Lovely Evening

She loved spending time with Orion; getting to know all about him and being around him. In fact, she loved it more than her art which used to be the most important thing to her. Amelia had her arm around his waist as he wrapped his around her's, walking close together. They seemed to go out every evening but it never grew tiresome or repetitive; every day with him was amazing - perfect, even. "Thank you." She turned and kissed him. "It really was."

"Me too." She leant her head on his shoulder as they walked. She gave a small laugh, "You don't need to keep thanking me, it's not tiresome to be around you." Ruffling his hair, she giggled, "You're so cute." Everything he did was sweet, gentlemanly, as though he was afraid she would leave him if he didn't give her all that attention; she wouldn't leave him.

Amelia was sure that she loved him and that she wanted to get serious with him when the time was right. After all, he was still you, and so was she, to an extent. At first, it bothered her that she was a few years older but being with him just made her forget. She turned to him as he asked her a question. "Of course."

Damn, he was so adorable. Amelia had her suspicions about what he was going to ask. She was definately ready and she was almost certain it was his first time so she didn't want to rush him. Facing him, she took both of his hands into her's and smiled. "I'm ready if you're sure you are. I don't want you to feel like you have to take it further just yet."

She gave him a reassuring smile. "It's okay. You don't need to apologize. We can take it as fast or as slow as you like." Kissing him back, she looked him in his swirling blue eyes. "If you ever feel uncomfortable with anything, you would tell me, wouldn't you?" She continued to walk with him, holding his hand and swaying it back and forth as the went.

As Orion talked, Amelia could feel herself welling up. His blue swirling eyes had seen so much neglect and lonliness, being used as nothing more than a power sorce that would be called upon when needed and then tossed aside as though he were meaningless. She held herself together, though. Kissing him back, she looked at him, unsure of what to say. "You are an amazing person, capable of doing whatever this life throws at you. Don't ever think otherewise." She loved him so much and she wanted to prove it to him. Not through those three simple words that almost everyone used when they saw a cute kitten or a good looking person.
