She looked at him reaching her decision, and her purpose. She pulled away slightly, placing a hand on his cheek. Her now tearless eyes looked into his, she kissed him soundly. Staying close to him, "We'll do it, we'll train together..." She said to him fighting her want to just protect him like a mother fox protecting her cubs by leading the dogs away from the den. She hugged him tight, "But we can't just act like a team, she'll know. Somehow she knows everything, it's almost as if she has a spy always around. So if we're going to work as a team we're going to work as a couple almost like a married couple." She said thoughtfully thinking of that couple who died to protect the baby they loved, and her and Painter's baby was the future of people who were affect by Darci so they'd die to protect that.

Painter chuckles and flexes jokingly, "Haha, one good look at these and she'll run away scared!" he says and laughs, wiping the remains of her tears off of her cheeks. "Now then baby cakes, let's talk tactics.." he says and steps back a bit, grabbing a stick and kneels down to draw in the dirt below their feet. He begins to draw articulate plans before her, "We'll have to attack her on two fronts. As you combat her from the ground, using your powers to bombard he with constant powerful gale force winds, I'll be in flight, attacking from an aerial front. That way she'll have to split her concentration between the two of us. This should leave a weak point, we'll just have to find it and exploit it before she takes us down.."

"Haha, one good look at these and she'll run away scared!"

She chuckled, he knew how to cheer her up even if it was utterly stupid in reality. She loved him for his boyish charm and his everso loving jokes even if they seemed like he was vain.

"Now then baby cakes, let's talk tactics.."

The nicknames he came up with were quite interesting, though she didn't mind. They gave her some humor, though she felt the same way with him. Though she tried to keep the weird nicknames to a minimum.

"We'll have to attack her on two fronts. As you combat her from the ground, using your powers to bombard he with constant powerful gale force winds, I'll be in flight, attacking from an aerial front. That way she'll have to split her concentration between the two of us. This should leave a weak point, we'll just have to find it and exploit it before she takes us down.."

Allie sighed, if only she could remember her past. She was sure she had another power that was more powerful when combined with wind. She just couldn't remember it, she sighed, she felt like such a failure as a person to not be able to put forth her all in this because of her past. The last thing she wanted was Painter dead, but she didn't want their 'baby' to die either. She remembered the couple they tried two in aerial, maybe Painter's plan would work better than the couple's. "It sounds reasonable, though she's going to be expecting us to worry about the other's capitablity of taking care of themselves. But if we work hard enough we might be able to achieve some readable teamwork before it's too late." She somehow felt Darci was going to be moving soon. It was odd the way she felt these things.

He frowns quietly in thought. He really hated situations like this, when he had to with someone much more powerful than him, and even with help the fight against the single foe would be difficult. It was like David and Goliath, except this time Goliath was much more likely to win. Logically his tactics made sense, but there were many unknown variables about the enemy they faced, it made creating a real strategy difficult. With a sigh, he rises back to his feet, the dirts blowing away with a gust of wind. "Don't show any signs of weakness against her, even if she has me at the point of death, you mustn't show any more attachment to me than to people with a common goal, and no more.

She looked at him, she nodded. She didn't want to make it harder, but if she died and he didn't know her love she'd never forgive herself. She looked into his eyes, running her soft hand against his cheek. She told him through her actions that she loved him. She didn't know how she could react if he got hurt, but she'd try her best to acknowledge that there was more than themselves involved. It was the future of all. It would be hard for them to prepare themselves for something as unknown as Darci and what she had plotted. Nothing could prepare anyone for such a thing. But those who have gone through it before and remember were numbed. Such as Headmistress Claira.

He can feel her love pulsing throughout his body and he closes hi eyes quietly. He was happy that she was able to accept that he wasn't just going to stand back. He could feel how afraid she was to lose him, and his fears were just as great, probably worse. However, he trusted that she was strong enough to take care of herself, and therefore knew that she would not die, at least no very easily.

She held him tight, staying in his arms. She wanted this moment of love to prepare them for the unknown future. Because if they weren't prepared emotionally, no matter how much training they did. They'd die, she didn't know how she could prepare him for what they as a team and a couple would face in Darci's house of Horrors. But she was sure Darci wasn't going to let them out unharmed. For this one moment she didn't want to focus on Darci and the suffering they'd endure. For if this was a mystery to Allie they would've both been happier. But it wasn't, Allie knew Darci's power it was greater than the great Golath with his mighty sword. She was the ultimate enemy.

Painter smirks showing a new self confidence he hadn't shown before. It has been a part of him that he'd kept down for a while and it was starting to resurface. He gives her a light squeeze and steps back, taking a deep breath, "So, I think it's about time we get this started. We should try and find this Axel guy now.." he says to her quietly, frowning in thought.

"So, I think it's about time we get this started. We should try and find this Axel guy now.."

She nodded squeezing his hand lightly, she wondered what would happen. And if they did make it then what would the future hold. She looked at the sky, "Do you know anything about this guy other than his name?" She asked curiously. She knew it would be hard to find a guy with only his first name. She was pretty sure there'd be more than one Axel so it'd be pretty hard to find him the first try unless it was fate.

"Actually, I heard he was a teacher...I think he teaches..control class??" He pauses for a minutes in thought, "Well, anyways, we should probably be able to find him in his office and get his help. He's bound to be able to show us something we don't know.." He smirks again at her with that confident look. He didn't know what was coming over him, but he felt like a power to be reckoned with.
