Leaning against the wall, Ara looked at the ground below her from the balcony. The strong breeze blew some strands of her hair out of her bun, and she quickly put them behind her ear. As always, her staff was with her.
Ara walked over to the edge of the balcony, and sat down. She traced her fingers over the little one foot 'fence' that would keep someone from falling off the edge. She noticed some words in the stone, but most of the letters and words were too worn out to read. She sighed... those words had had a meaning at sometime, but now they were nothing.
She looked around, and stood back up. Ara wondered what the few words that were readable had meant, but she had never been a detective; solving mysteries was just something she couldn't do.
