Caedo was waiting outside the Hospital Wing, waiting for Marine. He had no doubt she would come looking for him, and he was ready. He had beaten Everto, he could no doubt beat her just as easily. Let's see, my little one, just how well-matched you are to him. He leant casually against the wall, observing her through cold eyes. The barest hint of a smirk played across his face as he held his sheathed blade loosely in one hand.

"So," the contempt in his voice was as obvious as the boredom in his eyes. "The little girl comes at last. I'm been waiting for you." Easily pushing hemself from the wall, he flicked at an invisible piece of dust on his shoulder. All his actions thus far had showed an unconcerned approach to her, obviously infuriated, presence. He allowed his blue-green eyes to travel showly over her.

{Sall right.}

Marine smiled evily. "Little girl, eh? You wish." she disappeared. Actually, she wasn't invisible, she was a flea. Heh, just like old days. she thought. Hopping onto Caedo and eventually on his head, she giggled. Fleas were microscophic, right?
She was planning to turn into something very, very heavy. But it have to fit into the hallway... She had it.
Now she had to visulize it. Gold color, lean, jumps good, big teeth, big feet, small ears and eyes... long tail.
She had it!

((I'm gonna let you post before she crushes him XD))

((But, I can edit it if you think its too goddmodding... Which is your choice.))

As the weight of the lion came crashing down on him, Caedo felt his sword slip out of his grasp. Darn! Without his sword, he couldn't really do much with his ice abilities. He could throw snowballs, but that was about it. At least, it was about all he was used to doing. His metallic blade helped focus his power, though he didn't quite know why. Picturing himself covered in ice, Caedo did his best not to move under the weight of the lion as a thin icy coating formed on his skin. As it got thicker, Caedo realised he had forgotten one crucial thing: he hadn't given himself room to breathe! Struggling to break the ice while avoiding the lion's - the girl's - massive claws, he fought to get to his feet.

Marine tried her hardest to break through the ice. "Come... out... wimp." she called out, cracking the ice in one section,and scratching at the skin beaneath. She was only trying to scratch, not murder. Thus, her strikes hardly even went deep. She leaped off and turned around, his sword was behind her. When she put her weight on it, it snapped in two. She waited for his move.

Finally on his feet after the ice was broken, arms badly scratched and even a long red cut running across his cheek, Caedo saw his blade snap under the lion's weight. Knowing that he had no chance of winning without it, he threw all he had at Marine. As the whirlwind of ice and snow - and just cold air, even - made it's way alarmingly fast towards Marine, Caedo turned and ran. He wasn't running very fast - he was so exhausted - but he hoped it would be fast enough. He was running, and he wasn't even looking where he was going. He ran - litterally - straight into a girl who had been walking down the hall.

Marine purred when the 'big bad icestorm' hit her and let Caedo run. She (with a large grin on her face, walked back into the hospital wing. It had cooled her off. So Mr.Caedo finally met his match. she thoguht as she sat down next to Everto's bed, sighing in content.

Jen (who had been walking back towards the door of the academy) happened to be the girl who Caedo ran into. She had looked up just in time to see a boy running straight at her. He was close, and Jen didn't have enough time to react, so she could only brae herself. She blushed a deep red as she fell and the boy fell on top off her. "OH! I... I'm sorry. I... I didn't seeyou untill... untill..." Jen didn't finish her sentence. A drop of blood dripped onto her cheek and her eyes went wide. "Your... your bleeding, aren't you? Do... do you want me to make it more comfortable for... for you, or... or did you come... come from the hospital wing?"

The girl's words were met with a cold glare, until Caedo realised that he might be able to use her, possibly for revenge. Immediately he softened his expression. Getting to his feet, he put out his hand to help her up, if she wanted it. Brushing his blood off her cheek, he apologised, his voice soft and kindly. "No, thankyou, I have just come from the Hospital Wing. It's just a scratch, I'll be fine. But what about you? I didn't hurt you, did I? I'm so sorry, I should have been looking where I was going." Smiling warmly he continued speaking. "What's your name? I'm Caedo Moestitia." He hoped she hadn't heard of him already. If she had... well, if she had he'd deal with that.

Jen looked down at the floor as he brushed blood of her sheek. She was still red, of course, and her locket had turned up on top of her shirt instead of below it, and it was glistening in the artificial light of the hallway. She looked up and smiled shyly. "I'm... I'm sorry. It was... it was my fault. I'm... I'm Jen. Nice to... Nice to meet you, Caedo-kun." she looked at his arm. "Are you... are you sure you'll be... be ok?" a bit of worry showing on her face for mere seconds, then dispearing into the redness.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Caedo's eyes flicked momentarily to the locket as it caught the light. Interesting... Very interesting... Shifting his eyes back to the girl's - Jen's, he reminded himself, Jen's. I'f you're going to use this girl you might as well use her name. - face, he smiled again. He wasn't used to all this smiling. "So, Jen," He said the name slowly. There was really only two names he used on a regular basis: his own, and his arch enemy's. It was rather strange, using this girl's name. "What are you powers?"

Jen smiled. "I have control over water... and... and I can sometimes turn into it... but only if I really need to. What are your powers, Caedo-kun?" she said and asked, her redness slowly disappearing. I have another friend! I'm so excited! she thought. So, this is what having many friends is like. I feel warmth again. Mum's leaving no longer follows me like a shodow. I am.... liked...
