Beatrice closes her eyes again. Come on, old man, we know this crap already. This is the third time you've taught it to us. Stay cool, B. You never know. She sighs and starts a low purr. She loved the seat she had. In the middle of the room, in the gossip, and in the sun. Perfect spot for catnapping.

"Miss Snoch, and the answer to those three equations added together times twelve and divided by six is..?" The teacher said. He was a tall, skinny man, with brown hair and wiry glasses. Gray puffs of lint stuck to his clothes, and every now and then, you could see an electrical shock fly through his hair. His nickname was Mr. Static.

"Thirty-seven, Mr. Static-- Err, Stalic." Her tail flicks out of the waist of her pants and flicks around lazily and her purr grows louder. People around her start to snicker, and Mr. Stalic slams a ruler against his desk. "SILENCE!" Beatrice doesn't move. A few of the kids jump, and Beatrice rests on head on her hand.

Eyes narrowed, Noah stared at the girl who just happened to be sitting in front of him. They'd met once before on the beach, and it had ended in him disliking her somewhat. His arms were currently folded over his chest while he attempted to listen, but her constant noise was proving to be a great hindrance to that plan.

She wasn't even reacting to being told to be quiet, ugh. If she wanted to sleep and waste her life, couldn't she at least do so quietly? Although it probably wouldn't be the most mature thing to do, Noah couldn't resist the urge to kick the back of her chair - so, he didn't. Kicking his leg out, he aimed right for the back of her chair, a scowl sweeping over his features.

"Some of us are trying to listen, even if you aren't," he said.

Beatrice sighs and cracks her eyes open. Watching this man was like watching a bad movie. The same thing over and over again, yet it got more annoying each time. She needed to get out of her.

Her ears twitch, and she smirks. Her tail flicks back and starts batting itself at Noah's face. I love being a cat. No you don't. But it is slightly amusing. Human men are so fun to play with. I must agree. Her smiles fades and she lulls into her cat-nap again. She was half asleep, but the awake part of her was sharp and listening.

Oh, the joys of being a cat.
