Monday was extremely intrigued when he heard that they got a wish. In fact, his palms were sweating and his heart had sped up a tad. He already knew what he'd wish for, it was a no-brainer for anyone that knew him, or his coven.

And now he might have the real possibility of getting rid of them. Something that had never entered into his mind until now, and as he thought about it while March spoke to Riley, he found himself looking at Ganymede. If March could remove his curses, well, Monday could safely bring Ganymede as well as Candle ... or anyone for that matter into his life. The possibilities of, well, everything if that was possible almost made the witch dizzy with hope.

"I was wondering if maybe, you could possibly lift or take away my curses, Mr. March?" he asked the god politely, and with great hope. Monday had spent his whole life cursed, had watched those he loved be taken away from him because of them, and the mere possibility of removing the curses was something he was not going to pass up.

Oh no, March was pretty. Riley, the younger and female Riley, was a little flustered when he beamed at her.

The flustering only intensified when he mentioned how common her name was. Maybe this was the breaking point - she needed a new name for people to call her. That wasn't going to be her wish, of course. She'd already come up with something much better for that.

Gears turned in her head after March announced who was in second place, and then the tie for third place. That meant, by process of elimination, she was the big winner! She looked at September, then at March, and then made a little jump for joy. Well, maybe more of a tiny hop. It felt wrong to have her little victory celebration in earnest before March actually announced she was number 1. She could wait her turn.

Ganymede was a little intimidated by the gods, in all honesty. And he felt a little uncomfortable when March pointed out he was an outlier because he didn't win.

When it was announced that Monday could get a wish, Ganymede already knew what that would mean. He gasped, and his face lit up with excitement. Monday was going to lose the curses! If anyone could make it happen, gods could! Right?

He looked between March and Monday, overwhelmed, watching in particular for March's reaction.

March rubbed at one of his antlers in anxious thought and looked at Monday closely. "Curses can be tricky. And you have more than one? Maybe we should chat in private later." He smiled but there was that lingering hint of nervousness in his face. March did though offer the flower and handshake to Monday too.

And then his smile widened again as the faun looked back towards the other Riley, flustered as she might be. "And finally, our resident riddler herself. Riley Keegan. You solved the most puzzles so you win a wish... and another gift too." March stepped back into the bush to retrieve another flower, this time orange, and something else.

On what appeared to be a simple red wagon March wheeled out a pristine stuffed boar head mounted and preserved from a hunt. The intimidating face and tusks were balanced out by the ring of orange flowers crowning it. Similar to how March's own flowers bloomed.

"So first things first," he said as he extended one hand to shake Riley's and the other holding the flower he'd plucked. "This trophy comes straight from my own hunting. Whatever home you put it in draws springtime sooner than the rest of the world. Plants will bloom earlier and snow will melt quicker around it. Like having spring come a month early for you every year."

Riley just accepted the flower and handshake from March. So he has until tomorrow to give the wish to someone eh, he'll figure it all out before then. Well there didn't seem like there was much else to this meeting, winners announced and prizes were handed out.

And with that in mind, he was going to bounce.

Monday just nodded in understanding and accepted the flower and shook the faun's hand. He had had a feeling that it was too good to be true that someone would be able to lift his curses. Glancing then at Ganymede, he gave a tiny shrug as the god moved on to Riley.

Ganymede looked a little bit disappointed. When he turned to Monday, he gave a hopeful smile, but not quite as hopeful or excited as he might have been. He could read the way March felt about the problem.

But, oh well. Even if only one curse was removed, that would still be incredible. It was much better than anything they could have expected from this.

Riley, on the other hand, was elated, and she wasn't going to let Monday . She was getting another flower, and it was a different color! Did that mean she got a more powerful wish?

And March also brought out... a boar head.

She was confused by it at first. It was impressive-looking, don't get her wrong, but it wasn't really her kind of thing. But whatever! March might be surprised by the enthusiasm behind her handshake. Her other hand took the flower.

Her excitement grew again when he explained the blessing the trophy would bring her - early spring! She wouldn't need to go out and clear snow with friggin' Caius as much, and she'd get to play outside earlier. "That's awesome! Thank you!"

And then, "...I'll tell you about my wish after everything else is done, okay?" Riley was sure they could do it. It wasn't that different from what she heard one of November's boons was like.

March shifted a little as Monday and Ganymede seemed a little less thrilled. That was a little disheartening, even if they were trying to hide the disappointment from him.

The boy Riley even seemed to be leaving already and March frowned a little as he headed out. "Oh... but I didn't... tell you my boons yet..." Well, he'd just have to make sure the others heard them.

Riley the girl on the other hand was plenty excited though and it was extremely appreciated. Even if her handshake was way more emphatic than he was prepared for. March wasn't weak, but this girl sure had one heck of a handshake. He beamed at her enthusiasm and passed the handle for the wagon over to her.

March's flowered head nodded at Riley in understanding as he replied warmly, "oh, of course. We can talk about your wish privately." Phew, that was all done for now at least. He didn't want them to have to share their wishes out loud if it was something private.

The faun gave everyone a moment to settle down a bit and then smiled once more at all of them. "Ahem," he cleared his throat, "I should probably announce my boons too before I have to go again. Can you all do me a favor and help spread the word please?" His innocent eyes implored them to help even though they were in no way obligated to do so.

"First, I noticed some poor kids getting lost in the woods. I can't always be there to help in person, but a pretty white stag will appear to lead people out of the woods if they are lost. And for my second boon, I want to reward my fellow hunters. Storing a piece of antler where meat is kept will make it take twice as long to spoil. But only for meat that has been obtained from a hunt."
