Private Finished Lunchtime with yours truly

”Prickly?” The girl slowly reached for the napkin. “Eein doesn’t seem prickly. He’s the nicest person she’s met! He’s so kind and taught Kueria so many things! Kueria is very happy to have met Eein.” Lightly dabbing her nose with the tissue, she relaxed her shoulders as she regained her composure.

“Kueria got a new dorm teacher!” Taking a qick bite of her food, she gulped it down as she thought of how to explain her roooming situation. “Kueria has been rooming alone for a while but now she’s going to move in with a few people! Someone called Shiro, Ye Wen and S... Sumi?” Chuckling lightly, she sheepishly scratcher her head as she continued. “Kueria’s not good with names. Anyway, she’s super exited to meet new people!” Pausing, the girl went silent for a few moments. Wings drooping ever so slightly as her tone quavered, she then asked: “Does Eein think they’ll find Kueria weird?”

”Kueria thinks Eein doesn’t get grumpy easily though! When Kueria first met Eein she pecked him in his sleep but he didn’t yell at her!” Come to think of it, he has always been nice to her, even when she was a mere stranger.

The girl’s wings perked up as he reassured her, tightly clinging onto the edge of her shoulders before unfurling themselves. “Really?!” Her lips curled into a radiating beam as she bobbed in elation. “Thanks, Kueria will do her best to not be so scared!”

Kueria simply could not pass up on the idea of more ice cream. Finishing up her half eaten meal, she then exclaimed “Kueria would love more ice cream! Is there such thing as cookie ice cream?” Indeed, the fae still had not gotten over her odd cookie obsession, not since she took her first bite.

“Kueria realized she has talked a lot and forgot to ask how Eein was! How is school? Are Eein’s friends as nice as Eein?”

Kueria blushed as she cupped her face once again, this time not losing her composure as much as before. "Kueria would love to cheer Eein up! She loves seeing her friends smile, especially Eein!"

The girl gasped as she was introduced to the wonders of cookie flavored ice cream. Bouncing in her seat, she excitedly exclaimed: "Can Kueria try one scoop of each? Ice cream is amazing, it's almost better than food!"

She lightly placed her palms faced down on the table as she intently listened to him speak. "Eein's friends sound amazing! Are they also in Starlight Academy? Did Eein meet them through a club? Kueria was wandering what club she should join... maybe a performing arts club but she's not so sure..." Pausing, her lips formed the slightest pout as she continued "If Kueria ever performs would Eein like to come and watch?"

Somehow, it felt as though the entire restaurant went silent as she continued to fixate herself on her friend. A bright and pretty smile huh? She yearned to continue smiling, if for nothing, for him. A slight blush touched her cheeks as she leaned in a little. "Kueria thinks she'll love the ice cream too but she loves spending time with Eein even more! Kueria would be honoured if Eein ever saw her perform."

As the waiter placed the ice cream before them, she immediately slid her bowl closer to her as she took a scoop. Letting her grin widen, she indulged in the sweet taste of cold cookies. It was an explosion of flavour, no, more than that, it was a match made by the hands of God himself. "The ice cream is amazing! Kueria loves it more than she thought she would!" Her wings flapped in excitement as she continued to eat her ice cream like a ravenous child - until a sharp pain struck her from within her skull. Dropping her spoon, she placed her right palm atop her head as she winced. "A... cold headache?" she whispered, her words laced with confusion as she continued to press against her head in a futile attempt to numb the pain.

Within a few moments, the headache went as quickly as it came. Glancing up, she tilted her head to a side as she asked: "What was that?"

Those words echoed in her mind for a few moments as her smile brightened into a beam. "Thanks Eein! Eein will be the first to know if Kueria ever performs. She's very grateful that Eein wants to see her sing!" Settling down, she nodded her head as she slowed her pace in consuming her ice cream until she finally finished it within a few minutes.

"Kueria had an amazing time at lunch too, Kueria will save up to pay for the next lunch okay!" Pausing, she tilted her head up as she thought of different lunch ideas. "Or maybe Kueria could cook for Eein!" Standing up, she skipped over to Eein's side of the table and pulled him into a light embrace. A small beat of nostalgia resonated within her as she wrapped her arms round his shoulders. Taking in a slow, soft inhale, she spoke once again, her voice dipping into a slightly lower pitch.

"Thank you so much for spending time with me."
