<div align=center>Small. That was good enough for him, leaning his elbows on the table and staring idly across at Tyberius. He'd woken up early this morning, for Levi, at least. He was generally used to sleeping until noon and then not changing out of his pyjamas until five o clock and gone. That probably wasn't a very healthy way to live, but it sure was fun and Levi would much rather stay curled up in bed all day than get on with his responsibilities and do any kind of work. It was lucky he wasn't straight, really, because if he ended up getting someone pregnant he would have been the worst father you could possibly imagine.

The waitress that bounced over made even Levi cringe with her overly excitable personality. What was so great about being a waitress? Hiding a smile at Ty's reaction, his tail flicking back and forth behind him like that of a very odd sort of cat. A very gay sort of cat. He shrugged, he wasn't really sure how long they'd take, the food here was probably cooked from frozen and Levi didn't imagine that was very complicated, "oh not very long I'd imagine..." His mind was elsewhere, and his attention had shifted over onto the large stand full of various packets of sweets somewhere behind Ty.</div>

Returning the stare, Ty wondered what happened inside of Levi's head on a day to day basis. Sometimes, he had to wonder if anything happened in his mind, or whether he was just akin to a hyperactive child. The latter was probably more correct-- he would have less patience for a vegetable roommate. Then again, vegetables are less bothersome. "I hope so ... " Ty leaned forward as he focused on the door the waitress had disappeared into. Their ticket was presumably being hung in front of a cook, and the cook would just now be looking at it and thinking of the things they had to take out in order to make it ...

Far too focused on the future of food, Ty didn't notice that Levi was watching the sweets behind him. He had more or less completely forgotten about Levi for the moment, and was a little startled when his eyes shifted back to his tiny ... Companion. "Now what are you looking at?" Turning slightly, Ty caught sight of the rows and rows of sweets behind him. Sighing loudly and dramatically, Ty shifted back around, shaking his head. "No. No sweets. You eat your food first, and then you can maybe get something. Maybe." He was a little worried to feed Levi so much sugary things, especially in a public place. At least at home he could lock himself in the bathroom until he was finished.

<div align=center>Whimpering softly, Levi frowned at Ty. He so wanted some sweets. But Ty was right, and that was probably an awful idea. Hyperactive Levi in a place full of wild animals was probably akin to a horror movie. "Mmkay." Pouting just a little, Levi's tactic would probably be just to use puppy dog eyes on Tyberius until he got his own way, though that could be forever and amen knowing his room mate. Biting back a yawn, Levi wondered briefly how big this place was, he only had little legs and a lot of walking wore him out altogether very quickly. He absolutely wanted to go and pet the goats in the petting zoo, though.

"I want to go and see the goats, and the sheep and the chickens." Could you pet chickens? He didn't know, but he sure as hell was going to try. They were skittish creatures, he'd always thought. Perhaps these ones were tame. Having his attention snatched back by the all too perky waitress that breezed over with their order, that same overly fake smile plastered across her features. Levi eyed the plate that had been set down in front of him suspiciously, before quickly snatching up the paper cup full of some kind of brightly coloured fizzy drink. Sugar.</div>

Ty squinted across the table at his fussing friend. The first person he had ever managed to call friend, and he had picked a big useless baby. The whimpers were irritating, but at least he was not latching on and trying to beg from there. "The petting zoo is close by. If you're too tired afterwards, we can go home after the petting zoo." The zoo seemed to more or less follow in a giant circle shape, with squiggly paths leading off to larger, more directed exhibits. If they just went around the large circle, they would be able to see more of the animals than just the goats and the ones they had already seen.
Lord only knew why Levi had wanted to see the domesticated animals more than the wild ones you couldn't find anywhere else, but Tyberius had long since resigned himself to not trying to understand Levi's thought process.

The waitress returned with their food, and Tyberius' eyes lit up. His bowl of bread was set in front of him, filled with some kind of creamy soup substance. It smelled interesting, anyway, and Ty pulled off a small chunk off the top, dipping it into the soup before eating it. "Why are you so excited to see the goats, sheep and chickens, anyway? We can go to any old farm to see those."

It was only now that Levi felt he was more or less being treated like a child, and thinking about it, he didn't really mind all that much. It was attention, wasn't it? He liked attention, especially when it came from Ty, and so he kept his mouth shut, merely nodding in agreement to the older man's suggestion. It was likely that not even Levi understood Levi's thought process, he wasn't all there, really. The lights were all on, but no one was home. Needless to say he was good at his subject, he could tell you how to properly dress a wound and knew what to do in emergency situations where someone might be injured. He was good at that, and he liked that. The boy was just still having a hard time adjusting to life with humans, the earth was still a little odd in his eyes.

He shrugged when Ty asked him why he was so desperate to see the farm animals, "I guess it's because you can touch those, can't you?" He didn't really want to take his chances with patting a lion on the head, and he was sure that a sheep could do a hell of a lot less damage than one of those could. Levi supposed Ty was right, and you could see them at a farm, but he didn't even know if there was one of those around on the island. At least, not one you could visit. The meal that had been set in front of him was child sized, but that would do for now, he was only little.

Picking at his strange bowl of bread, Ty managed to reduce it to half his size, the soup soaked bread filling him easily enough. Ripping apart another layer from his bread basket, Ty decided that he had definitely eaten better fare than this. It wasn't that it tasted bad or burned, it just tasted ... Like it was frozen and canned food. Well, he really couldn't have expected them to have anything better with such low prices. You get what you pay for, usually. Pushing his plate away a bit, Tyberius sat back a little, his nose wrinkling as he examined the soup. Hopefully it wouldn't make him sick later on.

"You can touch any animal if you're brave enough." He had the power of flight, and that probably made being brave a lot easier. If something went wrong, just fly away. "That waitress has been eyeing us." And indeed, as soon as Ty had pushed his plate away, their waitress came scurrying over, bobbing up and down as she rattled off her long-practiced line on whether their meal was okay and their bill would be out soon. Whisking his bread away from the table, Ty blinked, looking a bit lost. The waitress might have been pushing her tables so she could seat the other people waiting, but he still kind of wanted his bread back now that it was gone.

You can touch any animal if you're brave enough. Letting out a soft trail of laughter, and shaking his head, a single dark eye flickered up to look at Ty. "Well, I guess I've touched you and that's scarier than most animals." Ty wasn't that scary, not really, he could be if he wanted to... But Levi supposed he was so used to him by now. He pushed the remainder of his food away from him, having really only left a few soggy fries and not much else. Levi didn't really have very much of an idea of fine cuisine, he didn't come from a rich family like Ty, and really he didn't recall actually ever having to eat down in the pits of hell. "Of course she's eyeing us," Levi answered, matter of factly. Why wouldn't she be eyeing them? He was attractive as hell and really Ty wasn't all that bad either. Not bad at all. "She's probably thinking about how sexy I am."

He cleared his throat and went quiet when she bounced over though, an eye settling on her briefly before shifting his attention back to Tyberius again. "Can I get sweets now?" He asked, "I ate like you told me to. I won't eat the sweets until we get home, I swear." Because deep down he knew that whatever sugar he was given would probably make him bounce off the walls. A terrible idea, but who could resist those big dumb puppy dog eyes? "Please?"

Tyberius raised one eyebrow, "Me? Scary?" He didn't think he was as scary as a bear, but he was awfully flattered that Levi thought he was scarier than most animals. It came across as a compliment when people told him he was scary. The scarier you were, the less people that approached you for friendship.
"How sexy you are? Please, you're nothing but a goat. Obviously she's looking at me, I'm the sexier one here."
He had been hoping that Levi would forget about the sweets promise, but apparently his hopes had been in vain. Beginning to regret promising Levi anything, Tyberius rubbed his temple with one hand, his eyes closing briefly. He knew he would have to deal with the sugar rush in the future, but for now he supposed that he may as well let Levi go. "Fine. You can pick out a few sweets. Find me something chocolate, too. I want chocolate. "

Fishing in his pockets for money, Ty grasped a large note bill, sliding it into the miniature folder for the waitress to pick up. He had left enough for their meal and a generous tip, not really wanting to stick around long enough for Levi to rope him into getting anything else. As much as he hated admitting it, that stupid puppy face Levi could make was horrifically irresistable.
"I bet they have cotton candy here at the zoo, too, have you ever tried that? Or caramel apples. It's probably the time for candied apples, anyway." May as well go all out with the sweets while they're here.

"You wish. Sure as hell goats are as sexy as you damn feathered things." Though with the go ahead to get sweets, Levi practically flew across the room. This was the worst idea Ty had ever had and he had already bundled up an uncomfortable amount of things from the shelves. He wanted everything. Besides, they could drop them in their cubby hole underneath the window and save them for when they were needed. He supposed he was making the most of human food because he'd never really had it before, it was all very exciting for him and he'd never really experienced anything like it before now. Dropping his collection of things on the table in front of Ty, Levi stared at him, face blank. "I picked out some sweets."

'Some' was probably an understatement. At least he'd picked some things out for his room mate, too, since undoubtedly he would be paying for it. Levi never had any money, he didn't really have any means of earning it. He was far too dumb to get a job, and his only real strong area was medical science, and he was still far too inexperienced to get a job in that. Of course he could always seduce people and rob them, but wasn't that more or less prostitution? Probably, Levi didn't really want to sink that low.

Ty turned up his nose at the return insult. Ravens were far too majestic to just be referred to as feathered things. He did not get the chance to say as much, because as soon as the words formed in his mind, Levi was off like a shot. A foreboding feeling blossomed in the pit of his stomach, and Tyberius watched as he jumped around, bundling package after package into his arms. As the pile grew, so did his exasperation. He should have known that Levi would do this. The boy seemed to be slowing down somewhat, and he had come back to drop the sweets on the table. Ty's eyes flickered down to the small mountain. "Only some, I see." A piece from the top of the pile toppled over, causing a small avalanche of things to fall down after it, causing the mountain to spread a little.

"I hope they have bags in here for all this. Help me take this to the counter up there so they can scan it all." Lord only knew how they were going to pack all this home. He would have to strap the bags to Levi and tie the kid to his back. No way was he going to get a minivan, though. Fumbling in his pockets once more, Tyberius just took out his entire wallet this time, deciding that it was more likely he would spend all of his parent's monthly allowance on Levi. Come to think of it, all he had spent his parent's wealth on was Levi. "My parents would hate you if they knew how much I've spent on you so far. I bet they'd have a fit if they ever had to meet you."
