He smiled and said, 'Cool.' Then he leaned over in his chair, and tried to catch the waiters eye. When he finally did, he said, 'I'll have the club sandwich, and she.' He said gesturing to Katie. 'Will have the hamburger deluxe.' He smiled to the waitress as she left, then hear.

Oh come off it. He looked around the room, and saw a lot of couples sitting together. He sat up stiffly as he realized that Katie and him must look like a couple too. Glancing at Katie, he looked away quickly, and grabbed the breakfast menu. Hiding his face behind it while making it seem like he was reading.

'Oh.' He said. Then he smiled. 'Sure!' He continued to smile, and then the waiter came back with their food. 'Thank you.' He said the waiter. Then he looked back to Katie. 'So. We're going to the dance together.' He said it out loud so he would believe it himself.
