Everto shook his head when she asked about him having a family.
"I can't even remember them." he said, though not sadly. How could you miss something you can't even rember having?

Everto shrugged. He did, sort-of, but he'd abandoned his emotions for so long he barely remembered a mother's love.
"I suppose I had a mother once. But from what I can remember, and have found through my research, I ran away."

Everto shook his head. "No. As far as I can gather, shortly after I left something happened and I forgot all about, well, everything. And I've been this way ever since." he added defiantly.

A screeching was heard within the hallways of the school, then a large banging on the door. "MARINE! Gah!" Brianna rushed over to her little sister. "What in the world? Are you okay? What happened? Who DID this to you?" Her glance moved from her little siter to the boy standing next to her. "Did you have something to do with this?"

"What? Well sorry, someone told me you were hurt, and that you had gotten into a fight.
Do you want me to leave?! FINE!" Brianna stormed out of the room and headed towards the lawn.
