Each of the winners would find themselves approached by a particularly active squirrel the evening after the end of the scavenger hunt, flagging them down and delivering an invitation.

The gathering would happen Saturday, midday, in the woods. When they reached the clearing, they'd find a rather large--four feet tall--squirrel with a tophat.

It was a strange, strange look, but anyone who'd attended any of the Twelve's events would be familiar. September of the Twelve was a very common sight at every single gathering.

"Welcome, winners!"

Alma couldn't fly to the event because it was midday and the sun was out. She grumbled a bit at it but it was fine. She'd worked hard and this was what she had worked hard for.

She arrived in her usual style, kicking the dust off of her boots and making sure that she had her sun screen and blood thermos packed adequately in her messenger bag.

"Hello, Mr. September!"

Riley was delighted to see that she was one of the award winners. She was practically skipping on her way to the clearing, delighted that all her hard work had paid off. She was getting a prize!

"Hi September!" She grinned. "I won this one!"

She remembered feeling a little sour about how the last competition went, with her team feeling like it did so well, but not winning a thing. But then, with what Angelo got out of his wish, she didn't feel that bad. And Dalia had something important to wish for too. Riley hadn't even known what she wanted to do with a wish.

Either way, she couldn't wait to meet March. And maybe even see one or two of the others. She really liked the Twelve, and she was glad that she had done something to impress them.

Ganymede would show up with Monday, to cheer him on and support him. He insisted on it once he knew there was an award ceremony. Plus, he might get to meet some of the Twelve Gods again, which was a little exciting.

Riley didn't really expect to win, he didn't really expect anything. He headed to the meeting place not reaaaally sure what to expect other than those squirrels. He was glad that he did win despite literally only doing the scavenger hunt to waste time.

Riley arrived and looked just about exhausted ad he does every day. Other than the squirrels and their supreme squirrel lord, he spotted God of Destruction Riley and Alma of The Student Council. So he guessed they were the top three out of whoever else played.
"Uh, hey y'all?"

Monday arrived at the clearing with Ganymede, who had insisted that Monday go despite the witch's baffled hesitation. Monday was absolutely sure he had not done that well on the hunt, simply because he was someone who didn't venture too far from the shop and didn't quite know the island as well as he probably should.

Walking toward the spot where the other contestants were standing, he glanced back at Ganymede and gave him a tiny nod and smiled, very grateful that his foster son had wanted to come along. Still slightly bemused, Monday came to stop a few meters before the rather large top-hatted squirrel and greeted the others standing there politely.

Mr. September waved at the people as they arrived, giving Riley-the-girl a special tip of his hat. "Yes, you're all nerds. You had the smarts to see through March's puzzles. Speaking of the runt..."

The large squirrel squinted around the area for the other god.

As if on cue a figure stepped out of a bush behind everyone. A male faun, appearing roughly like a teenager in apparent age, stood there with furry goat's legs. He was shirtless and his curly brown mop of hair was adorned with antlers made of living wood. A bouquet of freshly blooming flowers crowned his head.

"Not all of them won. One of them brought a friend," came the soft voice of March as he glanced at Ganymede and Monday. "But I think it's ok."

March cleared his throat and stepped forward a bit more.
"Through twisting riddles you've thought,
And obscure clues you've all sought.
Left candy for a kid or water for runners parched.
And now you stand, meeting me- the god March"

Very visibly pleased with himself for the impromptu rhyming, March beamed and then looked at each of the winners. "Now before I say who did the best of you all. I want you to really think about what you would like. Because all of the winners here will get a wish from us tonight."

A wish. Oh man, Alma wasn't ready for a wish. What did she even want? Her life was pretty good as it stood. Her gut instinct was to try and do something nice for someone else: like Mom. But part of Alma hesitated on that.

She had worked hard. She had run around and done all of those riddles. She had refused help that she probably wouldn't have been penalized for using. No, this was her victory and she was going to be just a little selfish with it.

Alma opened her mouth, then shut it again. This process repeated several times as she figured out precisely what she wanted to wish for. Finally she figured it out and vocalized it.

"I, well... I'd like to be able to change my shape."

March turned to Alma, looking a little surprised that she'd already come up with what she wanted. "O-oh, that was fast. But I don't think it'll be too much to do for our second place sleuth, Alma Malivani." The faun smiled at her and reached over to one of the bushes he had stepped out of. Now blooming with flowers from his presence. A single pink flower was plucked and he carefully handed it to her, shaking her other hand at the same time.

"I suppose we should do this in order so... our third place winner is... actually a tie between Mr. Monday and Riley... Rivers. You know, I didnt know Riley was so common a name."

March plucked two more flowers, the same pink as the one given to Alma, and held them out towards them. "You can tell me your wish in private if you prefer."

Riley watched March randomly pop out a bush and of course he was a faun.

Riley stayed silent for the most part. He was thinking reaaally hard but was just coming up with blanks. Ms. Student Council already seemed to know what she wanted which was all nice and dandy for her. "Trying to figure out what to wish for is like another riddle..."

It's not that he couldn't think of anything he wanted, Riley just didn't have a wish. "I don't have a wish. Can you just give it to someone else who needs it or some shit?" If he could great but that just opens up another problem of who to give it to.

"It is like another riddle! And it's one only you can solve," he beamed at Riley. Offering him a flower and a handshake even though he wasn't sure what to wish for.

"How about... I give you until tomorrow. To figure out a wish or decide who you want to give it to?" March fidgeted a little and kicked at the dirt with one of his hooves. He wasn't sure if he could really give the wish away. Maybe... if he wished it on their behalf?
