It had been a while since Anterpas started her first day of school. It was amazing how much she'd discovered already! Her first couple days were nothing less than culture shock, and her mind was still spinning from the egregious amounts of information she learned within that short amount of time. But here, in the expanse of nature, was where she could breathe. The hustle and bustle of this ever-changing island started to overwhelm her, and she still didn't understand why things had to move so fast. Her people weren't any better off, to be honest, as they were getting used to the over-stimulation of heavy schedules, time windows, and calendars. Dear Imas, calendars! The bane of her existence! Why in the world did they have to count 31 days within a season? What was the point? There was nothing "slow, natural, and patient" about this new world she lived in. It was all she knew, and yet somehow it felt so foreign, so against the grain of who she was.
Fixing her posture, she decided to move on and quit griping about something that wasn't going to change. She was sitting cross-legged down by the lake, watching the waves curl and fold over each other with impressive gentleness. It was a serene and gorgeous beauty, something she never hoped to take for granted. She was about to let her eyelids drift down, let the waves drown out all the other noises, activate her Water Attribute and let her heartbeat find the pulse of the wave, until her stomach growled in protest to not being fed.
She jolted up again with surprise. That's right- she came out here to eat her food! Slumping with dismay, she arched and turned around to lazily pull her lunch bag to her side. No such thing as "free-time" in this world. This was the only solitude she could have in this busy schedule, on this busy island. It bothered her, but she knew she was going to have to get used to it. Others in her community have, some already finding jobs, even.
Looking down, she unzipped her lunch bag and took out a large bowl with a lid. Opening it, the contents contained a salad littered with avocados, walnuts, and other adornments. Her stomach growled again in agreement, and taking her fork, she dug into her lunch, happily munching away. That was exactly what she was in the mood for, no doubt! However, as she ate, she noticed that the grass nearby was starting to spring up with newfound vitality. Her chewing slowed to a stop as she witnessed this unusual change. Sure, the grass near the lake was more vibrant than the grass near the school, but this kind of freshness was unnatural, almost purified. Her head tilted farther and farther with wonder until she heard rustling, and she turned her head to face the sound. Her eyes widened and her pupils dilated when her eyes fell on what she saw.
Standing there, stark naked, was a humanoid creature, but one of the most beautiful she'd ever seen. She had an uncanny grace, and she seemed to glide across the ground. Her large and rather fluffy tail swayed gently and trailed behind her like a train on a dress. Her long, brown hair bounced and fell gorgeously about her frame, and her large, green eyes transcended natural beauty. Anti caught herself staring and stopped herself, knowing it was rude. But she couldn't help and look back at her every single time...

...Who was she?
