'We are taught that none can go into the warp and emerge unscathed. With out any issues of their mind or body being slowly torn apart. Left to drift forever in a black abyss that was the world. The universe created by the Dark Gods who seek Humanities destruction. I have gone through, not at my own time, this in itself is a victory.'

Aurum sat sitting in the courtyard on a bench that may or may not being having a problem holding his weight as he pulled out a small ledger and wrote in it. He was keeping a record of events during his time in the school, though his eye and body structure was off from a lot of the others. A bulking figure that looks like he was on enough steroids to kill a horse. As well as his Bionic eye, either way. He was starting to feel at home.

He closed the book and put it on a chain at his side and the pen's top back and on and put it in his Jacket pocket from where it came.

His eyes glowed a deep blue as his mental shield was up. He stood up from the bench. The bench had a small indent from where Aurum had sat as he readjusted his tie. his Bionic eye wiring to life as he looked around. His suit was tailed for him and the cost was almost an arm and a leg.

He walked over to a small fountain- small by his standards and just was lost in thought at it. He was enjoying the simplicity that was coming with getting either sent back to the past or another reality that was forming. He was playing with matters he didn't know of.

Though he was pleased that he had gone down in 'Incidents' at the school involving injuring others. Namely people who spoke ill towards him or others he knew. Mainly him.

Aurora's "date" in the last few nights with Pavonine had left the mage tired for the first time in many years; apparently, keeping up with a young dragon was an action that was not trivial for someone nearing 150 years of age. At least in this realm.

Despite counting 147 as young by time mage standards, there were other natural species that also counted the age as young, immature, or downright childish. Aurora did not know the circumstances behind how age worked in the 41st millenium, but she could attest that the large man sitting on a bench, finally without armor, was probably much older than she was.

It was strange, entropy was supposed to break things apart, spread them out...but even after so much time had elapsed, there was still enough energy in the universe to do useful work for countless eons, allowing for still yet near infinite possibilities.

"Aurum."

He had moved towards the fountain in the courtyard, no doubt one of the more grandiose pieces of architecture in the school. Aurora was wearing much heavier clothing than when they had first met, a black trench, her hair tied up, and the normal red and torn cloak she wore tied into a scarf for the time being.

"You appear to have acclimated well. Have you been enjoying your time here, Justicar?"

Aurum was older than most people he knew. Hell, in his squads he was the oldest. He placed his hand on the book as he heard his name being called and smiled a bit. It was a familiar voice, that he heard too often for the most part.

"Aurora."

He responded. She did look happy that he was finally out of a suit of armor or his average attire that looked 'out of this world' but the suit did make him feel more at peace than anything. It just showed that he was still who he was. He turned his head over to Aurora as his eye locked onto her.

"I have, this place has been more than hospitable. It's been a change from war. Out of my thousands of year. I think I understand what I was fighting for in the first place. Tis saddening my brothers may not live to see the fruits of their labors."

He said and turned his eyes back to the fountain as the eye had kept a lock on her. An arrow pointed in the direction of Aurora. Looking at the fountain he spoke again.

"Fear not. For now, I am just.. Aurum. I have no squad to lead. No leader worthy of my skill."

"A bit of a strange irony that your brothers would be required to fight for a future that has already come and gone."

When historians made the joke that history tended to repeat itself, there was actually truth in it. For any given set of initial conditions, there tended to be a limited distribution of timelines that followed a sort of "theme" for the universe. Of course, there were plenty of variations, but those variations did not appear until thousands of years had gone by.

In the meantime however, it appeared that Aurum was still lacking purpose in his new world. An understandable problem when one was thrust into an unfamiliar environment. Experience may give you an opinion, but like a new job, it was pretty hard to get acclimated, even if you were feeling comfortable with your local environment. Aurora smiled.

"Is that so, Justicar? If you wish for purpose, I would certainly be happy to give it to you...although you may find it more prudent to seek that purpose on your own. Perhaps I could start you on your journey?"

"Delicious Irony. Like Clotted Blood." Aurum stated. His eyes turned to Aurora. She looked.. Almost like an Inquisitor from his time, just with out a hat. Shaking off that thought he looked back at the fountain.

It moved just as life did around him, the leaves of trees, the grass and every thing that moved and breathed. Aurum turned his full body to Aurora. Was that a challenge? He had no true calling now. Nothing to keep him sane or even busy. Not even teaching could help him.

Besides if he had started his own 'Marine' course. He would probably kill the students first. Or have one survivor of the course and he would train that kid in weird combat styles... And have the child die that way. His only explanation would be 'They couldn't take it.'

"I'd like to go about it myself, to see things. Travel this world. I wish to see some of the Ages that have transpired here in the past. Record what I see with my own eye onto paper."

He said palming the ledger. If he was ever just sent back to the future. He could regale his brothers with stories of the past of holy Terra. About peace. With his own words. Though this wasn't true peace. It worked. Though something he wanted to do was test his skills against Aurora. To see how powerful a Chakravanti truly was.

"Dangerously clotted. But don't think about it too much, your world isn't even supposed to exist for another 38,000 years or so. Time is a weird thing, nobody really knows exactly how it's supposed to work. Safe to say right now though that your future no longer exists for the moment...depressing as it might be."

In a sense, Aurora was in fact prodding at Aurum, trying to start a little bit of a fight, although the two were remaining quite civil about it so far. But she was about to start poking and prodding until he actually did something. Aurora's eyes leveled with him, pricking and prodding.

"I would love for you to see the world, but right now, all you're seeing is a fountain in the middle of a schoolyard. Why don't you teach or something? I'm certain a man of your experience would have something to share with the students...or are you afraid that that experience would be too much for them? Because I assure you, it's not."

There was a coy grin on Aurora's face. Although maybe not evident in her words, the tone was slightly mocking. Not maliciously so, but in a way that would possibly cause an argument or worse. Aurum needed a little push. Maybe this was the way to get it.

"Well, I will deal with what I have, better I accept this fate then become that which I sought out to destroy I think. Either way, it's something I will deal with or die trying."

Aurum was trying to keep his patience as she was looking into his eye. Though his one eye kept moving in and out on her, scanning her finally, thought the clothes were odd, it was too familiar. This wasn't something he wanted to deal with.

"Then explain why students 'mysteriously vanish?' I deemed most students are far too fond of their powers they neglect their own physical might. My training would train a body, but to do so. I need to break them. Push them to the point and keep them going."

Aurum said with a smirk on his face. He was enjoying this little fight of the minds, though Aurum was more prone to fights than Aurora. Aurum was someone who after a point could probably sit down and fight someone through rage.

"Though your attempts to undermine my strength are.. Very peculiar Aurora. I do wish that your power's isn't the only things that are honed."

He said taking off his gloves and taking off his suit jacket and placing it on a tree branch so that way it wouldn't get dirty. His gloves were placed into his pockets as he cracked his neck.

"It's unlikely you will die here. Certainly there is a higher instance of unintended death, but I believe you'll be just fine. As for your students, be up front with them. I believe their resilience will surprise even you."

There was many a student that had surprised Aurora. A few people liked to swim in the middle of the lake during winter, a feat that usually was suicidal to most normal humans. The only difference was that very few people on the island were "just human." Aurora's own strength was there, but it was rarely used. The forces and life sphere of magic was something she could use...but was not as well versed as many of her students.

"Remember that students here don't have to contend with just humans. They contend sometimes with the very fabric of reality. Physical might doesn't often help in these situations...but I do admit it can help."

Aurora got herself ready, although she didn't move quite yet. Unlike Aurum, who had taken off his gloves, Thirteen donned a pair of black gloves that matched her coat.

"I don't suspect strength may be too much a problem, I tend to be a pretty lucky fighter, and a timely one as well."

Aurora looked over Aurum's shoulder while she pointed at a spot behind him. It was no trick. By the time he realized it wasn't, a swift blow to the back with a telescopic baton would have hit him. If he DID turn around, he would find Aurora lunging quite quickly at him with the same baton...although how she had gotten behind him would remain something of a mystery.

Although Aurora would no doubt be bloodied after this fight...Aurum would find a much more difficult opponent than first expected.

"So long as I die a warriors death, with my blade in my hands, I care naught for death. I embrace it death, I saved my victories of over a thousand combats, so when they when all hope is lost. I may call upon it to lend me strength to fight to my dying breath."

Aurum closed his eyes for a moment and began to chant in a language even odd to Aurora, or any human, this was common amongst his brothers to chant before a battle started, even if it was between brothers. He wouldn't save the chance to recall his brothers chanting as one, the same prayer, the same lines with their mind and soul.

Aurum opened his eye as his blue bionic eye wired to life and glowed a beautiful blue from the dull one from before. As if to intimidate.

"A body can break before the mind, with out the body the mind has nothing but a shell. It cannot move, or do anything. Which allows for nothing to be done. Should the mind be stronger than the body. Or else. I may look into training them then."

Aurum was giving thought to creating a way to use his training, what he got from his Master, to use on the students. Enough to deal with what the students can do. Nothing else, no secrets. Just facts.

"Luck is nothing compared to a Justicar!"

As she pointed Aurum put his fists up and noticed the lock on was gone, as well as he had something hit his back that felt more like someone trying to hit him with a hammer and so was Aurora was gone as well. He turned around to see Aurora come at him WITH some kind of Baton.

A weapon? How cute.

Aurum waited for the last possible moment when his left arm attempted grabbed the baton arm of Aurora and the his right hand would grab a portion of he clothes and he would toss her into the air. His mental shield closing for a moment as he chanted the Prayer of Hammer hand.

The last line he shouted out.

"I. Am. His. Zeal." His hands turned into a blazing blue as Aurora got closer his pulled one fist back, if she didn't move, this MIGHT hurt a little. Though Aurix was taming his power for this, he did not wanted to hurt Aurora.

Aurora had started with the baton for the sole reason of making sure she didn't cause permanent injuries to an opponent that she had no idea of the capabilities of. Of course there was little chance that injury would occur to the walking tank, but it always was better to be safer than sorry with someone new.

Although frankly, she might have taken things a little too easy with how fast Aurum was getting into the groove of things. The baton had done just about nothing...sure, it might of hurt a little, but against a being that had seen hundreds of years of combat, a club was not going to do much.

And for a time, it almost looked as though the mage would pay the price for being so lenient on her assault; but knowing your opponent was of course half the battle. Possible three-quarters in Aurora's case. When she had done her previous work, most of her attacks had been something rather personalized. Of course, planning wasn't much good here, but at least there were a few things she could do...especially now that Aurum had effectively rendered paradox a null point by fighting with his abilities first.

"Your zeal means nothing when your deity does not exist."

On falling, something rather...strange happened. A small gust of wind picked up, and instead of being slammed by the force of ten tigers, Aurora practically rolled off his fist, whipping her baton into his head twice with more power than her last blow. Although the hits weren't guaranteed, he'd probably be wondering what was happening by now.

"That looked like it should have hurt...guess I got lucky."
