the girl bowed as she was placed onto the floor."thanks, i'm alexia bye the way." she said smiling, glad to be off the bookcase."and why were you here?" she said, searching his face for the answer.
"well so was i, but you can have it." she opened her bag and brought out the book, placing it in chris's hands."there ya go, just give it to me when your done with it." she smirked and grinned evilly
"its a magic book, supposed to help with anykind of spells." he giggled and turned, climbing her way back to the top of the shelf."i think their are more here aswell." she said, throwing some to chris.
"Spells? I've never really tried them."
He took a look at the first spell in the book. Warning - not for beginners. Heh, screw that. I can handle this...
"I call upon thee in the land of the dead to unleash thy fury of thunder...INDIGNATION!"
A large purple circle appeared around Chris. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was about to happen.
"Oh crap!"
Chris ran out of the circle just in time to avoid the lightning.
"Yeah, I don't do spells."
"apperantly not! what kind of book did you want?" snickering as the lightening disappeared."well i'll take that book from you now!" she said and jumped down, laughing.
"Gladly. These spells are more of a danger to me than to anyone else."
He gave the book back to Alexia.
"I was looking for something to realise my true power. Call it greed if you want, but I think of it as curiosity."
"well what is your power? i'll help you look!!" she grabbed his arm and grabbed his hand dragging him down each aisle of books, searching for the right one."come on help me up to the top so we can look there!"
