Jen frowned. "That... isn't good. Not at... at all." she said, trying not to stutter. Too late, he probably knows you can't help it. If he is still being nice by now, than he probably doesn't care. she thought with a small smile. "Well, Caedo-kun, I have to go. Unless you need anything from me, I need to leave."

Caedo nodded, ignoring her stutter. "See you around sometime?" He was already planning to get her locket... He wanted it, and would do whatever he needed to to get it. Smiling, he watched her meander slowly down the hall before heading out to the lake.

"Sure!" Jen called back, waving as she walked out the door. Well, there's one more. At least I'm not an outcast, like some of the people here. I actually have friends! If Mum were here, she would be proud. she fingered the locket and put it back under her shirt. I'm going to like this school year.
