"Naw, juice would be gross," Adeloise pointed out, "First off, it'd be toos sticky and that'd be really uncomfortable. You'd need to have to go through the trouble of getting changed out of your clothes and then have it cleaned immediately so it wouldn't stain." Thank you, Stella, she added in her thoughts. No one would have really believed that she just discovered this on her own anyway.
Adrien chuckled softly at Stefan's gesture before whispering something to the girl next to him. "Adrien thinks you're a funny kid," Adeloise echoed for the ghost. "And I think the better word for it is that they're comfortable sort of friends; since the formalities and stuff are just tossed out the window because who needs to be all stiff and boring, am I right?" There was a snicker that Adeloise seemed to stifle but cleared her throat instead. "I did say he was a poltergeist, though. I mean, I'm not saying that Adrien would be like that for sure but poltergeists can really mess with people so they are kind of one of the last few spirits you shouldn't pick a fight with."
Adeloise seemed to take the time to finish sipping her drink, thoughtfully drilling her gaze onto the table all while her ears stayed on the conversation--or rather, Stefan's rambling. She had to stifle another snicker, then fixed a dramatic look paired with clasping her hands together in front of her, "You would do that? My hero!" Other than her voice was pitched higher, the bad acting was an obvious sign that she wasn't even serious.
As Stefan went on to speak about his powers, the smile on Adeloise's face seemed to soften feeling some amount of pity for the boy. Despite the smile, Adeloise felt like she needed to give him a pat on the head so she did. Slightly hoisting herself up off her seat she reached over the table to ruffle his hair lightly, "Hey, you're getting better and that's what counts so don't get all dramatic now, okay?"
