Maddie was worried to say yes. What was he going to do to the bottles? Did he plan on destroying them too?

Still, he was having so much fun, it was pretty infectious.

"That dolphin looks cute," she answered. "Are you going to break all the bottles too?"

"Well, I wasn't going to. I just have pretty good aim..." He thought for a moment, then grinned.
"I can though. That sounds more fun anyway." He said, putting money on the table. Shaking behind the counter, the vendor quickly handed him the dolphin, hoping he would be pleased with the offering and simply move on.

"I don't think he's going to take that," Maddie informed the vendor. "He likes the game, not the toys."

She looked up at Laetus. "You're gonna make all the other fair-goers sad if you keep breaking all the games."

"Oh.." Laetus sighed. "Alright, no more terminal velocity..." He handed her the dolphin and picked up a ball.
"Unless they cheat." He adds with a grin before lobbing the ball at the bottles. The ball hits between the necks of the bottom left and bottom center bottles, pushing the center one to the right and toppling the whole stack.
"... Not as fun without the explosion." He said teasingly as he turned back to her.
"We still have two balls. Want to give it a shot?"

Maddie grinned and took on. She hadn't tried many aiming activities.

When she threw the ball it missed by a long shot and it left her face hot.

"I did that on purpose," she told him quickly. "I didn't want to steal your thunder after all!"

"Actually, you know what would be fun? Ruining the game." She held the ball back out to Laetus. "Do that, uh, thing you did before."

Maddie prodded her cheek with her tongue and slowly rose her arm as if she were on the death march.

She closed her eyes and threw the ball as hard as she could. She peeked, hoping for the best.

It was like it happened in slow motion. Maddie thought it would have been one of those movie moments when the ball managed to strike home and she could look all smug. Instead it hit the back wall and came flying right back at her.

When, out of reflex, she would close her eyes, all she would hear was... the bottles, toppling over. Then, Laetus' clapping would chime in.
"There you go! I knew you could do it!"
The worker at the stall would look confused, but quickly shrug it off. These people were weird, even for this place. Best not to question it.
