of two hard working parents. Matty grew up in a loving household to parents that allowed her to be whatever she wanted to be, turning to sports. Matty had a hard time getting into some sports, while in Minnesota she lived for a few years before moving. Coming to New Jersey was hard at first but Matty got to enjoy more sports as a result, showing off her speed in track for a while in primary school. She did well and even won at a few meets, but she didn't feel as accomplished in winning track.
Until one day on the way back from school, she took a different path back home. And saw a group of people playing basketball on a court, she got interested and watched the game. Afterwards she asked them about, they told her about Basketball and Matty soon became interested in the sport. At first she had a hard time because of her shortness, but she took her time and eventually she learned the game and overcame her disadvantage. Joining the school team and playing in her spare time Matty soon became skilled at the game, as she went through school like all other kids. Her team became so good that they won championships and even travelled to other countries, making friends while there.
One such friend from Australia sent her a special jar of Vegemite, over a few weeks Matty ate the substance. This ended up messing with her genetics, granting her the ability to produce and control Vegemite. In other travels Matty picked up a Tufted Ground squirrel from her time in Malaysia, getting all the right permits to take him with her back home and keep him. She named him Mugsie after the Charlotte Hornets player, taking him back home Matty taught and raised Mugsie to hunt in the woods behind her house. He'd always accompany her to games as an unofficial mascot, Mugsie would also protect her from danger whenever needed. Matty continued living in New Jersey as a high school student and basketball player, despite all the craziness that sometimes happen Matty was content with her life there.
She later found an additional power that had come from long gone relatives in her family line, her mother had heard of them but never believed the stories. Telling Matty about them, her mother wasn't sure what do do and searched the Internet and at first didn't find anything. That was until a letter came in the mail, expressing an invite to Starlight Academy. Matty didn't want to go, having to leave her friends and teammates. But eventually caved when her friends told her to go for it, and teach those trippers about basketball.
