Pandora laughed when Raheal mentioned the necklace. She had in fact given it to Shay to hold onto, but that was for fear of losing it. During those last couple of hours she had come to an understanding. She wasn't going to make it out of that maze alive. There was no way to know how she knew that, or why even. It had just been something that she had become aware of and peacefully accepted. Had she kept the necklace there was no telling where it might have ended up. Lost in the cornfield, or perhaps in the stomach of a zombie. And even if it had remained on her body what then? There was also the fact that when Pandora where to die, she would pass through the gates of hell. The necklace contained a soul that had not been judged, and therefore could not pass through those very gates. There was no telling where it might have ended up.

"Aye reaper... I did indeed pass that soul onto Shay to hold till I came back." She had left her directions for Shay in such a Vague manner as well. There was no way for anyone to know she could regenerate, and as far as the girl knew, she was to hold the necklace till the fight was done. No one but Pandora knew what would happen. Still though, the necklace itself had returned to Pandora in the most unique of ways. Not long after arriving she received a letter delivered right to her as she lay in her apartment. It had no note, and no indication of where it came from, but inside was the necklace. It was funny how a magical postal system could figure out she was back before she even mustered up the energy to tell anyone.

Pandora took a second puffing out her chest, and exposing her bust. Her hand running up over her curves and coming to stop over the necklace that Raheal had given her. "It was too precious to risk losing out there."

Few people here would have been able to recognize Chloe. But she wasn't wearing a glamour. Before she lived in a world with Glamours, she had spent a lot of time thinking about how she could pass as a human, and today she was turning that theory into practice. She was wearing a hoop skirt, with a long enough dress to conceal her legs and tail entirely. The dress itself followed a black-and-white color scheme, which matched her black volto mask perfectly. She was also wearing a large victorian-era hat which covered her horns.

She had just gotten here. She had gone to all this trouble not to be recognized, and now she wanted to be recognized by one person in particular. She stood alone, in silence, staring at the spider-woman and her partner.

Was that...?

It couldn't be. Could it?

Chloe walked closer, still staring. The closer she got, and the more she was able to hear, the clearer it was. She got close enough to reach out and touch her shoulder.

"Pandora?" Her voice cracked.

She smiled again, holding her necklace for a moment when another voice caught her ear. This one was smaller than many of the others. It was sweet and young. Younger than many of the people she associated with regularly. It also wasn't angry or afraid, which really only meant it could be one person. Chloe, the lovely little demoness that Pandora had recently taken on as a pet. "Excuse me Raheal..." She said turning to catch a glimpse of the masked woman beside her.

Pandora stood for a moment smiling at the girl. Despite the fact that her face was hidden she was still able to recognize her, though it was mostly due to her voice. "Yes... And who might you be?" She said playfully knowing full well who it was.

"It's Chloe."

She stood there for another few seconds before lunging forward and hugging Pandora. Her breath spasmed. She started to cry underneath her mask.

"I was starting to plan a funeral for you. Ever since I got out of the hospital. It would have been in a couple of weeks." Chloe was still able to speak clearly through the tears, much to her own surprise.

Raheal watched them but he was more focused on the voice in his head. Raheal I know about Pandora. So you finally learned you do have emotion hm? I am sorry...my dear horseman. I should have told you when I was able too but I was merely trying to get my mind off of losing her. But......I understand if you shall punish me for my feelings for her. The voice was silent for a long moment.... I am not mad. Raheal you are like a son to me, all of the original reapers are. If you truly love Pandora you may continue to love her and even be her lover. But try not to let it distract you from your work. Also. I sent you a gift......make sure to use it correctly. I'm thinking of wanting grandchildren. The voice, who was obviously Death, laughed in Raheal's mind before stopping. Raheal looked at his hand after feeling a sudden shift in weight. It was skin. His hand was covered in skin. Infact his entire body was making organs and becoming covered in muscle and then skin. Raheal smiled, his horseman had given him a vessel. Raheal spoke quitely to himself. "Thank you horseman."

A moment later and Pandora was locked in another tight embrace. all she could do now was smile as she hugged the girl back. it was nice to feel wanted for a change. So long she had been shooed from place to place, pushed away, but it seemed here that she was actually wanted, and had been genuinely missed. If not by all then by a select few.

"A funeral!?! For me?..." She wasn't sure how to respond to something like that. She had now in part been curious to how it would have gone, and almost wished she would have come back later so as to attend it herself. But. Perhaps that was not the best of choices. "Chloe my dear that is.. An incredibly sweet sentiment... I'm sure it would have been wonderful." She stood a few moments holding onto Chloe before speaking again. "Don't you worry though. Mama will always come back for you." She said with a whisper.

He smiled under his mask, as they approached the dance floor, not wanting to be a burden he adjudged to where he carried his own weight. He gently pulled her close and began to dance, he was very skilled at it, it was another skill his mother had taught.

"Thank you," he knew his British accent was showing a bit more than usual, "you caring means a lot." It had taken time for him to get used to having people actually care, two years or torture and experiments had made him almost forget what it was like.

He leaned forward a bit looking into her eyes, "not sure what I did to deserve such an amazing girlfriend," he meant every word, it could be heard in the tone of his voice and in how the glow of his eyes softened.

He flinched ever so slightly as a bit of pain shot threw his leg, he was good at ignoring pain so he was able to keep dancing without a hitch. He smiled through it all, happy to be there with her, "you look beautiful, I know I look a bit wierd in my outfit."

Held tight in Pandora's embrace, Chloe was able to calm herself. When she got into this relationship with Pandora, she didn't think it was going to be so serious or important to her. It was all physical, wasn't it? And yet for the last week she almost felt like a member of her family had died.

It might have had something to do with how Pandora made Chloe call her 'Mama.'
Chloe was breathing normally again now, though the underside of her mask had gotten wet with tears. "I'm glad that you're back."

The hug ended, and Chloe stepped back, no longer leaning into the spider woman. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else she ought to say. Pandora's return to life was still overwhelming her. She defaultd to small talk. "So... I hope you're enjoying the party so far. Do you like my disguise?"
